Sometimes the richness in natural resources that Africa is blessed with feels like a curse. Greedy nations impose themselves on us and bring us apart because they want cheap access to these resources. They are so far ahead in development and unified among themselves that it makes it incredibly difficult for us to liberate ourselves from this predicament we have found ourselves in. Africa has been in a bad place for way too long. When will the idea of African independence among us Africans reach critical mass? When will we all have uniformity in our thinking that the only people who can get us out of this bad situation is ourselves and not these developed nations? When? Because unless that happens, we will continue suffering in the hands of all these colonialists.

It’s in the wealthy countries best interest to keep mineral, and resource rich countries in internal unrest, and in need of our support. Doing this will have them sell us their resources at fractions of the real cost.

Actually it's not. It is much cheaper to get minerals in a stable country in which you can build infrastructures. The problem is corruption within African countries. Foreign countries send troops because they want to stabilize the region in order to get minerals.

Let me help you to understand this CAR issue:
France usually takes all resources and leaves nothing to locals, when presidents get rid of France's pressure and complain, France use coups to oust them.
Now the current president wanted change ever since he was the prime minister of the former president.
Now he went out to the countries that are anti-France (Russia and Rwanda) the two countries welcomed his offer which is again inline with what UN peacekeepers on the ground are standing for (supporting government from rebels attacks).
When the country was about to go to presidential elections, France brought back former president as things were getting worse for its interests in the country.
Then Rwanda and Russia signed security and mining agreements with the current president so that they can defend him from France.
Few days before elections, Rwanda and Russia sent special forces to protect the capital which was about to be taken by the rebels.
Both Russia and Rwanda have signed long term deals with the current Government to which they could defend hence driving out rebels.
But that would end UN job in the country, which many countries that have peacekeepers there are actually not wishing especially at this time of the pandemic.
Contrary to what western media is broadcasting, Government forces with its allies (Russia and Rwanda) have pushed rebels back to side regions, most major urban towns have been recovered.

In there as UN peacekeepers and as independent soldiers too, so probably Rwanda has more soldiers in the country, recently launched its first RwandAir route to the capital Bangui.
Also Rwanda has been helping the country with Security services for the government, as well as humanitarian assistance in various forms.
