    On this video I fixed the vacuum leak on the rear of the climate control. The leak was causing a hissing sound behind the dash and not letting all the vacuum actuators to open and close like they should. The vacuum actuators control the different positions of the vents. This is a common problem with these old trucks and the part we modded is a hard to find part that usually runs $125+ when available. .

    Thanks for your video. My Vacuum system for my bend doors doesn't work. Where does the Vacuum come from possibly that hole is disconnected.

      Let me Be more specific. Fan speeds change. What dosnt change, is which vent its blowing from. Seems to be stuck on front dash vent and the floor vent.

      Mine you can hear the fan, it changes speeds, but no air is coming out of any vents, I was hoping this was the issue but nope, so back to hunting down the issue

    Mine blows out in multiple places but mostly out the bottom, slightly out the defrost, no hissing sound though but I may need to do the same thing, blend doors seem to be moving well, AC blows pretty cold
    Any advice is helpful

    Question, the vacuum hose that goes to the engine bay, a mouse chewed mine off and I dont know where it goes. Does it just hook to manifold vacuum?

    I turned on my A/C the other day and it was working fine, but as soon as I switched it to bi level, the whole thing cut off and won't turn back on, and the control lever is stuck on bi level, it will switch to vent and heat with some hissing in the back, but will not budge past bi level, any tips or suggestions?

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  Рік тому +1

      its probably this. The hissing you hear is actually vacuum leaking out. The vacuum is what controls all the doors in the system.
