I’m tired out 😂
Understandable 😂
Seeing the Doctor and the Trickster together is great, and not just because of the Doctor being in it, I really love this episode.
Doctor and Trickster meeting wasn’t something I expected but glad I got to see it. It was awesome 🔥
“No one’s ever going to forget you” stings because of what happened to Donna
Oh wow. Didn’t even think about that. Glad you mentioned it :)
and we must remember, the Trickster tried to use Donna, too
It's even worse when you realise when the Trickster said "The gate is waiting for you." The Trickster was referring to the gate from the one of the last episodes of Tennant's run.
Casually reacting, editing and dropping half of series 3 in 1 day 😂😂 blessing us this Saturday my man nice work as per get yourself some rest 😂
Yeah definitely getting some rest 😂😂 can’t wait to watch more :)
IIRC this was the last thing that David Tennant filmed as the doctor (before the 50th )
15:50 - that was me, haha! And yes, I was glad we got this. And I agree, the trickster is a PROPER villain and fits returning as he is a big threat with great power.
100% hoping he appears more as I continue and hopefully one day appears in DW :)
@@HamzaReactzremember "turn left" in s4?
The beetle on Donna's back was mentioned to be sent by the tricksters brigade
This was the BEST Sarah Jane episode! And this cemented my notion that I want these “kids” to be the doctors companions! Clyde has become amazing. I’d love a reboot with them continuing Sarah janes work. Btw the doctor was the only one allowed to call Sarah Jane “Sarah”.
100% I need to see them in Doctor Who as companions. Even if they just show up for one or a two parter episode.
Luke, Clyde, & Rani return in Big Finish audio adventures, with the actors reprising their roles... grown up & in modern day. The first in the series is called “Rani Takes on the World: Beyond Bannerman Road.”
This was actually the last thing david tennant filmed as the doctor. He had already filmed the end of time part 2 by this point, that must have been weird for him haha
Yeah definitely must’ve been weird 😂
Great episode. You're reaction to seeing 10 haha. I'm sure someone's brought it up, but the beetle thing in Turn Left was part of the Trickster's Brigade, so I suppose in a way, they did cross over a little.
Yeah true but I’m hoping to see him show up properly in DW. Would be awesome to see him sort of become The Doctors Archnemesis like the Daleks are :)
The Trickster is an eternal, the eternals appear in the classic series, they’re basically any being or person who’s immortal and above lesser species. Some cause chaos, some observe, some play games, some relax for centuries or change timelines and interfere. The Tricksters basically undying, existing outside the universe in his little limbo world so he can keep coming back whenever he wants, he doesn’t ever die, more gets banished for a while or trapped. That’s why he keeps coming back, still alive.
The time beetle that was on Donna’s back in series 4 was one of the tricksters brigade. They’re part of the pantheon of discord. So they’re eternals that like to cause chaos and feed off it
Ah interesting, pretty cool but at the same time it can start to feel repetitive. They would have to come up with cool storylines for his character just so it doesn’t feel repetitive. So far they’re doing a good job :)
One of my Top 5 SJS stories. Great fun!
Much has been said anout how good 10 is; the Trickster; K9 etc...but can I also give a shout out to Nigel Havers? His performance as Peter is lovely, and he makes his tragic character completely sympathetic
Yupp. The actor for Peter was great. Really made us feel emotional for a character we were only introduced to in this episode :)
Doc is so good in this. Love this story. Love interest was fab
Yupp. It was great 🔥 can’t wait to watch more :)
Ye, these episodes were hype when they first aired. I rewatched it a lot when I was younger. I had all the dvds and I would play then on my portable dvd player no matter where I went.
I just got a huge rush of Nostalgia flow through me when you mentioned the portable DVD player. What a time that was as a kid using one of those 🔥
@@HamzaReactz Ikr. It's cool that you're getting to experience these shows now tho. I'd do anything to experience them for the first time. That's why I like watching react channels, it's the closest you can get.
Same reason to why I watch reactions to Marvel and Star Wars :)
Excellent reaction. Goosebump, joy inducing moment.
Yupp. Thanks for watching :)
"Somehow Palpatine returned." That really made me laugh haha.
I had to put it in there 😂
This is probably one of my favourite SJA episodes. You’re exactly right, this is probably the best way to handle the Doctor in the show. I also love that K9 is properly back, since he’s one of my favourite characters. Very much looking forward to future reactions :)
K9 is awesome. Can’t wait to watch more 🔥
Been waiting for this one!😄
Loved watching your excitement when The Doctor was arriving!!!!
As I think I said somewhere else- you have to separate The Doctor from the TARDIS in most narratives, or he could just solve everything in an instant....
Not a spoiler just filming facts:
Someone else has probably already said, but this was filmed after they finished filming David's last DW Special- so in the Real World, this is his last time filming in this role.... so that final farewell in the TARDIS really was 'final'. Of course in the DW universe, this happens before the end of his time, and so in the fictional world, it's not the end of is story.
Oh wow. This is the first time I’m learning this. Didn’t know this was his last time playing the Doctor during his era. Actually really sad his era is coming to an end soon. Can’t wait to see him again for the 60th anniversary :)
Im so happy you didnt know that David was gonna be in this ep... especially as i think bbc iplayer has his pic on it... so your surprise was fantastic to watch..
I absolutely adore this story... especially as it was technically Tennant's last ep (spit spot being his last line 😂) ...and that ending... its a reverese of what Sarah says to the Fourth Doctor before she leaves... this always breaks my heart especially as she is no longer with us... and well considering Tennant grew up watching her... this was his final story with her... he really got to live his childhood dreams... the companion he watched kind of became his companion too.. beautiful.
I think this story aired aired just before the next Doctor Who episode that u will be watching...so im glad its all in order for u still.
Oh goodness seriously jealous how spoiler free you were for this story!!!
I didn’t even think about the fact that Tennant grew up watching her and then got to act along side her. FANTASTIC. Regarding the thumbnail, I try my best not look at them or pay attention to them when clicking on the episodes. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it’s hard to avoid them. Hate the thumbnails on IPlayer 😂 can’t wait to watch more :)
unfortunately this is the last episode with the Trickster, there were plans to bring him back for the season 5 finally however due to the death of Elizabeth Sladen they were never able to do it. that episode was actually also going to be the final defeat of the Trickster.
Oh wow. That’s unfortunate but understandable. Still hoping one day he can appear in DW :)
@@HamzaReactz I know, and I do wish that the trickster could appear in Doctor who too. We have seen on of his puppets in Doctor who, the time beetle from turn left is one of his minions. But as of right now this is the only encounter between the trickster and the doctor
The trickster is a super cool villain. Also the one behind Turn Left. He’s sort of Sarah Jane’s recurring nemesis like the Dalek’s with the Doctor.
That’s cool. Hope to see him one day in DW
I think this story should've been the finale. It's finale level stakes and absolutely beautifully done. I want the Trickster to return, badly
Love this one.
The Trickster is pretty much like The Daleks in Dr Who, Sarahs arc nemesis.
He is an eternal type being like several classic who villains who one is rumoured to return in the upcoming 60th anniversary specials. So he will never be fully defeated and always out there somewhere
Ah cool. I surprisingly like that :)
Question. Further down the line will you be reacting to the spin-off Class as well?
It’s on the order I’ve been given, so yes I will be :)
Such a fantastic episode. The trickster is such a horrifying villain that takes advantage of people at their weakest point.
Yupp. Hope to one day see him in DW
Gorgeous!
Yupp 🔥🔥
YESSSSSSSS FINALLY
Hope you enjoyed :)
This is definitely one of my favourite Sarah Jane episodes, along with Prisoner of the Judoon. Series 3 so far is a very mixed bag for me, I love Prisoner of the Judoon and this episode, but really did not enjoy The Mad Woman In The Attic.
Also, not a spoiler but something you should be aware of,, don't watch Series 4 of Sarah Jane until you have watched Series 5 of Doctor Who. Something that happens in Series 5 of DW is mentioned in Series 4 of Sarah Jane and will spoil it for you.
Other way round with Judoon and Attic for me
Yeah I’m aware. The order I’ve been given has SJA series 4 after DW series 5. It’s switched for me, I like The Mad Woman and dislike Prisoner of the Judoon 😂 but glad to hear you enjoy it :)
Good Dog
Im on team K9
Same here :)
Spoilers
The Trickster was suppose to show up in season 5, but he doesn't
Damn. Would’ve been so cool if he was
@HamzaReactz it's due to Liz Sladen dying during filming of that season. Season 5 was only half complete so is just 3 stories.
Fun Fact for anyone who isn't aware, David Tennant's scenes in these two episodes were actually the last scenes he filmed as the Tenth Doctor during his run, as filming for these episodes took place after filming for The End of Time. When Elisabeth Sladen told the Doctor "No one's ever going to forget you" it was more of a nod to David's performance in the role and that his contribution to Doctor Who would never be forgotten. This was actually David Tennant's final goodbye as the Tenth Doctor.
Awesome to know. Thanks for commenting this :)
doctor who reactions when, I'm dying over here lol
Probably Monday :)
You gotta finish season 4 of doctor who mannnn waiting for it 😎Sarah Jane smith is also great tho
I’m going in the order I’ve been given :)
Luke was the most annoying character
