To tell the truth, the one I liked the most was The Publican, it has an interesting menu with dishes that look delicious, without a doubt it would be the one I would choose when eating in restaurants in Chicago.
To answer the first question of this video.. A safe environment!.. until y'all clean up the crime in the area I will never come back. I really miss the steak houses, the the Italian sandwiches, the pizza, the Irish pubs and Wrigley Field.

Was anyone born and raised in Chicago city limits asked to participate in this list of best restaurants or is everyone a transplant. One maybe two places are worthy of being on here. I remember being with my Mother and Father over 25 years ago at restaurant on Taylor street when food critics would show up at a restaurant to critique the food and an older women with an accent approached the gentleman who was a food critic (he was a local Chicago guy with a local Chicago newspaper) and said her family has passed down recipes for generations and there was no way he was going to critic anything good or bad and he was asked to leave. I wish there were more people left on this earth like that lovely older woman.
The gastronomy in each restaurant is very good, neither the quality nor the variety is disputed, perhaps the difference is in the ambiance, as in the case of The Publican, which offers a home-like atmosphere, while the Lure Fisbar Chicagfo is more formal, perhaps oriented towards tourists or with a more international tone.
