I surely think that they probably have all of his records catalogued somewhere.. why don’t they upload that list and make a feature on thei Graceland site called “elvis’s Record Collection”
Wow did I like this one !!! Fun to see Elvis record collection . !!! For me it is all Beatles and Elvis !!! lol . So much so that I do have a UA-cam channel with very rare Elvis and Beatles !!!! Take care and great video and T.C.B :").
I love everything Elvis ever sang!!! But one stands out so strong was on his TV special via satellite from Hawaii!!! Glory Glory Hallelujah!!! Awesome! Truly from the whole band, an singers also!! But you could just tell, that was very special song to Elvis, and he made sure you could here that special also!!! Thanks Angie!!!
@@prp3231 Yes thats true, it was recorded in Nashville when Cliff was in the USA ,great record, he recorded few other great songs in the same session, also Elvis song : Angel with another arrangement, upbeat, tempo song
Would love to be able to walk through Graceland on off hours, to be able to have all the time in the world. To see literally everything. I realize it's not possible, though.
This is one of my favorite and interesting topics, Elvis own records collectionWhen Graceland will show ALL his '45s and Albums ? that would be great for all of us to seeI wonder if Elvis Owned THE SHADOWS - UK album or single, I do remember from a list that was out there , cant remember where I saw it, that Elvis had 2 Cliff Richard '45s , I wonder how many BEATLES albums or '45s Elvis had....
Madame I like gospel music and when I got to see Graceland I saw some of Elvis's collection and low and behold he had the same Mahalia Jackson album the power and the glory.
Why did Angie put some aside and not show them? I'm now intrigued and want to know what all of Elvis's records are. So mean to just give us a few like that.
Prob the last person to realise this but what i took to be a cloud motif in black on the wall is actually an LP and a single record together doh dont you love those penny drop moments 😆
Awesome collection , I wonder what Elvis would have thought of iTunes . Random question : (I assume you would know out of anyone as you oversee the preservation of things ) where can one obtain shag carpeting and drapes like at Graceland present day ? I’m working on a project , and can’t find what I’m looking for, thought you guys might know of a place that supplies those things .
It is also said he had very ecclectic taste in music. He even had the debut albums by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Not hard to believe, as I love metal and have the entire discography of those two bands, and, yes, much of Elvis' catalog as well. He was my first experience with music at age 5, and it has grown since.
I would love to see a more in depth look too....i saw your Gates of Graceland, Hidden Graceland series where you went through the records in the "Jungle Room" record player. The thing about that was, there was one on the turn table and several hidden in the ine compartment. That indicates Elvis had listened to is not long before he passed. What I wonder is, how can we be SURE that Elvis was the last one to put these items where they were found by the archive team? Since Elvis passed, several people have lived in Graceland....Dodger, Delta until 1993....his family still utilizes the mansion....Things had to have been moved around. Simply no way to know i guess weather or not Elvis WAS in fact the last one to touch, move, or place something in a location.
lovely collection! thanks for your series, I love it. It takes me back to the day I visited Graceland in 2000. As for the music I like, a bit of everything....Elvis of course... but mainly 60's/psychedelic mood: The Doors, Hendrix, The Kinks, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, etc. but also much more modern bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Debbie Harry, Velvet Underground, and other acts like The Black Angels, Wand, etc. some French stuff because I'm French, and also Ennio Morricone to Elton John, to Bob Dylan...Tina Turner, Grace Jones, David Bowie.... it depends on my mood.
i Were any of the furnishings in the home or Vernon's office replaced since Elvis's death? I wonder if carpeting and drapes and such would hold up over 40 plus years or if it needed to be replaced with a replica
Can somebody please publish the entire collection I love just to read the names. You guys only give us a few our names or when you have a big giant stack in front of you I just want to know the names no talkin LOL I say that with love.
Hi there, luv the videos. My question is, over the years have the original furnishing throughout the home and office been replaced do to 40 plus years of deterioration with replicas, or is everything original?
I listen to anything ELVIS. Love the movie songs. 68 comeback. Vegas days . aloha from Hawaii. Concert days. EVERYTHING ELVIS ALWAYS. LOVE HIM.💝💋👍 . WHO EVER HASENT BEEN TO GRACELAND SHOULD GO AT LEAST ONCE. IVE BEEN 5 times and am going this july. If we can get over this CORONAVIRUSE ordeal. STAY SAFE EVERYBODY. 💖
I love the eclectic taste....My own vast collection differs...from Elvis,Bowie, Depeche Mode through to Bob Marley,Hendrix,Vangelis and Gustav Holst, Vaughn Williams etc etc👍👍
Elvis had so much more life to live, why didn't someone do something about what he was doing to himself, i will always love Elvis and the 42 he gave, just sad that life ended way to soon for him
Been looking forward to more of this. Thanks Angie. Because I am Capricorn (though don't believe daily star forecast I do believe the personality awarded traits part)as Elvis, I'm wondering where Elvis's other music taste wanders. I tend to like all Elvis mid-tempo hits best, he dominated in 60's. Being a"cappy" a song, vocalist, needs pass certain hoops. Eg. I can like some 'oddies', I know have been well put in the drawer by others. Eg. Mel Torme I love. Dino & Jack Jones. Yes! Ditto! For some reason youtube sent Roy Head " Treat her Right" to my feed. I was very young but do remember that song. He's Cappy. Insane mover don't think I've seen anything like it. I commented, "bet Elvis liked this hit & Roy Head's talent/act". lol
40 Thousand ? where did you heard it ? that's a thing I would like to know also, but I think Elvis had few hundreds singles and about 1500 LP albums, maybe im wrong, but the truth is out there at Graceland
I like older gospel music like mahalia Jackson, I like buddy holly and bob Montgomery, Elvis Presley, enrico Caruso, in fact I like most people except rap music.
I would have enjoyed this more if you had just shown the covers of all of the albums in the pile. It was unneccesary to read off the songs on the albums. It took time away from looking at other albums, including the ones you placed to the side.
What do you think what for music I do love really ?...… and I'm very sure that's isn't Dean or Frank or Gene or Buddy or Michael or Mario or Sammy or Eddie or Jerry or Johnny or Carl or whoever but there is only one of course they called him The Hillbilly Cat, The Memphis Flash, The Atomic Powered Singer, The King of Rock and Roll.
Am I the only person who thinks it's strange that someone in her position would be sitting on the floor with Elvis's own personal collection of records and leaning them against the wall as if they were just records she found in a junk shop?
You don't treat records like that stacked up on the floor banging together leaning against the wall and evenly and considering their Elvis's own personal collection going through Elvis's records like you would go through records in a junk shop
I listen to the Carter Family, I enjoy their historic songs, I also like playing guitar along with all their recordings, I play a 1940 Gibson ES150 guitar
Elvis...first...foremost...and always. but i do like Waylon Jennings,Bruce Springsteen,Ray Charles,Conway Twitty,Otis Redding,Lynyrd Skynyrd,Kiss,Hank Williams,jr.
Gloves or not, I cringe at the way she handles the vinyl in this video and the 45's in Vernon's Safe. For someone who's head of archives at Graceland she really shouldn't pick them up one handed in stacks and then leave them on the floor. (I'm sure the carpet in there & in Vernon's office is immaculate, but seriously.) It only takes 20$ - 50$ on amazon to get some paper sleeves & plastic covers.
To the people or management I was at Graceland March 18 2019was a lifetime dream since your closed how about fixing to siding on racquell ball building coming loose some of the trellis rotting around graves house needs new roof come on you spend thousands across street but not on your main attraction so what dissatisfy hope you do a thorough walk through and fix things oh and the leak in basement TCB bubbling up on wall concerned visitor and fan thankyou
Steven Edwards it’s to keep the oils from people fingers off she wears the gloves whenever she’s touching elvis stuff that’s why it’s all still in great condition
Dejemos de mentir a la jente de que elvis Presley esta muerto. Elvis Presley está vivo y el finjio su muerte porque estava cansado de los estafadores y mafiosos y se fue argentina ya está bien de en gañar
Thanks for the insight. Just a comment, as a owner of a large LP and record collection, handling those LPs, as in the video (sliding them against each other, holding on the corners, etc) without those being in the larger sleeves will lead to damaging them. So, if you can please handle those with a little better care, especially those owned by the king a bit more cautiously would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I would love to see a more in depth look at Elvis' record collection. Elvis Forever!!! Thank you for a great video.
Yes and not just choice picks.
I surely think that they probably have all of his records catalogued somewhere.. why don’t they upload that list and make a feature on thei Graceland site called “elvis’s Record Collection”
Michael Vincent : That’s a great idea 👍🏻
I have always wanted to know what records he had.
Yes indeed great idea, why they never done this ?
Should definitely do a more in depth video on this, I’d just like to see what he had.
Would love to see a list of these albums! Great video, thanks. I'm going to find those albums!
Wow did I like this one !!! Fun to see Elvis record collection . !!! For me it is all Beatles and Elvis !!! lol . So much so that I do have a UA-cam channel with very rare Elvis and Beatles !!!! Take care and great video and T.C.B :").
I love that y'all are doing this! I hope it continues after you open.
Cant wait to get over to graceland it's my dream 😁🙏
So nice, love to see this, stay safe you all💜💜

Angie thank you for doing these videos. I was pleasantly surprised. Keep doing them. Thank you.
Love this vid! Its so personal to see what he enjoyed listening too!
I too came in here just to comment that this video should be longer and show more of his collection.
I'd like to see all of Elvis record collection
I think Elvis owned one Cliff record.
I do too.
Elvis had as far as I know 2 Cliff Richard '45 s : Apron Strings and : The Minute Youre Gone
@@liorb5625 that's interesting. The single, the minute you're gone, had the Jordanaires as Cliff's backing group.
@@prp3231 Yes thats true, it was recorded in Nashville when Cliff was in the USA ,great record, he recorded few other great songs in the same session, also Elvis song : Angel with another arrangement, upbeat, tempo song
Thanks it keeps us there in spirit
This needs to be a series. I've always wondered.
I like to listen to Elvis
Would love to be able to walk through Graceland on off hours, to be able to have all the time in the world. To see literally everything. I realize it's not possible, though.
Lovely video Angie; I have 10 of those albums!!!

Thanks for uploadong more vids
I like anything Elvis!
I like the songs he sang with Anita Wood....she had such an awesome voice!
Did Elvis have any Roy Orbison there
Why did Angie put some aside and not show them? I'm now intrigued and want to know what all of Elvis's records are. So mean to just give us a few like that.
Elvis led me to everything.
Prob the last person to realise this but what i took to be a cloud motif in black on the wall is actually an LP and a single record together doh dont you love those penny drop moments 😆
You aren't the last person, I didn't realize it until I read your comment! Thanks for clearing that up for me.
My favorite music is Elvis and classic country!! Suppose to be coming back to Graceland in Oct but may not get there with this virus!! 😢😢🇨🇦
More Angie more.
As she was pointed out the albums, she quickly passed on "The Shirelles, and a Art Tatum album!!

Wowtastic 😎🇮🇪Elvis gospel...🙏
Do you think Elvis's finger prints will still be on them records?
He had such a wide range music collection.
It is also said he had very ecclectic taste in music. He even had the debut albums by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Did Elvis own any records from the pre Beatles era in England i.e. from 1957 to 1962?
Please show Elvis' guitars PLEASE !!! 😭😭😭😭😭
Do you know if Elvis listened The Wings or Paul McCartney?
If Elvis owned a certain album .i want one too .
I’m curious what Elvis thought about the psychedelic bands like the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, or Janis Joplin

Angie your lucky your still working

Most of the LPs looked unopened and were RCA Victor (Elvis’ label). I wonder if RCA gave them to him.
The Dolly Parton record looked like it still had the plastic wrap on it

Anything related to Bob Dylan? Did they really meet?
❤❤

Elvis would have loved Pearl Jam .
Did he listen to Michael Jackson/J5?
Kaye Johnson No. but he did meet them in Las Vegas. Technically speaking he introduced Lisa to Michael Jackson!
Is Angie married? Asking for a friend.
Jailhouse Rock All Shook Don't Be Cruel Up
Elvis was very much influenced by Roy Hamilton vocally !
boss you have to self isolate ok at just shut graceland and sit here to its all over and look threw elvis things

Disgusting how you're treating them records records should not be stacked like that especially LPS considering there Elvis Presley's records
What no beatles records 😂😂😂😂
I appreciate this very much, but, everyone knows that EP loved gospel and soul music, yet she didn't pull out not a single Black album... Just sayin'
I want to see upstairs , on till they keep it close I say he is still alive
Are those 'rona gloves or do they think that stuff needs to be handled with gloves out of perceived value? Its not Michelangelo sketches.
