    For those who complain about not having tools, You can rent them by the hour or day. very inexpensive. Good luck.

    Do these effect the backup sensors at all?

      Only if you cut out the backup sensors. Leave the sensors in their stock location. You can tell exactly where they are because they'll be little "dots" on the face of the bumper.

    Why a switch? Why not just wire them to the reverse lights?

    • @Bcamos1
      @Bcamos1 6 років тому +2

      If you're using them as work lights, it doesn't help for them to only be on in reverse. I have to hitch up my horse trailer in the dark regularly (early morning) and having the lights on while hitching up is very helpful (hooking the chains, etc.) I'd rather have them on whenever I want rather than only with the reverse lights. Their solution was the best of both worlds, because you get to pick. But my wiring wasn't that fancy.

      Agreed.... you can use them as B/U lights and also scene lights too.

      Tailgaters and high Beamers

      They pull too much current. That's what the relay is for.

      The wiring supplying current to the stock backup lights isn’t sufficient. Hence the heavy duty wiring harness and relays supplied with kit.

    Don't want the expensive difficult way go buy a Chinese light set and mount it under your bumper with Scotchlocks.

    Red hot metal sparks blasting all over the tailgate.......not cool. I have a Plasma cutter and wouldn't use it for this job.

    Just an Idea!!! You guys need to make a 30" or 40" SR or E Series that can be Flush Mount into a Trucks Tail Gate. It can be Plugged into the Vehicles Trailer Harness and take advantage of the Marker Lights, Signals and Reverse Lights. Those LED Strip Lights for underneath the Tail Gate are Garbage. I know Something made by Rigid would be way better. If you want the Best, Forget the Rest!!!

      I'm interested in cutting a pocket inside my tailgate to mount 9000 lumen red light. Or, mount the 7" light where the step/license plate is. relocate the state issued license plate to the side.

    A plasma cutter, really? Let's spark the crap out of a new bumper with sensors , wires , lights and so on. Sir you need to refresh your skills or use the proper tools for the job in hand.
