How about a new ground rule for Tomo: Every time he gets yet another new guitar, he also gets a nice new Ragdoll kitten as well!! Jim C.
This guitar is really different!
Love that brown texture to it. Very raw, just like it's suppose to be!
This guitar is really light & arming was so much fun!
@@TomoFujitaMusic That's great to know! It looks like a fun guitar.
These are great guitars. I own a G290 Fat II and it's simply one of the best playing guitars I've had. Cort's house brand is so underrated!
Thanks for sharing!
3 Corts here. 1 electric and 2 acoustics. The Cort electric an early production Cort/Manson Classic TC with the original specs of Rosewood fingerboard and Ash body. I lucked a ideal weight unit at 3.5kg. Build quality and finish is as good as it gets. It's my go-to Tele and on of my favourite guitars in my inventory up agains stiff competition from the likes of Gretsch, Ibanez and Yamaha at up to three times its pricepoint sitting here along side it. Wouldn't hesitate to buy a Cort guitar I fancied. I'd have more Cort guitars, but already have those bases covered instrumentally and can't have everything. I do fancy a Cort Frank Gambale Luxe II though. Never say never.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Mr.Fujita.
Guitar design and setting are nice. We are waiting sound.
I already made this guitar demo! I made so many videos ahead. Thank you so much!
I have a Cort Luce acoustic and two Cort made Squiers. Very happy with all of them.
Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on 500k youtube subscribers 😳‼️
Thank you so much! Amazing!
Love how he folds the plastic cover and sets it in the box !
Thank you!
Looks great! Will wait for the demo. Curious to see how you get on exploring those extra highs up the neck.
Thank you! I already made this guitar demo! I will post it soon!

@@Kept_Crude Not yet. Very soon!
I just got this one recently, great instrument.
Awesome!
Love the raw finish !
Yes!
From Brazil, Hi! You are very outgoing! I'm going to buy a guitar like this. This guitar is terrific!
I'm subscribed and I 👍👍👍.
Thank you so much! Amazing guitar!
Best unboxing on UA-cam 😎
Thank you so much!
cort makes lots of guitars for other companies. primo stuff. i recently got a jetter gold dual pedal. one side is very mild gain. sounds like the amp pushed a little. the other side is an overdrive, marshall/dumble type, with plenty of gain. i use less than 50%. and if you want to get wild you can use both side together. sounds really good with my hotrod deluxe.
Thanks for sharing! Thank you so much!
For distortion, I have a few flavors. Imperial MKii amp, but if I want extra I use a BOSS Wazacraft Blues Driver, JHS Bonsai, or a MXR Sugar Drive (Klon). For fuzz I have a Fulltone Soul Bender, germanium fuzz.

Core Tek builds the overseas models for big name brands as a ghost builder. Cort guitars come out of the same factory as PRS, Ibanez, G&L, among others. Pretty neat way for them to build talented labor and high quality through contract work then use the experience and human assets to make great guitars with their own brand name. That G300 has flagship build quality and accoutrements. I expect it to be priced low enough to give the competition stomach aches. A measure of how serious Cort is can be noted where they actually manufacture in house their own high quality floating trem, by the way.
Thank you for sharing! Great quality! This guitar is amazing!
This guitar is a great guitar for jamming with Marty Friedman!
I got three Cort.A G254,a first Generation G290 FAT and a HBS II.They are nice guitars.
Awesome!
lovely cort g300pro, hopefully soon I can buy this great guitar
Yes!
Cheaper than a Suhr. So yeah.
Does the volume or tone knob push/pull for pickup split????
👋
beautiful guitar!!
Yes! Thank you!
Looks Good .... Would like to hear it . Just got in ....
Thank you!
Nobel’s odr-1 is a great low gain very transparent overdrive.
Thank you for sharing!
I was waiting for G300 to have finishes other than burgundy and black.
Thank you for sharing!
CORT is a gigantic company. I must have unboxed hundreds of their guitars and basses when I worked in a music store for 16 years, so this was a total flash-back for me. However, I can assure you that I never achieved this level of enthusiasm while unboxing them. I did find them to be serviceable instruments, but did not ever buy one or feel compelled to buy one. I did buy a Cort acoustic for a friend who wanted to learn guitar - and for that purpose, it worked out nicely, because it was inexpensive and playable. I'm not half the guitarist that you are, but I would not even consider buying a Cort electric guitar for my own use.
Thank you for sharing!
Heres the thing , cort has been building All prs se guitars and some other which would be considered top Tier including a head less Everyone is falling over for right now so their quality has really gone way Up and before i saw this vid i walked into a Store and saw this and tried It as It had a nuno vibe - well .. the specs are off the Chart as is the build and if i wrote suhr on It i could multiply the price by 7 times .. this guitar rips .. mind you being human as we are My first focus was to remove the logo just to play with people , Its a 6mm walnut top , African mahogany , rosewood fretboard , carbon fiber neck rods inside the neck , music man style truss rod wheel , 12-15 and a bit compound radius , locking tuners , neck joint is stealth and floating very nice bridge … and that raw wood vibe … the guitar punches way out of its class .. facts … ohh and the jb and jazz Duncan’s … that’s half the cost … I wish I had this as a kid but now is fine too 😉
@@bobbyarthur8809 People fall over for PRS SE guitars because they fall for PRS guitars but can't afford one. How well this is made is kind of moot when there's no Made in Japan Cort or USA select or prestige version to attract people to the brand and guitar in the first place. Many try to say "Cort make PRS" or whatever but the key thing is the PRS guitars that Cort don't make - these are the ones that people would really like to own. The less waxing lyrical reviews of the more mass produced guitars will show you that you're not getting a Suhr and they are flawed compared with more expensive instruments. e.g Phillip McKnight's G300 review certainly makes the guitar seem good value for money but it's not a boutique guitar nor have they been finished and setup.
Whats the difference with g300 pro ?
I only have this guitar!
Oh my word, not you as well, Tomo! This Cort is a nice guitar, isn't it? I do prefer the natural colour over the Glam (?) model with the sparkle burst paint job. The first time I saw it I thought it looked, from the front, a bit like an Ibanez S, then I got to see the sides and thought, ok, this thing is a lot thicker than an S-Series!!!
Actually, I honestly don't understand why Strandberg don't send you one of theirs to try out!
Tomo, what speaker would you recommend if I want a 12-inch guitar speaker SIMILAR TO your signature speaker? It is going in a AA1164 Princeton clone combo. Thanks in advance of any suggestions, or if I should just wait for your next signature speaker? Thank you
Thanks for sharing! Great quality! Eminence Rajun Cajin
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you so much sir! What about speakers at 12-inches?
@@strumminronin you're welcome! Eminence TF-1250 (Based on vintage Jensen C12N
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you!! 🤟
Love ya tomo, but I come for dexter. Love from Kyoto!
Thank you so much! I really miss Dexter! I am heading to KYOTO tomorrow!
BOSS Metal Zone MT-2 is what I use
Awesome!
Interesting, but no more 24 fret fingerboards for me. I have a love/hate relationship with my 90s Parker Fly. I hate 1) 24 frets, 2) tome of the DiMarzios, 3) the super thin neck, 4) the "point" on the upper bout that sticks into the chest, BUT, I love the weight and the weight, the neck width, the neck precision, the ulitmate attention to detail , and overall comfort.
Any reason you don't like the extended range of a 24 fret guitar?
Thank you for sharing!
@@justusb1017 I don't get it too. More is more. I have all my electric guitars 24fret. Excuse me one is half electric acoustic guitar "only" 20frets. It is DeArmond T-400. Best clean sound for jazz and blues.
I'd like to hear some blues from this guitar...
Yes!
Oh no you got a Rocker this time 😎
So great!
Hey, what is the weight of this guitar?
Very light
I want an Omar Lopez Rodrigues signatured music man guitar.
Very small neck.
Thank you for sharing!
04/03/2023: I wrote to the company. They said that they are not making this model now, and do not know if they will make in the future.... I am test a guitar y EART
Thank you for sharing!
reminds me of an AZ
Thanks for sharing!
Schecter MV-6 is similar.
Awesome!
Progressive. Isn't Greg Howe, at least now , considered Fusion?
Yes! Great player
Not once, but twice I tried to buy G300 and it was horrific experience. You wouldn't believe how bad was the quality.
Thank you for sharing!
@@TomoFujitaMusic you're welcome ;)
First time I received one that had misdrilled mounting holes in the neck. I thought that these things just happen sometimes, so I ordered another one.
Second one had:
- huge black knot in the wood of the neck, at the back, around one inch from the heel, it was so bad that there were even pieces of wood filler visible inside,
- electronics backplate was... missing xD
- electronics inside had burned cable insulation because of bad soldering, and the soldering itself was like someone hold the iron for the first time,
- sharp fret ends, because someone missed them...
- ...but in the same time the same person managed to hit the fretboard with the fret file couple times,
- neck paint was just bad, it should be smooth and it was grabbing my hand,
- so badly fitted nut that it was squeeking when using trem arm.
Maybe it had even more problems, but I tried to push that memory out of my head. It was traumatic.
By the way I think that this routing under the bridge is actually a designing mistake. If you just loose the springs you can have two-way trem in any strat-like guitar, and you don't create that big angle where the strings breaks on the nut. And if you just fit any special trem like Vega-Trem, the effects are great.
Thanks for sharing. You should contact them and send this! @@martgryfny
thats a sexy guitar
Yes!
Shipping guitars in tune - not the best idea

Tomo, get yourself a Boss SD-1 overdrive pedal. \,,/,(>
Yes! I love that pedal!
Oh Cripes, I Love this Axe. Now, I have to get one. Now, I have to Scrape Up the Buckeroos. It's Always Something. Getting Lost, and being Hooked, in the 'Equipment Expansion Dilemma', is a way of life for some of us. YUP. BTW, I've looked everywhere and Can't find out How Much$$$$????
