I mean, of course you can manage a "Chill" 3 and a half hour ride against olympic wannabe Pro cyclists. Cousin Pogi made a statement, and the U23 category too. I expect future races to become more throat cutting with younger kids obligated to run Elite categories if they are found they have been to world tour races. That came as a blessing for my buddies at Pemex-like Mexican team, that got a Mexican rider in the Elite category that was not Isacc Del Toro!

I NEED TO SEE AN INVESTIGATION ON MURIEL'S INCIDENT. Was it a mechanical failure or simply human error? I feel so bad for her and her family but I still want answers. There have been several tubeless and carbon fiber failure related incidents lately on and this does need to be put under a microscope to know what really happened and if it was caused by that or not. Knowing this can save more riders in the future. I feel bad for Muriel and Andre and Gino. @@tomcads1604 Dude, be real. Pogi is "supposedly" riding CLEAN and he is literally beating heavily doped Lance Dopestrong's best climbing times by multiple minutes up the same climbs??? GTFOH with that BS!
On the climb to Plateau de Beille this year Pogi , Vingegaard and Evenepoel were climbing into a steady headwind most of the ascent, yet they put up 3 of the fastest ascents ever on both an actual and a normalized sea level adjusted watts/kg effort basis that we have seen in history. Pogacar put out the highest watts/kg sea level adjusted effort in history of 7.27watts/kg, even his normalized effort was a record that equated to putting out 6.96watts/kg at sea level for 60 minutes. Vingegaard, coming off a major crash less than 2 months before the start of the TDF and despite getting dropped by Pogi on this climb by 68 seconds, still put up the second highest normalized sea level adjusted effort in history that equated to putting out 6.85watts/kg at sea level for 60 minutes. Both Pogi's altitude score of 697 and Vingo's score of 685 easily best Pantani's DOPED 1997 ascent up Alpe D'Huez that had been the previous best TDF climb adjusted ascent in history. Evenepoel, for whom climbing is NOT even his best discipline and who finished almost 3 full minutes behind Pogi on the climb still put up the 23rd best TDF altitude adjusted climbing performance in history and still beat Pantani's DOPED previous record ascent climb from 1998. And we are to believe he did that clean??? Pogi, "supposedly" racing CLEAN literally went up the Plateau de Baille climb 3 minutes and 40 seconds faster than the previous fastest record ascent set by a DOPED Marco Pantani in 1998. 3 minutes and 40 seconds faster than a DOPED Pantani while riding into a steady headwind! Both Vingo and Evenepoel (who is not even a true climber) both also smashed Pantani's previous 1998 ascent record as well and they are both also "supposedly" riding CLEAN. LOL
In addition, Pogi just the previous day had arguably put up the greatest climbing effort in TDF history on the final ascent of the Pla D'adet when he went up that climb a full 2 minutes sea level adjusted faster than Dopestrong's DOPED 2001 time up that same final climb. The year Dopestrong was arguably at his very best in the TDF!
If you think those are CLEAN 2024 performances by any of those 3 riders I have some great oceanfront property in Nebraska that I'll sell you for a very fair price. I promise! 🙂

@@saynotothegreatreset Is Tadej’s bike that much heavier though? Even if it is, you have to take into consideration the aerodynamic benefits. There’s going 14-20 kph up all the climbs these days. The weight difference might not actually hurt the performance too too much if at all (unless it’s like those two Vuelta stages this year). Either way, the training these days is if far better. We have 14 year olds in the US with 5 w/kg FTPs. Are they doping? I don’t think so. Now just imagine what kind of monsters they’ll be by the time they’re Tadej’s age.

It is weird, I'm starting to think the cycling calendar is sold off to Teams one race at a time. In World Champs VDP and Remco were riding like they had their brakes rubbing and were contained by lesser riders. There were no huge attacks from either of them. This time Pog seemed to be riding with diamonds in his legs (maybe it cost a few diamonds for this privilege??) In the Olympics, Remco could ride with Diamonds in his legs and the spring Classics it was VDP's turn. The fans wants to see these riders ride at their best BUT it seems impossible to have two or three riders riding at their best at the same time. It's like the races are fixed.

Suggestions of doping in professional cycling?! Perish the thought. Granted, Pogacar is very talented, but let's not fool ourselves into believing that a number of the better riders in the peloton are clean; they're at least as doped up in their own way as any professional bodybuilder.

Every EPOcha has a dominant champion.
It’s almost as if it’s scripted to create heroes and doped monsters.

Cmon, this vid is BS. Pogi and Vingo are only outclimbing fully doped Lance Dopestrong's best climbing times by 2-3 minutes, while riding up climbs like the PDB into headwinds as CLEAN riders. Totally legit. LOL

Pathetic that you try to suggest Remco implied Pog was a doper just to get views. He did not and there is no evidence Pog dopes. Dopers have a sudden amazing performance then a drop off. Pog is good reery time

Remco never speak about doping. Only lames talking about some case, but without proof. Remco said, that nobody deserves rainbow Jersey more than Tadej this year and that he is too great for him, yet.

I’m just a fan of cycling in genera-and since they’re prob still doping… and breaking records, why not just give LA his wins back and call it a day? Weren’t the top riders back then doping too? I imagine there are some who will say he doped better than others… but ( remember I’m just a fan of cycling not an expert, so be kind) one has to also take into consideration the mental fortitude it takes to compete in the TDF. I’ve heard about “motors” or something like that- which is a whole other level of doping. 🥺
Anyway- I think top riders either all dope or all dont 🤷🏼‍♀️

As far as I’m concerned they are all as doped as a third year University student , therefore making it an even playing field for all. Reinstate Armstrongs tour wins cause the second , third and fourth were all the same.
