I just want to say I appreciate you and your hard work on these animations. I teach piano and since I found your channel, I have been recommending it to my students anytime it's remotely appropriate. These animations have really helped me understand the pieces I played in a way that nothing else could. Thank you for what you do! ❤️
Ah! Another Master Piece from you! Nice idea, to give every violinist its own track! In this way, it is even more clear to follow what part of the score is played by what violinist. I do have a question, though. Is the harpsichordist only playing notes that are played by the violinist, or does he play some notes none of the violinists are playing? In any case, the harpsichord has such a low volume compared with the violinists, that I do not hear what he is playing anyways. Again. Great work, Stephen!

I think of it being like if the score was on a cylinder, so that it's nearly flat in the middle (closest to you), and angled away at the edges (as it goes around the back).
Absolutely splendid.
Each day,
Each week,
Each month,
Bach remind us who is the boss.
Thank you for your sharing Smalin
4:33 - 5:03 love how the cello suddenly gains prominence here with those gruff notes
2:28 I love the visuals of that part!
Fantastic. Perfect ending to my evening.

Is there a piece you would have used a video for if there'd been one, but there wasn't?
This has a special place in my heart, only because it was one of the first of the Brandenburg Concertos I heard when I was 13.

I'm exactly the same with the 4th concerto. But arguing which of the two is better is impossible, to be honest
One of my all-time favorite pieces I have ever played
I love it

Would love to know how many 'da-ba-dams' were used for the first movement

I've been subscribed for more than 10 years, and you still put out wonderful masterpieces. Thank you so much!
The second movement is even shorter than usual :P
Wow, 3:44 is the most amazing part visually.
I like this, all the notes are holding hands.
Love color
This new aesthetic is great, so polished!

Maravilloso!! Muchas gracias por la experiencia. Además su uso educativo es extraordinario. Saludos desde Andalusia.
Absolute beauty 💕💕
3:47 That modulation...
I just realized the parallax effect at the end of the screen (most apparent on the left) is meant to be like flipping through a page?

Where is the 2nd segment?
Bach did not write one --- he left it up to the performers to improvise.
Exactly! Where's the 2nd movement?

Absolutely my favorite piece of music!
The eight note runs are the best
