I think there are two main points about this: First, there are such a lot of really awesome or well-loved Zelda titles, so even a zelda title that is not everyones favorite can still be an incredibly good game. Second, I think it has a lot to do with expectations. Coming from the atmosphere, freedom and more realistic art style from twilight princess, some people (including me) expected the next non-handheld title to be more like that. It turned out to be very different. It is like windwaker, which came after ocarina of time and majoras mask and was so different, that a lot of people hated it. To be fair, i liked Skyward Sword when I first played it, but I was also disappointed by some things because they were different than I expected. Now I replayed it after all those years and I liked it more than back when it was released.
Ocarina of time is my most favorite. Too bad that u have to pay extra money just to play it. I’d rather own the game than pay $50 every year just to play it. Might give this game a shot.

so true. havent played this one yet but the other titles are otherworldly.
Wow i've sunk in 20 hours by the time this walkthrough is at the 5 hour mark. My first Zelda game but also Im slow at games.
I've been playing for nearly as long as this video is and I haven't even gotten to the 4th dungeon. This game is a lot longer than I expected. And credit to you for knowing what to do when you need to do it.
He probably played the Wii version before so don’t feel bad
Respect to this guy for being this good at gaming. That’s insane
Thanks 4 this video it brings back memories from when i was 4 and 5 now i am 13 and i will always remember that time in my life thank you for the memories 😢😢😢❤❤❤
Did you beat it?
I dont remember that’s how long ago it was
I have a natural fear of the silent realm. I have finished all of the silent realm things but I’m still scared.😂 I’m at the part where I’m collecting the triforce pieces. Also great job on making a full walkthrough of the game the first day it came out😂
I hate the silent realms ..they give me anxiety
@@lilmisskristy5467 same
The Edin Volcano one gave me the most headache because of that one tear that i had to slide down at 10:27:00 because I keep missing it and I already had them guardians chasing me
This is the only Zelda I haven't played because I don't own a Wii. So glad to see it's on Switch. Will be getting it soon.
Watching video walk-through of a game is way better than reading a walk-through
Thank you so much for your uploading video about the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Who else is loving all these classic games coming to Nintendo Switch?!?! Paper Mario 1000 Year Door in 1 week!
After nearly beating the Egyptian thing and dying at the very end I wanted to smash up my switch lol
?
What Egyptian thing
The fact that it takes over two hours to get to the first temple is insane.
Still enjoying this game anyway. Just started playing this very night.
In the ending Link goes to get his so wanted looooooooong sleep, thats the ending and you cannot change my mind.
What?
Are you referring to when he wakes up in breath of the wild and that is the continuation?
@@joshuaaaron7095 to be fair Link almost always wakes up from a long ass sleep in every Zelda game.
@@Trollseeder ya actually that is true! Ha ha I didn't think about that I just realized that from OOT as well, though only one I can think of that he doesn't is majoras mask.
@@joshuaaaron7095 Tbh, BOTW doesnt match any timeline of LOZ game.
I'm 100 years old now playing this. "You perked my interest".
Fun fact: the Loftwings are actually based on the real life bird, the Shoebill Stork, in Africa 🐦.
Those are some crazy birds.
Thank you so much! You’ve really helped me out in spots in the game where I had no clue what to do!
That Demise fight was ridiculously cool, hilarious, and fast!!! Awesome content as always BeardBear!
i rewinded it like 10 times it was so good. everything ab it was 🤌🏽
Thank you!!! I was having a hard time figuring out where to go because the walls where you have to throw bombs aren’t obvious at all.
Thank you SO much for this. Im up to Earth Temple. If it wasn't for you I would be sitting here with a game I can't play
New to Zelda..63 year old..feel like a boss now cos of your walkthrough. Bless you 🎉😊❤
This is just plain amazing I have no words except THANKYOU!
Oh and my lizard thanks you too because he has to hear me screaming bloody murder a lot less.😂
Just completed the game after 13 years,
I've always dreamed about continuing my progress since I was a child who couldn't continue in the story because of the lack in my english skills as well as I couldn't find help where to continue the missions or where to go,
Thanks so much Mr. BeardBear for guiding me to complete the Story of this great game, Have a great life.
You know, I used to dislike this game, but after playing Zelda, breath of the Wild, and ignoring Tears, I really wouldn’t mind another one in this style. Traditional Zelda is the best.
It really is. And the fact that Nintendo confirms they are not going back to traditional 3D Zelda games. At least they went out with a banger of a story though I’m still not a fan of the motion controls but who the hell cares.
No I don't know
@@artagle_14when did they confirm that?
thanks so much for this man! I'm doing a series of oil paintings for a school project and this helped so much!!
9:43:15 my favorite boss in Zelda skyward sword HD
I’ve finished this masterpiece in 40 hours, and he did 100% in 16h, u re a real monster man
Well it’s gonna be a lot faster if you’ve played the game before/know what to do beforehand compared to your first playthrough
lmao Ghirahim is such a dramatic bastard I freaking love it.
His dance ritual at the very end always gets me
6:20:35 Link remembering Zelda's singing is a huge serotonin boost ong
Great walkthrough! Really helped me A LOT
Love this so much, perfect for watching in the background while studying aswell!
Nice shirt
Thank You for making this video i used to love this game and still do but i can't play it anymore because the disc got scratched and this makes me to watch after not being able to play such an awsome Game ❤️
Thank you for this playthrough! Im only as far as fighting Scaldera but im really enjoying it!! As someone whos only new to the Zelda franchise this playthrough is helping me out a lot!!
"Nice going, you two. You guys were totally amazing in this little adventure I like to call the Legend of Groose" 😂
Lol
I remember trying to play this as a kid and I just could never bring myself to get further than the entrance to waterfall cave, it just creeped me out too much
This game is a feast for the ears and mind.
6:01:49 y'all know this is one of the most funniest moments in the whole damn game omg lmao 🤣
I am so happy that Nintendo released this game to the switch. It's my most favorite zelda game along with Twilight princess. I had 2 pack up my Wii and wiiu so that I can hook up the switch. So I missed playing those 2 games. I hope that Nintendo will release Twilight princess one day. Go zelda
I just bought this game I am a 37 year old husband and father of two I will be following along as I do not have time to spend hours figuring something out. Thank you for this!
I remember my parents playing this one when I was very young. 😊 The village music in the beginning brought so much nostalgia, but in a good way! 😁
OMG SAMEEEEE
I’m currently playing the game for the first time since I never played skyward sword before this video is really helping me every time I don’t know what to do next or when I’m getting stuck thank you bro
You forgot to throw the cat off the island when you go inside the statue of the goddess in skyloft at night.
It's only 99.99999% complete with out it.
U were a life saver and also I'm so glad I got the hylian shield it would had been hell if I didn't have it at the final boss
God damn, you beat Demise so easily 🤣
It took me 10 tries to get him...
I just want to say, well done! Skyward sword is by far, not an easy game, especially trying to control the wii remote. But you did such a great job! Nice work!
Dude I just subscribed 16 hours wow dude so much respect for you I subscribed and liked the video I’m playing this game on my switch right now and I’m loving every moment of it
This dude I’m sure played though the whole game on the wii like 15 times he beat the final boss in like 5 minutes
Thanks for the video! I'm bad at video games but I love playing them so this helped a lot.
Same
This helped so much! Thanks Bear Bear! ; )
The intro's a bit different. I remember Link falling into the teeth of the imprisoned in his dream rather than seeing Zelda's Loftwing and hearing Fi's voice.
Wait .. they didn't do that?!
Just finsihed watching this video over the course of a week. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to after some really long days.
