The music in Zelda and Mario games (and quite a few others) were composed by a man called Koji Kondo.
I'm not using hyperbole when I say the man is a musical and composition genius.
His ability to incite emotion and make you suspenseful or happy or sad in short tunes all the way to full few-minute-long compositions is unequalled in any field.
There are times, playing Zelda, I've felt close to crying and looking back, what I remember is the music.

I think there are two main points about this: First, there are such a lot of really awesome or well-loved Zelda titles, so even a zelda title that is not everyones favorite can still be an incredibly good game. Second, I think it has a lot to do with expectations. Coming from the atmosphere, freedom and more realistic art style from twilight princess, some people (including me) expected the next non-handheld title to be more like that. It turned out to be very different. It is like windwaker, which came after ocarina of time and majoras mask and was so different, that a lot of people hated it. To be fair, i liked Skyward Sword when I first played it, but I was also disappointed by some things because they were different than I expected. Now I replayed it after all those years and I liked it more than back when it was released.

What's wrong with anticipating the guide he was inevitably going to release? All I said was it’s kind of lame to buy a $60 game and literally just watch someone play it instead of playing it yourself and if you get stuck then look it up. It’s clear though that you and your son aren’t smart enough to play a Zelda game without a guide xD
