Next time when you make a thank you card grid. When making your first rectangle! Insert your thank you card template also. That way, when you make your grid your thank you template will be lined up perfectly with the rectangle. That way you don't have to monkey around readjusting your thank you card template. Hope this helps. Thanks again for all your videos.

As a new owner and laser user, these have been the absolute BEST videos! I would LOVE to see you make one about cutting with different wood materials at 1/8" and 1/4". Not having specs to start from (and aren't in the LB library) would be so helpful!!

Hey thanks very much! I am happy they are helpful. I have done earlier videos with settings for 1/8" Baltic Birch and will try to get some out for 1/4". Thanks again - all the best!

Good afternoon Gord. That was a great video, really turned out great just like you wanted. I know you're going to try to squeeze the extra line of 5 more cards in and have them all perfect. Good luck , I know you'll get it done. Fred.

Here are a few things to try that will help your workflow. The reason your origin changed location was because you had "Use Selection Origin" checked, so the origin locartion moved inward to the selection. However, if you use absolute coordinates instead of user coordinates when you create your template, every time you reload the template into the machine, the origin will always be the same as long as you place the MDF in the same location (top, left of honeycomb, etc.). When you run your project make sure Absolute Coordinates is selected and you won't need to set the origin and risk it being off a bit. Also, when using the array tool, you could have input the dimensions to dial it in, you don't have to rely on the preset dimensions provided by using the arrow keys. I would have input .6 and seen how that fit and adjusted from there.
I'm pretty new to all this as well, but I think these tips will help you. Keep learning.

Hi G.P. That was fantastic. I really enjoyed the tutorial even though I probably will never use it. One question is there any maintenance that needs to happen on your machine. I’m looking forward to seeing the next part of the project. Thanks for having us along

Good day Ronald. Thanks! Minimal - I just clean the mirrors and focal lense about once a week - about 10 mins and every month or so I clean out the fan blades and grill from the cooling fans. Have a great week!
