- The Prius. A name synonymous with being both good on fuel and also being the most boring car ever... Another very ecofriendly car is the Honda insight. The first generation got amazing mileage, and looked pretty cool too!
both of those cars are awfully inefficient compared to the big dog of hypermilers. The Volkswagen XL1 got 240MPG (US) thanks inpart to its hybrid diesel engine, space age tech construction and wacky aerodynamic looks.
Well all those cars were great. Until we created this...
Today we build the highest MPG car ever. And its uuhhh Terrible..

Make a sports car from 1899
idea from The Thicc German, what if you made a giant semi truck motor, like a 20 liter v10?
@@highway6358 Do it again, like the rest of us.
It definitely has some “sporty” potential
“This car is eco friendly”
Has no catalytic converter
Lol
Maybe he meant economy and not ecosystem.
I mean did you see how far he came with only 1 liter of fuel?
@@Steinersgarage No kidding. That's less overall emissions. Less fuel burnt is better than more fuel burnt, especially at such amounts.
@@dreadnoughtprime6301It's about NOx
It has literal 0 safety features and stuff, but yet it's the safest car you could get just because it's low top speed and ultra light weight
unless someone drives a 150k pound limo truck at it at 20 mph, and little tikes care dissolved.
Going fast is perfectly safe however suddenly coming to a stop kills…
@@waxenvittharr6415 true thats why driving slower is safer bc less g's when coming to a dead stop by slaming against a wall
Well that’s true except for the weight part
Dies the light weight make it safe? I guess if you hit a pedestrian

I think it means REALLY economical
@@zackarnold6858 in this case that is possible....
Adjust your gear ratio so you can travel at a higher speed at the same rpm and it should improve your mpg even more. Banging off the rev limiter at 50kph isn't as efficient as running 70kph or more at the same rpm.
was thinking the same thing
I think yeah if it was idling along at 70kph it would be more efficient.
I think I've heard that a 4-stroke is about most efficient at 2500rpm and full load. so if you can get the top gear ratio to be at 2500rpm when the car power equals drag that ought to be most efficient for its shape
@@TheJunky228 It depends on the platform. V8 V6 I6 I4 all have different powerbands.
@@matthewmorgan582 And different BSFC.
Idling with max load is not the most efficient.
If the automation devs add rotary and configurable (AWD, RWD, FWD) electric engines i promise i'll play 10000 hours of automation

Could you do like a gigantic semi with a BIG engine? Like, a 20 liter V10 or somethig?
Yeah but a looooooooong one like 10 cargo or something
@@creeplickitaOFFICIAL i think you are talking about trailers here
that would be a great idea
I think the biggest engine you can build in this game is 16+ litre V16 which is pretty realistic sized engine for a semi-truck.
20 l. V10 sounds like something Tatra would build for their military trucks
16 liter I6

Karen Komander is sad...
Easy. Huge engine, low compression, extremely rich AFR, knock, and for the most part, you've got yourself a gas guzzler lol.

Shhhh. It's science

You need to make the best fuel economy car while been able to archive 150mphs.
150mpg at 150mph?
So for example, this car he made makes 500mpgs but only tops 50kph, I what see what's the best fuel economy he can get while traveling 150mph.
@@markcastillo1934 I understood what you were saying. I just though that 150mpg at 150mph would be a nice title and therefore also a goal.
@@karlkukk7080 yea a good video too.
I've made one that reaches 160mph with the GM EV body and does 77 UK mpg
This channel is so underrated, you deserve more subs. Keep up the good content brother
Very nice video dude
Why doe you have less than 20k subs tbh u deserve 200k subs
I could name at least 20 people who deserve more subs, and Rye is definitely one of them.
16.65 minutes 0 to 60!! Awesome! That’s a complete race car!
This is art from Another world
new video, new theme, new experience
So basically... this car goes about half as far with 1 L then my VW up with 30 L ... well my car doesnt cost 5mil tho so i guess i get what i payed for
As extreme as this thing is, I can learn some MPG tricks for my own cars. Planning to do an hypermiler too, at a more reasonable price.
I love this. Thanks for sharing
Can you make a Super Chamber Car LOL @TwinTurBros
The front reminds me of an early 2000’s prelude lmao
No mention of the Civic VE? That thing outperformed the Prius without any hybrid systems AND still managed to be a light, nimble, "slow car fast" sporty hatchback.
Well, damn. Never knew I could break automation this good.
Considering that this probably has a good drag coefficient, then you should make it a hyper, hyper miler.
It's actually an 80s body but ok
Honestly, at 50kmh aerodynamics don't play much of a role at all
I wouldn't even know where to begin with building an efficient vehicle. I've been so used to building vehicles for a specific purpose, or racing cars.
I've made the best hypermiler that I ever did, but it's not triple-digit-MPG, of course, but it's easily 60 MPG! With a turbo'ed I3. But it looks compliant with the US 55 MPG mandate for within some years down the road!
Do the inverse: lowest MPG
Automotiveflux did this already
Hey man! do you think it would be possible for us to get a list of the mods you're using? Thanks!
I actually think it looks amazing. I really miss the OG insight
Me: i want it to have 50 mpg
TwinTurBros: yes
ahh its that time of the year again when i finally refuel my car.
Power: like 10 horsepower
fuel efficiency: y e s
Did you put 70 buhzillion psi into the tires lol? It helped on my old peugeot 1.5d with skinny space saver wheels around. Ive actually done this stuff in real life haha!
Make the most advanced car from the 80’s but having to be cheap. Like a fierro or the corvettes. Everything was cool futuristic tech and crappy quality
What is the drag strip map that you use?
hey. do you have the stream where you tested out fan hillclimb cars? i want to show someone the car i made
edit: i saw your discord account was deleted what happened?
"who needs safety if the car was slow"
This looks like a honda insight if it were ever a supercar
I need to get this game just so I can remake this, but up the RPM limit, give it better gearing, and a useful top speed for the US. Basically take your hyper mile concept and make a "real" version. Compromise the MPG by a lot, but make it something that could actually be sold.
Try to make a sports car from 1899. It is hard LOL
its... perfect.
the engine debug UI app for beamng shows range and also MPG
"It's not going to have a turbo but it's going to have a turbo"
Futuristic Honda prelude
This car breaks the minimum speed limit on the german autobahn
It’s faster than walking and faster than running long distances 😂
I could see this car (with a different body, not saying I don't like the body, and I love it) in a city environment, like Tokyo, or NYC
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THAT THE HONDA INSIGHT EXISTS
You have to make a simular car to the golf gti
is there any mods that has tesla stuff you can use in this game?
Make a futuristic flying car
i dont think that having to constantly redline it is good for the mpg, if the gears were longer and you would be cruising at below 1000rpm you would probably save even more fuel
Yeah, but not too much, since the engine has only 8,8hp, although the body only weighs 550 pounds
Can we get a list of mods, like that cut away mod on the door and bumper I can find them anywhere
This car is about speed......
It does lower top speed than a p50!
P50 :78 km/h
Altris concept 2099 ecosport:51km/h
you could drive from cape town to paris on one tank (supposing it has a 60l fuel tank)
does adding the sideskirts actually affect the drag coefficient?
Nope, Just for style :P
Try to make a V10 monster
So its pretty much the 1st gen mr2?
why does it have a spoiler? that would add drag(that means worse mpg because more air resistance = more power needed to move)
50kmh dude. Aerodynamics basically don't matter lol
@@DemonLordGamingAC0 yes they do
Front reminds me of Proshe Cayenne
Your discord link in the description is not workimg for me. Can you help me?
And the 5 gear? Can get best top speed
the sniper 3 blocks away:
watch out the gasoline mafia might poision your morning coffee
More gears and this wouldnt be that bad.
I made a car with -0.0 miles per gallon (it doesn’t work in beamng drive at all)
And a car with 170 mpg that works
my car irl gets 14mpg on a good day.. with current gas prices this seams like a dream lol
Try to make something like a brm type 15. Small v16 and 600 hp
This definitely could've had longer gears, would've made it way more efficient.
If you can see if you can make it air cooled so that you’ll get less parasitic drag from spinning a water pump
I may not have been the first comment or like, but I'm here
Why dont you plan diesel engine with higher compressionrate?
I think one of the biggest issues with media an automotive engineering is trying to equate efficiency with consumption. People think efficient machines use less power but realistically speaking you usually need to consume more energy to be able to use it more efficiently. For maximum extraction of thermal energy in a reciprocation engine you need large a relatively large diameter crank and a high stroke to bore ratio to maximize efficiency, which results in a large engine that uses more fuel. It's not "more efficient" because it uses less fuel to do the same work, it's more efficient because there's a significantly larger gain in output power per increase in fuel consumption.
What program is that? I want it :)
It's automation car company tycoon
@@spoilerz0533 alr thanks 😁
the front end looks like a 5th gen honda prelude lol
I'd imagine they'd be using a hybrid skyactiv-x sort of powertrain in the future and the strange aerodynamics are meant to make it more dart-like through the air while vacuuming the front down to the ground at higher speed via low pressure instead of drag producing air deflection like a spoiler, splitter or wing. With a drive system something like the Owen Magnetic from 1916 where the engine directly drives motors from a generator transmission, the real vehicle would be much faster since the very same things allowing super mileage also allows reasonable power output. I'm hungry so I'm going to have lunch now, my sugar is low and my brain is not doing well XD
They'd probably just sell cable type cars and replace the roads so no "accidents" happen, of course they'd still somehow crash.
The body is from Honda del sol
Can you make a version with a bigger engine and better gearing
Looks like a vegan animal lover designed Suzuki Cappuccino
Does BeamNG have opposed piston engines?
can you drop a V12 and some fat brakes in there now and see what it does
The hypermiler who can’t go many miles fast.
Hay it’s Evan Paige rember me
Naming an 8hp car "Sport"
Is there another place other than Steam Workshop to get bodies and mods?
this dude accidentally made a modern pontiac fiero
now make fuel efficient car with the most amount of horse power possible
I think that's what all manufacturers are trying currently
look up the aston martin Valkyrie. the side skirt profile on your car actually is realistic
I was able to make a drive able car (1980 Coupe) with bare necessities and a top speed of 150km/h, that uses 1.6L/100km (148MPG) and cost 150k with a V6.
If I go crazy and make a death trap for millionaires that rolls along at 30km/h, I can get it down to 0.174L/100km (1 344MPG)...
Well I can bike at that point. Infinite MPG
Theoretically, that one super efficient Mercedes-Benz could achieve 500 mpg.
Try to put a 7 speed gearbox
I made a car that glitches beamng into getting infinite mpg at 35mph
