I heard Alistaire Crooke answer the question about why Hezbollah wasn’t impacted by the exploding pagers and walkie talkies. He said that Hezbollah is divided into a military wing and a civilian branch. It’s the civilian branch, composed of people like policemen and hospital workers, who use pagers/walkie talkies not the fighters.

Don't worry about his predictions, they have been consistently wrong from the start in Ukraine where he first predicted the invasion wouldn't happen, and then that Putin would soon win... The same is unfolding in Israel. His problem is his age which ties him to a theory of great powers that worked somewhat back in the days of the Soviet Union, but not today. There are only one superpower and then there is China... But China is constrained by the need to sell stuff to the west, so it can't act like a global superpower, only as a regional power which it certainly does. And even that role is proving costly to Xi who more or less defined his leadership trough a vision of regional dominance and global assertiveness - now, if that fails, as the Chinese economy could indicate it will, Xi is probably finished. Then Putin's finished too and Mearsheimer can talk of his great power puzzle but no one will listen.

If you look at the map of what the Zionists wanted for their state at the start, it included large part of Lebanon and Jordan. Actually completely ignorant and unintelligent analysis. Israel is fighting Hezbollah because they want to destroy Israel and are bombing them for a year. Mearsheimer prefers Jews live in bomb shelters their whole lives. And it's amazing how Israel wants to cleanse Palestinians so badly and their populations keep going up. I guess that's why Israel cleansed Jews out of Gaza to give to Palestinians-all as some grand plan to take over Gaza and Lebanon etc I guess.
Lastly, they don't clear for publication the deaths of soldiers until the families are informed. I know, horrible. But Israeli media reported on the deaths plenty.
Maybe they could be as straight forward and uncensored as media around Israel which always tells the truth.

Looking back over the last year, nothing will bring back those who have died, and nothing can undo the agony people have been living through. Looking forward, all those involved in this conflict must do more to prevent further suffering.

1. Arab and Muslim population has increased like crazy in Israel, as opposed to the states around Israel that everyone is fine with that have actually expelled their Jews completely. Israel cleansed JEWS from Gaza in 2005 for "peace." They had no desire to go back into Gaza.
2. Hezbollah, under last ceasefire agreement, was required to not re-arm on Israel's border. They have re-armed and sent rockets at Israel despite Israel not attacking them. They have over 100k rockets aimed at Israel and tunnels dug from Lebanon into Israel. The people in the north will not return under a same ceasefire agreement that Hezbollah has violated while they openly want to destroy Israel and have tunnels dug into Israel to commit their own October 7th. Israel's goal is to ideally disarm this terrorist organization or getting them 25 KM from their border according to the previous agreements. Otherwise they are basically making the North of Israel Uninhabitable.
3. He basically says Israel shouldn't fight terrorists who openly strive for their destruction because they can't be defeated. Well, lying back and waiting for them to arm themselves while they plan to attack you is not a strategy Israel is willing to accept anymore. While you can argue America didn't win war in Afghanistan, you might feel different if Al Qaeda was on your border shooting rockets at you and you were able to decimate them for decades.
