- Back driving the MINI Challenge race car, this time at Rockingham for some further training prior to my races in the series. To continue teaching me the ropes in the car, I'm joined by Charlie Butler-Henderson, 2015 champion in the series and also a current driver.

I know this is random, but I really miss the 675lt coupe.. that color was one of a kind, it was stunning!
anz g yeah I agree I watched an old video today and I was just like wow!! What a amazing color the coupe was!! (Well still is just in someone else's driveway)
Perry Watkins QThe colour wasn't one-of-a-kind, it was Cereleum Blue. His Spider has a one-of-a-kind colour. Although I agree the Coupe had a better spec.

One of the things I love about road racing is they don't care if it's wet. Great fun but there is definitely a lack of visibility at times. Glad you were able to bring the car back around without any issues this time Tim :-)

That is what you think after watching the video, since a video will never saw the sheer intensity of the driving... Come over to one of the races and then join us in the pits, I hope that will give you a more direct insight how much I am pushing that MINI in my 2nd race ever! Oh and unfortunately I forgot to include the smoke coming of the rubber and brakes after one of my sessions. :)
When I went on a passenger ride in a lotus Elise it went round the track layout you took and it's amazing to see the speed you can make up on the short sections between corners

Personally something like this is very exiting for me as it shows how good a driver he is in Motorsport terms of speaking and he will do his more usual content which is obvious but he is trying to cater to his fans that do enjoy the Motorsport side of cars as well as the luxury cars and super sports cars for the road

Had the chance to join drivers in a stripped and tuned Golf V and Westfield during a sponsor's day once. I kinda forgot about the rudimental rawness it had. It's basically an industrial effort, there's hardly any elegance/finesse, but that's what kinda makes it kickass! Also didn't think tracks would have such a difference in elevation throughout the course... and then there was all the traffic around you. There's a lot that goes into racing, really fun to follow this journey of yours. Go go go! 😀
What? Shmee has more followers in Instagram than in UA-cam? I didn't know people was more interested in photos instead of videos.... Where's the 675LT? I wanna see it in action again!!:D

lonewolf5460 That's kinda rude, he may not be ready to compete just yet, but the only way how you can improve in driving is to practice - push yourself to the limit and overcome it and train hard. Nobody is born with such skill, but if you have the motivation, you can gain it.
Meanwhile we are all waiting for lonewolf5460 to show off his capabilities in a race car... ;) :P

Alexander Barr how these lower levels (and indeed most higher levels) work is that you pay to be in the car, but are allowed by the team to place any personal sponsors on the car, and the sponsors pay the drivers. my guess is shmee isn't bothered about the sponsors and is happy to just pay for the experience
