    Thank you for the breakdown, how many samples did you rendered? Did you use any temporal denoiser? Did you use the camera culling system in geoscatter?

    I've been struggling with good looking atmosphere lately, simple volumetric box just doesn't work anymore. Sad that this topic only for patreon. But still, very beautiful scene, as always. Looking forward to see more of this in the future. You're the one i look up to when it comes to this big nature environments. Wish you the best of luck!

    Thanks! Is there any way to model street networks other than array and curves? I mean if I'm rendering an aerial view of a city and don't want to use much memory and have longer render time

    This is really over the top! Congratulations! I may have missed it, but your are rendering on GPU or CPU, and how much VRAM this scene is using?

    • @Maarten-Nauta
      @Maarten-Nauta  8 місяців тому +1

      GPU and its using 10-11GB of VRAM with the 2K simplification on!

      Procedural Crowds on Blender Market. But there is more products on there that do similar things. Checkout whatever floats your boat!

    Hey Maarten I just have a quick question on your patreon the content is more rich and detail explanation as compare to youtube tutorials ??

    • @Maarten-Nauta
      @Maarten-Nauta  7 місяців тому

      Yeah its smaller more specific things regarding techniques I use. But there is also more broad breakdowns of Gaea setups or whatever. Its a mix of content!
      But its not like course material where you learn how to do environments from step 1 to step 1000.

    ❤Love your works but i do have 2 questions
    1) How much do u charge clients for these large scale environments ?
    2) whats ur System Configuration?

    • @Maarten-Nauta
      @Maarten-Nauta  5 місяців тому +1

      Im using the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 laptop with upgraded 64gb RAM.
      I charge anywhere between 1500$ to 4500$ depending on all kinds of things. But it totally varies per project. I don't want to go to deep into my pricing as thats kinda private.
      This client was awesome and they covered all the extra costs such as renderfarms etc. And kept really tight communication. Due to that I did it for cheaper than I do other clients because my workload was less heavy and stressful because of their support.

    Why my laptop can't handle such huge scenes although I have RTX 3070, 16 gb ram, and i7 12th gen? Is it the GPU, or the CPU, or me?
