I have been told I have a tear in above the centre of the hamstring. But I'm getting a tearing and pulling sensation at about the ischial tuberosity point yiure attaching from. I'd better get it checked out otherwise the tape could be hurting that too. Ugh. Great video. Another one I saw had shorter tape at both ends. And just two strips.
I have a hamstring detachment up high by the middle of the gluteal fold. Could you do a video for that? I've been thinking about putting a piece of K tape horizontal in that area. Would that help?
Son has 1.5 strain. Dr. Took X-rays and confirmed he has hip mobility issues and hamstrings are not equal in strength so he has to do unilateral training to equalize strength
Really good vid. I have not had much luck in the past with tape adhering to tape. Is a certain line of KT Tape or another brand better at sticking to itself?
there’s 4 if you think about the muscle heads.. 1st semitendinosus, 2nd semimembranosus and 3rd biceps (which divides itself in 2 heads, short and long head)
Why those people who workout hamstring and do running activities are much more prone to hamstirng injury even if they work with lightest load. But those people who never trained hamstring and ran for all these years they had zero problem .why is it so??
@@Liyaa__mi If u keep using quadriceps etc yea it gets tired but its not prone to injury. But for hamstring it gets injured very very easily. But dont know why .
It's an overused (wear and tear) issue for athletes. That's what my doctor explained. When we use our hamstring for sports, our hamstring works much in absorbing the impact.
Running is hamstring centric. You need strong hammies otherwise you will develop knee issues. Cycling is quad centric. You need big strong knee muscles to be able to sprint fast.
Thanks a lot, really helpful ☺️
You're welcome 😊
sooo much better than the other application vids I found, thanks!
You're welcome!
I had a slight strain today thanks for this will try this for tomorrow’s trial.

So comprehensive explanation and easy to practice 🎉
Do you reccomend this taping for a distal bicep femoris tendonopathy support for return to sport?

Tough one that if it’s an avulsion
Thanks for the video very informative
Glad it was helpful!
My hamstring keeps on pulling, how canni orevent that?
If you haven’t tried Strengthening I would start there, and also look at all the factors, including hip strength, and, control

Curious as to if the pain was at the ischial tuberosity attachment, how would u tape that?
Very similar - start a bit higher up and then 100% tension over the proximal attachement
Ahhhh I’m gonna give a try. Thanks!

There are 4 hammies?? You are wrong?
No he's right... Hams is a group of muscles
There are 3. You can Google that.

So you still stretch it at 80% even though the muscle is already stretched?
Hi can Someone recover from hamstring tendinopathy n go back to sports like football
Yep, totally possible

I’m a gymnast, it happens because muscles are tired of using them all the time, they need time to rest

@@abdulraziq98 I have my hamstring injured every 2 months due to my gymnastics training. I have no time to rest them just like most athletes.

I guess that tape won't work for a hairy guy like myself. For her its okay, she shave her legs.
You may need tape adherent spray if you’re quite hairy
