    Ahm, lemme see.
    In here, we usually used the word "ano" as filler word or if we're not sure which right word to say.
    Basically, the word "Ano" is a local word for the word "What".. Strange, isn't it? But we're used to it and most likely we knew that it meant if used as filler word.
    We also used western filler words mentioned in this lesson in our daily speech.
    Umm, Thanks for the lesson, Mark! :)

    When I was a student, our physics teacher likes to use the filler words A. In one class, some classmates counted that she said more than 100 A. Later we gave the physics teacher an nickname called Teacher A. In most cases I don’t like filler words because it affects the fluency of language expression.

    Hey, Mark! That was an awesome lesson! Um...uh...actually, we have lots of filler words and sounds in Russian. For example, such vowels like: ah..., uh..., oh..., eh..., nuh... and very many words. A lot of those words are literally swearing words meaning nearly nothing but they are not to be discussed in public. If you are interested in Russian language, I'll be able to send them in private email. Thanks for teaching us! You have a great talent! Take care!

    hmm, eh, ekhm (this imitates cough when you want to cut into conversation or pay sb attention), aaaa (long aa like in mad - you show when you understand what your are told or reminded), ooo (long o like in more, when you express admiration) - that would be interesting linguistic study to compare filler words from different lanugages - you are probably going to figure out that they are very similar, except Chinese of course, they have everything strange :)

    • @MadEnglishTV

    Hi! I was listening carefully to your explanation, and um, I could notice that you said that in Spanish, we use "A" as a filler, but it´s not like "A" what we use.Actually,it´s something like the "e" sound in elephant. I hope that helps!

      Actually, reading Russian is pretty easy. You simply need to learn the Russian alphabet. Mostly we read letters as they are, that's it. Easy-peasy, right?
      Let's practise a little. Shall we?
      "город" (gorod) - means "city"
      "дорога" (doroga) - "road"

    • @MadEnglishTV
      @MadEnglishTV  6 років тому

      Haha, but I'm trying to hard to get popular these days. The problem with me is that I'm an all or nothing person. I can't do anything "part-time". So when I learn Russian, I'm really gonna go for it.
      If the other aspects of Russian are complicated, I'll just learn how to read and forget the rest. 😛
