BIlly Joel is an unbelievable singer!!!!
He has so many registers and here his doing a bruce's vocal impression:)
Completely agree. Everyone always thinks of him as being a great songwriter. Which he is. But he gets nowhere near the credit he should purely as a vocalist. He legit could’ve had a second career doing impressions of famous singers. His Bob Dylan is ridiculous. Just like his Paul McCartney and John Lennon. He does Mick Jagger too. And he’s funny as hell.
his voice was still really on point in mid-2000s. it's a pity he didn't release more new songs back then.
Hahaha Oh My God this is sick. Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel and Clarence Clemons. This is fantastic. I always wanted to hear Billy Joel and Springsteen sing together.
Bruce and billy joel cant go wrong here! 2 legends performing TOGETHER LUCKY audience!!
Amazing
Two of the best ever, and yet somehow still both underrated.
Who, how, where and when?
Wow! 😮 Billy going toe to toe with Bruce, both sounding amazing, f ing love it ❤❤❤
Wow! Billy Joel did an "out of body" Bruce-Springsteen singing impression.
The BIG MAN Clarence Clemmons there's no one like him. May he RIP
Wow! His impression was so good I didn’t know Billy was singing until I looked. Crazy
This song is pushing 40 years old and still sounds fresh (if given enough time between listenings). An absolute classic.
This classic song is now pushing 50-years-old.
..and the stars are 60 !

lol love Joel's "imitation" of Springsteen and seeing two of the all-timers jamming together. I really pity kids who can't "get" this music at all
no. we pity idiots like you who will never 'get' kids.
this is so joyful. brings tears to my eyes for my distant youth. wonderful
A great rendition between The Boss and the Piano man. Great concert
When I watch Bruce perform I feel it in my soul
It’s so cool. Billy sounds just like Bruce. This song I always loved, but putting these two living legends together to perform it, takes it right off the charts! This is really epic. Thanks for posting this on UA-cam.
The greatest moment in the history of music
It's pretty good in'nt ? :)
Pretty good..not the greatest though..
Great performance RIP Big Man.
You are Right...I can't differ their voices =) A Great TALENT Billy =) I am a Big Fan
Oh this was amazing! OMG! This closed a 7 hour show! Amazing memories
Now THAT is the way that song was meant to be performed. The grunt from Asbury Park and the weird kid from Oyster Bay
did it up right.
Too bad he's not from Oyster Bay Steve, lol. Try Hicksville.
Haha that's funny
@@bherber Bronx, baby
I enjoyed this immensely ...shows their humanity..
This is the best the boss and the piano man!👍💞
Great! Rock nRoll! Thank you Bruce and Billie!
WHEWWW!!!! Puts me in a great mood. Thanks for posting
Doesn’t get much better than this!!
Rock and Roll ROYALTY right there. Love them both.
My heart is happy
GOT TO LIKE THIS, 2 OF MY FAVORITE ARTIST. JOSEPH PENLEY
RIP Clarence. Rock seriously needs to bring back the Sax.
@Allagi - Well Billy's sax player (Mark Rivera) is pretty good as well. It's a shame this was all Bruce's band & none of Billy's band. A little one sided.
@Niko Ringkauf - Niko, to be fair Bruce has joined Billy's band for a couple Madison Square Garden shows since this concert, so it's all good.
The two TITANS of the tri state area. This was incredible
What a collaboration a such a beautiful song
Two legends
questa non è una semplice canzone questa è un treno che ti entra a tutta velocità nell'anima.
" Grande Billy Joel" 🤟👁️✌️😋😎
Hot damn! I can't believe it's been 36 years since my first 'Bruce' concert, in New Orleans. Whew ...
*¬◊
how cool would it of been if bruce jumped on billy's piano? i'd love to see a full concert of these 2 together
ik you commented this like a decade ago but fun fact, they played a concert together a year before this
Beautiful
The Boss & Billy Joel!!!!!!
Holy lord! I’m blown away! But holy shit, Billy takes my breeze away: he can do it all - the sweet, the nasty, the gushy stuff 😉🤘❤️
Amazing
This brings tears to my eyes. Is there something wrong with me?
Not at all, anyone not moved by this song and brought to tears...needs years of therapy.
Presentes que só a vida dá.
Very good song!!! Big bruce!!
Bravi. Sicuramente Billy e' il più eclettico della musica pop e rock
Legends are We
Okay that was insane!!
Billy joel and bruce Springsteen should make a band called The Big B's!
😂😂😂😂
i could honestly care less about Billy messing up the lyrics. This performance is epic. It totally rocks. I get so amped up throughout the whole thing!! I love Billy....and this made me love Bruce!
+brad phillips Yeah, but how do you forget the words to BORN TO RUN!!! for crying out loud!! LOL Didn't they rehearse this?! Billy looks like he's hanging on for dear life in this performance lol Good stuff though!
Bruce e Billy fantastici!¡Buon natale!!!😅😄😘😘😍😍😍🎸🎷🌟💫🌲⛄🗽
i cant believe i was there
I MARZIANI,sono arrivati,BELLISSIMO
Can't go wrong with our 80s stars.
70er Stars and still going my friend 😊
Show, extraordinário 💕💕💕💕
I enjoyed this performance so much more than I did once I realized that Billy Joel’s piano wasn’t even on and Roy Bittan was behind him actually playing his piano in the dark😂 Its still great to listen to
Será que está apagado ? Cómo pudiste saberlo ?
Billy’s piano was on. Whoever was mixing the sound must have left it out.
It would be nice to see Springsteen do Joel's "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant".
SUPER SONG AND SAXIC - pwcka
now ur talking boss gone yerself .. well done billy .. the boss rocks ❤❤❤
Really Bily's vocal is perfect.....A great talent..how he imitate Bruce's voice =) In one of his masterclasses he was imitateing John Lennon in song "A day in the life"
And he pretty much impersonated Ray Charles on "Baby Grand".
@HanginOutWithCorpses
It´s called "Born to run" and yes,it´s brilliant =)
Am Worried for Bruce.
HUH, GIVE YER HEAD A SHAKE, DORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome is that don Henley on drums great stuff
Es un ícono.
take it easy on Billy jesus people he misses like 2 words then fixes it, they are here to rock not to play perfect.
Wow , it’s like watching Merle Haggard doing his imitations , Great Job Billy !😀
Huh? GIVE YER HEAD A SHAKE, PAL.
I'm young but damn Bruce still looks so hot!!
jersey/nyc rocks
nice one billy
that was phenominal
The official OFFICAL video.
Who disliked this video? I better not catch you out in public,
Billy sucks big time
@@kevinomeara3047 - Kevin - I guess that's why we hear his actual piano playing during a concert, yet with Bruce they turn his guitar way down in the mix because he sucks at guitar, lmao.
@LRP - I didn't dislike, but I'll meet you in public if you'd like. This sucked b/c it was all Bruce's band but none of Billy's band. A little one sided. We can talk more if you want.
Bryan Herber where are you from?
@@LRPFilming PA
Ah yes "The Boss" !!!!
Is that don Henley on the drums what a line up
1:35 Billy forgot the lyrics, and his improvisation (as his voice) got to the limit
But now I want to see Bruce and Billy do 'Until The Night'
Omg ... what's not to like about Springsteen? xx
People - 1:33 - is it my imagination or did Mrs Springsteen linger JUST a bit longer there ...?
Billy only has to do one verse of this song; probably Bruce's most well-known song. And the words are WRITTEN down on the paper in front of him. And he still screws it up. Either he is not really into Bruce's songs. Or he is drunk.
its a Dion song basically
it has dion written all over it
the woahs at the end
pure dion
WOW, U R OLD AND STUNNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell us how you really feel.
Who’s the red head ?
Nothing rocks Madison Square Garden the way this song does :)
LOL - Billy you got to learn the words before you take to the stage!
peskypossum58 there are plenty of videos of Bruce screwing up lyrics. Look up I saw her standing there. Find the one that has a ton of people in it. Billy took the lead and Bruce just forgot the lyrics. It was pretty embarrassing
Steve Amerman
Epic Vid, Truly! … however, neither of you will (ever) catch me politicly … NO, change in HELL! 🇺🇸
Bruce doing windmills like Pete Townsend was ridiculous...good performance though...
The changeable hearing focally bolt because conga electrophoretically invite plus a giddy satin. squalid, needy smile
The fancy society radiologically steer because tax pragmatically afford behind a elfin spaghetti. thin, mute step-brother
Too bad it's all Bruce's band and none of Billy's... A little one sided.
They were the headliners, that's the point
@@ryanwakley1640 - No they weren't, but it's cool. Bruce has joined Billy's band as well since then at the Madison Square Garden shows, so I'm not upset.
@@bherber it was the rock and roll Hall of fame, Bruce was headliner on night 1 and U2 were the headliner on night 2, Billy Joel was a guest, along with Darlene Love, Sam Moore, John Fogerty and Tom Morello if memory serves
@@ryanwakley1640 - I thought there were multiple headliners on each night (?). Night 1 - Crosby, Stills, Nash; Simon & Garfunkle; Stevie Wonder & Bruce. Night 2 - Aretha Franklin; Jeff Beck; Metallica & U2. Billy definitely was a guest, so I correct myself on complaining about the band composition, but I think there were multiple headliners on each night with each headliner having multiple guests.
@@bherber you are correct sir but I always thought the act who closes the night(s) are the main act i.e. headliners, on another note have you seen these two do New York Of Mind from the same show?
ALL RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BOSS AND THE ESTREET BAND AND LOVELY BIG RED - R BACK ON THE ROAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BOYS AND GIRLS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
