Why in the heck would she tape and paint around the handles? No no no! Just remove them it's not hard and looks so much better!

There is a paint shields online you can buy for a couple of bucks , just make sure it’s not too big to fit inside the panels, you can buy different sizes.
Or home made if you can’t wait for delivery, you might have material thin and solid to work perfect for the job around the house, best that your design only to do one side and not all 4 sides as it won’t fit perfect for each panel no matter what.
My downfall on my homemade template - inappropriate material around the house, what I had made was too thick and wasn’t working out so good, I was painting white over brown I needed a good tight finish. I ended up taping around each window panel and it took far far too long, that’s 2 doors x 2 sides remember. Then pulling the tap off I noticed the line wasn’t as perfect as it could be.
What about windows with bars? Any experience with those?

too much work here..remove door, take outside, .insert thin contact paper into each window pane, spray paint door.. remove paper - done!

Bill Wells shows he's the stuphidistt person here, HD has Glidden , thats where I bought my Glidden paint from.... dearie! Bill is secondarily dumb as, he doesn't know Behr is only HD's house brand paint.
