Island hopping 200 miles by boat to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas

- Traveling from Key largo to a Tropical remote prison off the coast of Key west. Thank god there wasn't rough water because we had a beautiful crossing comparable to the Bahamas as we did some fishing and exploring the dry tortugas and fort Jefferson. This was an unforgettable vacation boat trip which is what boating is all about!

Absolutely love your video and your quest for adventure ! I’m sat here in Yorkshire England 🏴 dying to get over to Florida again with my family. The Keys and Gulf coast are just the best of Florida for me. I first visited as a 8 year old kid in 1976 your Bi centennial year. America 🇺🇸 has never left my mind since. You are blessed beyond words can explain. Cherish the moments you have with your parents cause once they’re gone it will be all about the memories. I hope someday to also make it down to the Tortugas. Funny thing is me and my family did a lot of fishing and exploring the keys as kids same with my wife and her family. Keep up the great videos love them.

A great place to visit
I loved the Dry Tortugas when I was there about 30 years ago. My high school took 20 of us to camp for 4 nights in the beach. The boat took us fishin' and I caught the biggest fish, a fat mutton snapper. Good times! The lobsters were huge, plentiful and protected unfortunately. It's a beautiful place with lots of fish and the fort is awesome.
Another epic video! Definitely on my bucket list for sure especially when you said it's like a bahama trip only calm waters.

One of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Great snorkeling just outside the prison walls!
It’s a military fort, not a prison, they did keep prisoners there at one point, but strictly for labor
One day ima get to your level of video creation. Im surprised you have not been picked up by National Geographic or Discovery channel your videos and cinemagraphic are that good and top notch. I defintly will have to make a run down there in my Boat soon before the water starts to get cold!

Dry Tortugas is by far my favorite place, nothing like it, fishing is amazing, caught my personal best mutton and red grouper there. one lesson we learned fishing/camping there for 3 days, is bring as much ice as you possibly can bring

Great video as always. I know you guys provide some useful tips in most of your videos in regards to fishing; however, a video on specifically on fishing tips, bait, and tackle would be great for me. You have solidified yourself as a legitimate knowledge source so it would carry more weight than the random videos I find on UA-cam. Can't wait to take the trip from Tampa Bay to Key West!

3. Did you fuel up in Key West before/after? How much fuel does your boat hold?
I was camping there it’s so beautiful there was a big salt water crocodile that Wallis swim in the area and vary nice coral would recommend
My girlfriend & I literally just got back from our trip to Dry Tortugas. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! We did it via Yankee Freedom ferry. Next time we are going to camp there!
One day, I want to upgrade from a small center console to 30 ft walk-around with a cabin of course and spend most of my time on the water.... That's my ultimate dream!!! Nice mutton by the way! -:)
