Bro I got a quest 2 months ago and I decided to sell it for something else and then decided I don’t really that was a bad idea so I just ordered one yesterday and it’s coming in two days😂

Silicone valley have made a product in 2023 with AA batteries..? Yet they profess to be environmentally conscious. Rechargeable should be standard by law
Atleast when the batteries die you can instantly change them
I’d rather disposable AAs over glued in Li-Ion.

Some people can’t afford to use the power to recharge a battery and that’s why we have batteries if you power goes out what are you going to do lol (and I’m not saying for the VR I’m just saying you can’t force people to follow something just because you want them to)
im thinking of just buying it now lol The oldest oculus ive had was the quest pro (with one controller) and then I Kinda upgraded to the psvr but I think this would be a Huge and noticable upgrade from the previous vrs ive had. plus it can play pcvr on steam too. im really temped.
I wish I could use my attachable MYJK earphones that I have on my Quest 2 with the Elite strap with battery, on the Quest 3 with the Elite strap with battery, I don't like using the stock audio and don't care for earbuds, I like attachable earphones, preferably off ear ones

This also was my first day, I love the Mr but it's apparent a larger clear room is needed. Warning, the Rollercoaster made me nauseous. On its tamest setting.

hi im watching this on my quest 3 i recommend if you get the quest 3 then get a mew headstrap the default one im using in very pain full on you head so use a 3rd party one

I have a question. I'm not even received my quest 3 for a couple days yet but still have a question. When I set my quest 3 up to Wi-Fi I will want it set to a different Network then my phone is set up too. Example my phone will be set up on Wi-Fi 5 but I will want to use my Wi-Fi 6E on a quest. Does it allow you to set up your Wi-Fi separately in the headset itself? Please explain as simply as you can as I am not super tech savvy thank you so much!

The answer to your last question, yes I will probably be buying 1 after I save enough money from mowing people's lawns, I'm 14 and my mom doesn't want me to get a real job yet, but I have been wanting a quest so much ever since the quest 2 released 4 years ago, I think that it would be a lot of fun to go into VR and I am very excited for when I buy myself one, but in the meantime guys enjoy what you have and enjoy the blessings of yours, its 1:05 in the morning and I'm gonna pis, and workout a bit.
I purchase a quest 3 last week and wouldn’t update. It just kept shutting down and trying to update. Tech support was absolute trash. Waiting for a new headset currently. They only have one fix for when it doesn’t update. Really that’s the best they can do.
its kinda surprising how many people mention that the pass through doesnt look that great. i guess growing up with the start of cell phone cameras, i tend to compare things to that and with the quest 3 only having the 4mp cameras, i didnt expect the tech to have super high end clarity with it still being in the infancy stage. that being said, its about where id expect it to be. first gen rayban stories only have 4mp cameras too. second gen has 12mp. id expect something similar in the gen 4 of the quest along with a move to led screens instead of the lcd. could be completely wrong.

lovely first look and unboxing, it would be nice to see some comparisons to the original quest headset especially since he refers to the quest 2 as "the original" (4:37) which threw me off for a second lol. all in all cool video!

i remember setting up my quest 2. and i had no clue it took me hours. sad to see they havent really improved it

The only thing stopping me buying a MQ3 is - it looks stressful to setup. Wouldn't it be lovely if you didn't need a telephone to use it, or an app to install it, (do you need a facebook account as well?) just imagine how nice it would be if you could just switch it on.

Why is pass through clarity really bad when i use my quest 3 but seeing others use AR it looks really good?
The thing your eyes see is a modified version of the raw camera feed. In a video, you see the raw camera feed. Hope this helps.
I got mine on release day, I feel like my PSVR2 is more immersive and ill stick with getting games on that.
Will take some time for games to be optimised for the extra power. In a few months we should know roughly what kind of experience to expect regularly on the Quest 3
@@ItsSamuelJones true. But.. and this is always difficult.. you buy a product now! So what it can be in a few months is great.. but then they should have released it in a few months and not now.
Totally agree. Was the same with Xbox series x and PS5 though. Especially for third party developers. Would be great if Meta had there own stuff perfected though
@@ItsSamuelJones yeah. This isn’t their first product! So they need to make sure that developers got updates ready on launch. And if they can’t do that.. release it later. Things improve over time which is natural.. but from the reviews if seen this far, its more of a, yeah it will be great once this and once that.. that says to me that they released it to early.

No it all runs on the headset. You just need your phone to set it up

For the quest 2 they should make it easier to slide off the piece to the battery part easier you have to slide it off and is very hard to so I had to use a knife which would destroy my controllers. I think they should upgrade the quest 2 battery part what do you guys think?

pretty sure yellow light means its not fully charged and is below 98% (its most likely at 97-10)

The weight distribution is better as it’s closer to your face. Definitely better than the quest 2

Why is my background in AR so grainy?
I think it is for everyone…the screen recording doesn’t capture what the eye truly sees. Also makes a difference how light the room is as well. Still WAY better than the Quest 2
