I really wish rochobby/fms would make some parts like shocks, links and bras for these trucks. I believe it’s It’s the same cr18 based platform for most of their scale trucks.
@@rcdriver Redcat might have something that fits. Maybe a low rider building. I feel like Ralphie at Christmas. Just dreaming of builds all over my bench.
The model scales out to 1/14.7 or 1/15 scale so that is pretty big. Very few of these FMS/Rochobby/EazyRC vehicles are true to stated scale so keep that in mind.
Once again a great scale offering from ROCHobby. Not my favorite body style though. I'd prefer a '55 or '56 if I'm being picky, but most any scale offering is a good thing.
i have a love hate relationship with ur channel. you put out these great videos but then i find my bank account missing money and a new rc truck showing up 2 weeks later quite often lol
Nice overview! Yes, that esc and radio in “low gear” and “climbing mode” is really really good (presumably the same as in HiLux/K10?) Very nice body and details again from FMS/Roc Hobby, but it’s not my taste, this time.
I got this and the Atlas 4x4 on a buy one get one deal for fathers day. Love the Atlas, but the Magnum is soooo slow. I tried driving it on a trail and stopped because I realized it was going to take forever. Its a shame because its so photogenic. My new project is to make this a halfway decent trail runner. I already changed from a 55T to a 50T 050 motor and it now runs at an actual brisk walking pace. Just put some Interco Super Swamper TSL tires on it today. Going to take it trailing this weekend and see if its any more bearable.
@@misterknotsmarte There are some SCX24 or maybe even FCX24/18 parts that may fit, but so that being said I have turned this into another experiment car. I just put 42g brass beadlocks on it with landmine tires, and I have removed body and used a ambulance model body instead. I also used an angle grinder to shorten the frame slightly. I have a few videos with it on my channel.
Damn, RocHobby just keeps producing these scale gems! (this gem being clearly blue , Greg.) 😄 I'd like opening doors, that would be the cherry on top of the cake. They share the same chassis on a variety of rigs... Would this body fit on the Chevrolet K10? 🤔 Would not mind having the ability of doing that change from time to time. 😃
If I were to do a project on it, I'd only really want to work on the front axle to make a tighter turning circle, and splice in a pigtail to just the lights, plug it in while it's on the shelf so you can turn all their lights on from one switch and house power.
It looks great except for the wheels and tires. If I get one I'm going to want to source skinny steelies and more period correct tires. It's not a performer and it's not high so I think if it could be made to look like a stock truck that would be its charm. Now where can I find suitable wheels and tires?
FMS / Roc Hobby just keep pushing the bar on the scale realism of these truck. Thanks Greg👍
Primer red and yellow lettering on the door with tractor tires! If you know you know.. Yes!
"We ain't bad but the bad don't mess with" us is a '51 or '52 this one here looks like a '48 or '49.
way cool! would love it if they did something like the ford model T, those things actually have great suspension movement on them.
What an amazing little rig!!!!! My wife and i are in love with this

These trucks are getting awesome detail.
This thing looks amazing. I'd love to get my hands on this!!
This is the best one yet!
I wish it had the 51 grill, but it is one of the coolest rc trucks I’ve seen in a while.
They should make a 1:10 or 1:6 scale version.
I’d love to get my hands on 3 of these. As soon as I saw it 3 distinct builds ideas slammed into my head!!!
Speaking of slammed. I kind of wanted to slam this truck and put road wheels on it. But I'm having trouble finding wheels that would work.

Just got this car. Is there an easy way to have the rear lights on all time?
Whoa wait back up
In the first indoor shot, top row on the left
I want to see the Tamiya semi up there
I was hoping it would come to us. Seen it a few months ago on overseas sights. Ordered mine last night and I'm forseeing a Sanford and Sons paintjob.

Anymore updates? I'm not finding much info on upgrading this. And I'm pretty new

Any comprasion to other 1/18 models? It looks bigger than 1/18.
I have just learned through research that this spectacular rc truck is 1:15 scale.
Total Grandpa Truck
Just ordered mine!!!!!
Is it a 1/18 small size RC car? By the way, the details of the RC car are quite good. This is a great RC car.👍👍👍
Hola Amigo como estas , esta super este nuevo camion , me encantan los carros a escala y ese es uno muy especial , saludos y gracias
It's beautiful..!! 🤩
I think I might have to add this to drive alongside my Fms hilux and apache . It’s stunning looking truck
It looks so good next to the Apache!
@@rcdriver yeah similar era I’d imagine ? We just don’t have these old pickups in the U.K. sadly
I want one , hi from Costa Rica 🇨🇷🇺🇸🤜🏻🤛🏻
Do you have any recommendations for brands that have realistic models like this and good parts upgrade availability?
Looking forward to trying this! its on the way 😀
It looks awesome. Just very slow. Very slow.
Put the FCX24 axles on it.
Nice truck . 👍🏼
New to the hobby, was wondering if I could put shock absorbers on it to reduce the bouncy ?
Sure, but the shocks are kind of tiny.
awesome video awesome truck want one

I used to use a 12v converter to power my shelf of model cars lights. Each car had its own little pigtail that would plug into the shelf.
Old school-----Cool school
Reminds me of Sanford and Son
I think it’s an attempt at sea mist green.
Someone is totally making a tow truck out of this
❤ lindo demais 👏👏👏👏👏 parabéns muito perfeito 💯💯💯💯💯🇧🇷
Need leaf springs
i put it my old v1 fms max smasher electronics into the k10. butter
I love it, Go ahead and take my money I want it.
Needs chain latches on the tailgate
Color looks to be an attempt at '55 Waterfall Blue.
Or maybe it's Aquatone Blue? Either paint code C or D from that year.... I like old Fords clearly lol
Seems like a truck for the farm.
The color is called Turquoise.
J'ai acheté le mien il y a 8 mois en France ....
👍
Look better 1/10th.
True I prefer 1/10th So it’s a pass

OMG It was all good till I saw those proprietary screw 🤷
