Brilliantly differentiated both the systems. I always used to think that what was so disturbing about these two against eachother that led to world war but it is getting clear now. I now believe that the socialism is better than capitalism. But question is why it becomes impossible for State to sustain it. Can we help socialism with Islamic system to make it more sustainable. Please discuss because we don't find any intelligent analysis over Islamic system and I think you could be the only person here capable of doing.
I think Communism and Capitalism are two extremes that can be eased with Islam. Because islam teaches restraint and teaches not to indulge in extremes.

@Taimur Rahman I have a few questions. In response to the Oil boom of the 70's, what should have been the solution in light of Keynesian economics to alleviate the worsening economy? Secondly since the global shift to Neo-liberal economics, have there been any societal advantages at all which would not have been possible under Keynesian economics? Third in this day and age, can countries like Pakistan or similar other third world countries, only compete in offering low skilled cheap labour? Specifically talking about Pakistan, the world energy market is moving towards renewables which Pakistan does'nt have. Agriculture is and will be ruined every year because of monsoons and soil degradation. Industry will never attain scale because of a lack of high skill labour and technology availability. I think what I am trying to ask is where does Pakistan have a competitive edge in terms of todays global economy.
Is there any way-out from this vicious circle of exploitation

Okay sir I agree with all that you say, with a very big caveat. Mifta Ismail proposed to marketize state enterprises by putting its shares on the stock exchange and keeping 60% or even 51% of shares with the government of Pakistan. That way the management could be transferred to the private sector but the enterprise itself will stay as a public asset. Why do I say this? It's because, that's the only short-term solution that I also agree with, keeping in mind the past experience of PPHI, Indus hospital, and SIUT all have managerial responsibilities being undertaken by the private sector and in conjunction with the Sindh government are benefiting local people, even the public private partnership of Angro and Sindh government has benefitted locals of Thar. I think this could work for Steel mill and Discos in Pakistan as well. What Mifta Ismail proposed.
Sorry if I missed any intricacies, I am not an economist or social sciences student. So I can only say as I perceive them rather than read between the lines.

Sir, then I’m confused, If we look at world, left are governing in most of the countries, but still the right wing ideology is dominant when it comes to elite/capitalists,
Then why not to support right and socialism, compromise on freedom of expression etc, and let’s have equal opportunities,
But on the other hand if we look a China and Russia then there are more capitalists/elite and even nowadays they are known as oligarchs,
My question is that what is the solution?

It means that political leadership of Pakistan want to change the economy of Pakistan by changing the State to Market. But here the question is that in Market there is also privitization. So how these marketists can give benifits to the middle and working class?

Neoliberal economists these days push to take away elite subsidies and reallocate that money to the poor as a form of direct cash transfers. What is your opinion on DCT as apposed to the state taking direct responsibility for education / health? Is it a viable first step in an economy like Pakistan or just another smokescreen towards deregulation and privatization?
They are calling it elite subsidies. Actually these are subsidies for fuel, and power and protecting the market from imports that undermine our balance of payments.
State under capitalism is not sovereign. State itself fights for resources on external grounds an a mean to feed the hunger of capitalism. Domestically they look for resources from tax. Businesses know how to evade tax by going for expansion of businesses. State though not ideal but is somehow representation of people but corporations corporate is exploitation of consumers. Its taking 20 rupee from a consumer and spending 1 rupees as donation which also is a marketing strategy.
