Just some food for thought that a viscious coupler fan (which I believe yours i but I'm not all that familiar with jeeps) needs to be stored upright and if laid on its side for prolonged periods of time can cause it to fail which is what I personally think happened with yours while you were rebuilding the jeep. Can't wait to see this thing finished!
Any chance you could do a segment in one of the jeep videos breaking down the total cost? I’d love to know I’m re doing a 03’ ram and I get they are very different vehicles but any type of ball park would be appreciated
@@gasNmudtv nah the frame is almost perfect. I’ve already done entire front end, needs the 4.7 rebuilt or replaced. Has some minor rust that needs addressed. And paint work. Again I understand it’s a very different project than the Jeep restoration but I am curious to what the average person will/would spend restoring something not super old
I had a squeaky sound come from the front of my engine. Changed the idler pulley still had the squeak. Check all the other pullies they were find. Changed the serpentine belt no more squeak. Read that if coolant gets on your belt it can mess it up. The old belt was only 2 years old but I did spill some coolant on it and it ruined the belt. When you inspected the belt it looked fine but the coolant leaves a film that can't be seen with the naked eye. And over time it will cause the belt to squeak.
Taking the belt off to verify the noise is from a driven item is helpful. Then using a stethoscope to narrow it down.
my man the best accomplishment is when the finish product is working!!! amazing work!
Glad all is getting better for you and hats off to your dad for sure! You're lucky to have him.👍
You’re always gonna get people saying “you should’ve done this and that” but great job man! Hard work pays off, enjoy that ride!
Keep up the good work. Luving the channel so far!

"I'm gonna light it on fire if the noise isint fixed" 😂😂
It's a jeep it will never be perfect. 😂😂😂😂
Great video! Keep em coming! You have a nice lil recipe for success with this video format.
Great job man, glad to see this Jeep brought back to life. I always enjoy your content!
Congratulations on the first drive. Viscosity coupler on the fan is a likely culprit of your noise. Great to see your progress. Congratulations again!
Great job, can’t wait to see the rims on
I needed all of this information, good video
I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler after rebuilding the engine few months later I have a noise just like that and I figured it out. It was the fan clutch.😢
Love it. 🔨🤘🏻😎 Congratulations.
Hi bud if you take the belt off and see if you still have a noise it could be alternator under load try this it takes only a minit to check
Is Keith sponsoring you? You wear his shirts often. LOL
Plasmadip rims!

Depends on the materials you use and how much is needed to be replaced. Doyou need to swap or repair the frame??

You're brave to use an abrasive magic eraser on wheels.
my down stream 02 sensor is welded into the catalitic converter

I did all the exact same things and it was the brand new alternator on mine
get ntk o2 sensors only for tj jeeps - tjs have various issues thrown by bad o2 sensors sending shitty 5v signal to other sensors.
The wheel seller probably used cheap spray paint to make it look good for sale. Your have to bring it up to your standards.
I have diamond cut rims with bad clear coat. Pain in the ass to easily fix.
Drill holes in the frame for drainage!
Use new body mounts!
Easy way to get the code- turn the key three times (without actually starting it) and the odometer will light up with any codes.

Bet its the alternator
Really should have taken the center caps out to paint the wheels
See you battle with the noise , you should have get a mechanic stethoscope
Bro says it drives like it’s brand new but the alignment is way off 😂
How can the frame be so bad with only 30,000 miles? Must have never been washed.
It was a snow plow jeep, those things get eaten up quickly
Ah, I see
Are you ready to sell the F350 yet?$?$?

Bruh never take mechanical advice from people who know they’re dumb for buying Amazon China junk parts esp O2 sensors and still do it anyway
I'm sorry for saying this, but it takes a real "special" person to take an untested newly finished vehicle for a ride with no seat belt.
I assume you mean special because he obviously grew up in an environment that didn't require bubble wrap, bicycle helmets, and participation trophies.
My first test drive normally involves no seat and a milk crate. Ratchet strap if I’m feeling iffy!
@@ViralPyxl Gen X no bubble wrap here but when you get old you get intelligence that wasn't there when I was young and dumb.
My Motorcycle didn’t come with a seatbelt so there!😂
It's the alternator
Waste of time restoring that Jeep. Its a very undesirable automatic transmission.
