  • The Ukrainians have launched a counteroffensive to Russia's new counteroffensive in Kursk crossing the Russian border in a new location to advance on Glushkovo. The United States refuses to allow Ukraine to use Western donated long range weapons on the territory of Russia and it all has to do with the November election here in the America.

    Russia is attacking Ukraine with Iranian ballistic missiles, Iranian Shahed drones and North Korean ballistic missiles and artillery shells. Yet he has the gall to warn the US not to allow Ukraine to defend itself with NATO-made precision weapons. I can only hope that Ukraine will make it's own analogs and use those. What an embarrassing ally.

    It is beyond outrageous that ONE man (Jake Sullivan) in ONE NATO country can veto the U.K.'s decision to supply its own missiles to Russia. Russia should consider giving Jake Sullivan one of their highest honors, like the Order of St. George, for Sullivan's unflagging service to the Russian Federation.

    • @AndrewJohnson-n3m
      @AndrewJohnson-n3m 4 дні тому +4

      because if you were found out Russia and the US public would just view it the same as aiding them with missiles directly. The risk isn't worth the reward.
      If Ukraine develops their own native missile indep(with American support)endently Russia can't get mad. On the other hand it gets mad can't escalate because of the risk the US could just give Ukraine better missles. The point is we need to hold things over Russia to keep them under control and keep them from escalating and randomly attacking things.

    For those who don't understand Russian, here's a translation from the final video about the prisoner swap of 103 Russian prisoners for 103 Ukrainian prisoners is in a tweet by a Ukrainian, Dmitro Mikhailenko. The tweet says "D. Karpenko "gladdened" Russian prisoners returning to their native gulag. All are draftees". The speaker, D. Karpenko, talking to the Russian returnees, asks, "Did all of you receive medical treatment?" The returnees answer, "Yes." He continues, "Do any of you have any complaints about your captivity?" "No," the prisoners answer. Karpenko continues, "Do you know what is waiting for you back in Russia?" The prisoners mutter, "No." "Not at all?" the speaker asks. "They didn't tell us," one of the young draftees replies. "The speaker says: "What awaits you is the FSB (Secret police) and criminal charges for surrendering and getting captured." The soldiers sit, downcast and silent.
    He's probably right. Russia will not greet her returning POWs as heroes. They will be treated like traitors, because Russia is a soul-sick country led by a psychopath whose psychopathy has become instantiated in Russia's institutions and culture. These poor bastards realize that they are better off as POWs in Ukraine than returning to Russia.

The same in reverse regarding the other side. Chicken and egg, who started it? Impossible to say, it's a continuous process that has been cooling off and heating up for decades, actually almost a century. It started before most were born and will end after everybody alive today will be dead mostly of natural causes.

    I think that if Russia declares war on the US because of allowing longer range weapons then we should tell Putin if he does we will have to declare war on Iran, China and North Korea because they are providing weapons to Russia to bomb Ukraine, So before he declares war on US he should discuss this with the countries that provide him with weapons if they want war declared on them by the US and other Nato Countries. I think they would all shut Putin down!

      I want to say thank you to you Sir, for whatever you did in the services. Both of my grandfathers were in WWII... one in the Pacific, and one in Eastern front. I know less about my Grandfather in the East becasue he died when I was 4. But from what I learned in the last days before my Dad passed, he was neck deep in the German front (I think it was after Normandy but I don't know for sure). He just didn't talk about it. My Mom's side Father, who I knew well, was in a full body cast for 9 months in NYC after a torpedo net fell on him, while stationed on his cruiser in the Pacific. He had a broken back in NYC, with a wife and kids back in WI. But to quote him, from MY perspective OF HIM, "I'll be damned if he wasn't one of the best men I ever knew!" There was no place safer than sitting next him on a couch watching westerns or WWII movies, at my Grandparents house, late night when every one else wanted to go to sleep, but we wanted to stay up and hang out. There weren't may words spoken. All that needed to be said was obvious., I learned soooo much just by being around him, and watching him. He is to this day, either the first or second best man I have ever known, period.
      Those of us who have done our homework, will NOT allow the freedoms you fought and died for, to be taken for granted. I think you would be very proud to know, Sir, that shortly after russia invaded Ukraine, and putin revealed his true intentions for a repeat of 1939 to the world by overtly invading Ukraine, that over 200K of us around the world, from over 50 different countries, have united as citizens who value life and freedom, to directly fight against russian propaganda in social media, and also to help fund and arm Ukraine in their fight for their long term independence. I cannot tell you how many times I wondered if I was putting my time in the right place. And then I thought of you, and your friends, and my grandfathers, and their wives who held down the home fronts, and everything you all gave for us, and all I could hear after that was my Grandfather saying "thatta boy kid".
      Believe it or not, there are still men in this world and we will NOT allow people like hitler or putin to succeed becasue we believe in freedom for all, and especially for the freedom of our girlfriends, or wives or children, to be lived WITHOUT the threat of bombs falling on them.
