    Amazing guy, great find of u to feature him on your channel. Just freakishly strong at such a young age. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors. As i was telling somebody earlier today there are greater genetic potential for strength all around the world it's just that many of the top tier genetic freaks used not to choose powerlifting and instead entered in Nfl, Nba, Baseball , Pro wrestling etc. in Usa specially. But i feel the sports of strength like powerlifting and strongman needs to be conducted in wide scale in every parts of the world , not just in Usa , Uk and other parts of Europe where this sport is already getting more popular than ever , but also in every countries of African continent and Asian continents. I know Australian continent already have had some great strength athletes in the past or even now. India where i live not many people care about sports like powerlifting and strongman even though we regularly conduct competitions like India's strongest man or powerlifting competitions due to lack of good money. By this not cream of the crop can be encouraged to compete. I assure u the two asian countries, India and China possess the two largest population in the earth so,it is highly probable that u can get far more variety of genetic talents from these two countries as compared to other countries,despite the general notion spread across the globe that north eastern european races like scandinavians, slavic ,norse and icelanders are definitely stronger than other races from other countries. Through this, we would witness greater pool of genetic talents and potential and by doing so would get the idea of who truly is the strongest. . Then the titles like world's strongest man, strongest man on earth, world's strongest powerlifter etc. would hold its true meaning and value. Rn it is great time for strength sport like powerlifting where a wider pool of genetic talents are participating and it is guaranteed for strength aficionados like us to watch old records falling and new records setting in the coming years.

      Possibly training & diet too. I don't know you but when you have the money unfortunately to go for it all it helps. Having how many people behind the scenes that know your DNA to then tell you to the micrograms of what you need & how you should work out & change said workouts as you grow. Unfortunately yes the above comment is true. Genetics play a BIG role as well.

    It is good to see the young prodigy to have a potential in the strength games like him. But I just hope he is consistent to his longevity. I dont wanna something of a youngsters short career like Arild Haugen, Paul Pirjol, and Kevin Nee, let alone Luke Richardson at some point, it's just devastating. Just keep consistent, avoid injuries, and of course training freakin smart. Rushing thing for the good beginning is tend to have a bad end.

    Even if he had hit all his "dream" total he would still be 130+ pounds behind Mark Henry at the same age (According to openpowerlifting and Mark only took one bench and one dl attempt at that age apparently). Wonder how you decide to feature these randos who are no doubt strong but definitely don't have a hope in hell of making it to WSM unless they are actually natural and respond super well to drugs. Makes you realize how ridiculous Mark Henry is (esp if he was actually natural, as you seem to believe).

    • @StrengthUniverse
      @StrengthUniverse  9 місяців тому +4

      Mark competed with Knee wraps, Broden competes Raw and had at least a year more training then Broden at that point. Mark didn't just take one attempt at each lift, the data was completed in retrospected and has some inaccuracies. "Wonder how you decide to feature these randos" were you one of those saying Mitchell Hooper would amount to nothing when I featured him 2 years ago?

    • @ryanwong3481
      @ryanwong3481 9 місяців тому +2

      Haha nope, can’t say I was a serious enough fan to remember Mitch before he did that online 475 DL and 200 Log.
      Thanks for clarifying about the wraps and the attempts I didn’t know that. But I guess my main point is that he doesn’t seem crazy strong when you’re talking about WSM quality. There are another 7 guys in his weight class alone who totalled more than him, all in the last 10 years and none of them have become household names (at least to a casual like me). Also there’s one crazy guy called Eleuterio Montalvo who totalled 100lbs more raw at a lighter weight class last year if you play with the filters on openpowerlifting and he wasn’t featured.

    • @ryanwong3481
