Such an epic show! I've seen Korn several times and Blind is always fun!
Sevendust has good videos from Woodstock as well!
Lots of bands knocked it outta the park at Woodstock 99. This might be the highest moment though.
Yeah, especially for an intro song. The song itself builds up anticipation, then when it kicks in, the crowd explodes.
It was Limp Bizkits best performance ever also. Seems like even though the event (management wise) was a dizaster, the crowd was still enough to make the bands playing there ascend to godmode.
This has to be one of the greatest live concert intro reactions of all time by a crowd. They went absolutely apeshit when the song kicked in. It's perfect because the song builds up that suspense to a frenzy, then just drives forward with intensity after the famous "aaaarrree you readyyyyyy?" line. There aren't many intros with this intensity. Certainly not nowadays.
Hey there, so in reference to the 'mic stand', there's an article online where it was talked about how Jonathan Davis talked with a guy from Switzerland and asked him to make him a mic stand & he finally received it back in 2001, so yes 2 years after the performance was finished.
I hope you see them, I did 8 months ago. They are still amazing❤
Very nice video friend 👍🔔🇮🇩
Jonathan’s mic stands,he has 4-6 off them, were made by the legendary artist H.R. Geiger who did the aliens in the Alien movies.
I was at this show and t was wild. I was living in Boston at the time and my really good friends buddy was one of the promoters and he really hooked us up with all-access passes. We were on the adjoining stage when Korn came out and when the crowd went nuts we felt like we had vertigo. It was wild. I also partied with Jonathan in LA in 1997-98. Once at the Mondrian hotel, where we were staying. We met at the Skybar which is a part of the hotel and told him to come up to our suite in the hotel after the Skybar closed. Really cool dude. Then about 4-5 months later we played pool with Chino from the Deftones, who are one of my favorite bands, in LA at some club. Nice guys and a very humble dude.
@Tom King sorry u are wrong bout the mic stand's there are only 3 ever made and Jonathan has 2 of them the 3 is in H.R Geigers museum Jonathan said it in a inteview

Seen em 20 years ago with Staind you gotta go they are a beast! Blew the roof off the place as you said life changing. It was everything on the edge of pit people getting their arms broke music loud Af what more could you ask for. Never had it duplicated. If i had died i woulda been estatic as in nothing gonna ever beat this. And so far it ain't. Hoping Rammstein will but aint had a chance to see them. You won't regret it dude.
Kiff bru, can’t beat old school Korn
🤘🤣🤣 Lekker
P.s. they play at the O2 academy fairly often.. seen them there twice
this is also the only good korn as with out david on the drums its just garbage.
