Having peace of mind (the safety aspect) is priceless. It's good you still feel the same. I spoke with real estate agents who were originally from the UK, and they also tell me they could never go back. The thing about Dubai is it's always changing too, I mean new things or places shops etc. Actually, even if you for example shop in Carrefour weekly, you always see they have different displays/things for sale. In the UK, it tends to be the same things most of the time. The last time I was in Dubai wasn't stable (I wasn't planning on staying in that job), so I didn't enjoy it as much, it was too busy. Next time (God willing) it'll be different, because after comparing, I still couldn't think of which city is better.
