I can’t recommend zoomed enough. I bought a xl cage and unfortunately one side got broken beyond repair. I asked them to help by selling me just one side.... they went above and beyond, amazing customer service. Thank you 😊
This worked for our medium kit extremely well. Took about an hour for my 17 yr old and I to put together.
This would work PERFECTLY for mantids
Really?
@@yesyes1299 what is a mantid?
@@acatsittingonmoney2683 preying mantis i think
It's been 5 years but bro the largest praying mantis species I know of gets like 5 inches long and the recommended tank size for a mantis is 2x the length of the mantis for the horizontal space and 3x the length for the vertical space
@@anthonynguyen4088 whats wrong with giving it more room? And besides, it not just for space but with it being a screen cage, It can climb along any wall. One flaw however is holding humidity.
Hi there! Zoo Med has recently changed the mesh on the top of the ReptiBreeze to Stainless Steal, thus greatly decreasing the chances of oxidation or rust to occur. Hope that answers your question.
I trust your products a lot and I’m hoping to be a future customer! Good job!
We'd recommend the Repti Fogger for Chameleons.
It isn't recommended that the ReptiBreeze be placed on its side. Also, the ReptiBreeze bay not be able to hold a snake of that size. At a minimum, your tank should be as long as 2/3s of your snake's length. I'd recommend a glass terrarium as well. Hope that answers your question. Take care.
Thanks a lot this video was amazing and helpful...
Thanks!
Alright thanks really appreciate the help
Hi there. We used our Medium sized ReptiBreeze for this video (16"x16"x30").
I'm told the floor piece is made of polypropylene.
That's cool,i were going to use a misting system
and one more question
so you think to put a draining system?
im going to purchase one to a panther chamelleon..
thanks!
Of course! 2 of our Crested Gecko habitats here at Zoo Med use our ReptiBreeze enclosures.
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. when you open the door to clean up or stock food, wouldn’t the green gecko (Geico’s mascot) escape?
@@Tiratana108 Just gotta keep an eye on them and prepare for possible escapes if they're in a place close to the door.
Guy get this product, I had an accident with my lighting and the bulb exploded. Thankfully the metal mesh stopped the glass from hurting my chameleon.
i cannot wait to buy this! setting it up and preparing it with my own money will be a lot but in the end i bet ill be proud of what i will do!
i still gotta do the estimates on the prices for it and find out where im gonna buy it and everything from rip
Amazon dude or if u live in USA Craigslist
A drainage system would be difficult to incorporate into a screen enclosure. If your habitat requires a drainage system, our Naturalistic Terrariums would be better suited. If you're just using a Repti Fogger though, you shouldn't have any concern about drainage.
Could the screen rip easily or is it hard or what?
Great instructional video! Very helpful
Thank you! Glad it helped. :)
How hard are jacksons to keep? And is it easy to keep the humidity in a screen cage without soaking everything around the cage?
Jackson's are relatively easy to manage. Check out our Care Sheet for more info:
links.zoomed.com/caresheets
As for providing humidity for your pet in a screen enclosure without risking too much moisture, I would suggest Zoo Med's Repti Fogger and adjust to what work's for you pet.
I bought a large screen cage and on step12 when you have to screw in the hinges, the holes on the hinges are too small and won’t fit the screw
Hmm, the screws should be able to secure the door. Check with our Customer Service and they should be able to help in more detail:
zoomed@zoomed.com
So with the reptibreeze stand, would the cage snap on the top or need to be screed in or do you just place it on top?
The ReptiBreeze would just sit on the top. The Shelf has a bit of a lip to keep the ReptiBreeze from sliding.
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. alright
would i be able to use suction cups for the sides for a crestie (: ?
The ReptiBreeze is a mesh enclosure, so suction cups will not work with it. I would recommend using our MagClips instead:
links.zoomed.com/ms-1
Does it retain humidity well? And does it come with screws?
hardware is included, but humidity will naturally be difficult to uphold due to its design.
Would the Iguanarium be good for a Chinese Water Dragon, I could put a blanket or something around it to keep humidity if needed, and I could put in a tub for water, would it be good for that?
If set up correctly with the appropriate requirements as well as a water element like the one you described, it could potentially make for a good Water Dragon enclosure. Always research the specific pet you're keeping and adjust their habitat accordingly for the best and healthiest results. Hope that helps.
What is the large branch of wood placed in the reptibreeze called?
I believe you're referring to our Sand Blasted Grapevine:
links.zoomed.com/psg-m
What size ReptiBreeze cage should I buy for a fully grown male veiled chameleon...?? I was thinking 24x24x48 but I don't know the 16x16x30 looks big enough to me.. any thoughts?
Pocogal H. That's up to you and how you plan on setting up their habitat. We've successfully kept Veils in both sizes. Hope that helps.
Alright and one last question... What type of lights should I purchase?
That again will depend on how you plan on having them set up in your habitat. Check out our Care Sheets page on our website for some guides for Veiled Chameleons, Lighting, and more:
links.zoomed.com/caresheets
How about for example pointy wood branches or heavy branches...could that rip the screen easily???
The screen enclosure is made with corrosion-resistant black anodized aluminum, and is designed to keep appropriately sized animals for the sized enclosure. As long as there isn't excessive force, you shouldn't have any issues. Hope that answers your question. Contact our Customer Service for more info:

Is this also amazingly best for green Basilisks..???
Hmm, if set up correctly it could work for hatchling and youngling Basilisks, but chances are you'll need to upgrade to a larger enclosure at some point. Having something that'll hold a water feature as well would also be beneficial. Hope that helps some.
should i use it for a hog island boa about ( 1.30 m ) orizzontally ( she's a really calm snake ... for a boa :) ) ?
Can I use this for a crested gecko?
You can. :)
If i just use a water sprayer for repti breeze will it get rusted or something???
Our ReptiBreeze enclosures are made with a corrosion-resistant black anodized aluminum to help prevent rusting. You shouldn't have any issues. :)
Hello, I was wondering if this can be used as a cage extender so my reptile will have more room to climb upwards.
Julien C While not designed to be, the bottom panel is easy to remove and, if secured correctly, could potentially be used as a cage extender. If you happen to try it out, please feel free to update us on the results. :)
Zoo Med Laboratories Ok np thank you for responding and I'll make sure to see if it works.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, Zoo Med products are available worldwide. Check with your local pet retailer and see if they carry or are available to order the item you are looking for. Hope that helps.
How big is the lower door on the reptibreeze xl?
The lower door on the XL is ~ 23 1/4" x 12".
Is this also for Iguanas?
Yes! Check out our ReptiBreeze Iguanarium:
zoomed.com/reptibreeze-iguanarium/
Would a X Large reptibreeze be a good size for a Chinese Water Dragon?
A Chinese Water Dragon would benefit more from a habitat that can properly keep a water element.
Hey how would I set up the large reptibreeze screen cage to the large stand with shelf part?
If set up correctly, it should just fit right on top.
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. ok thx
wheres the cheapest place i can get this? also can this be used for a baby bearded dragon thx. +Zoo Med Laboratories Inc.
+Gavin Zuniga You'll have to check your local pet retailers for pricing. Beardies would probably do better in a glass enclosure with more horizontal space as opposed to vertical.
Probably just gonna get 2 small anoles. Would it be good to put them in a small reptibreeze?
+Jordan Scott Depends on their unique size and how you plan on setting up their habitat. See our product page for size comparisons:
links.zoomed.com/nt-10
+Zoo Med Laboratories Inc well I mean it would just be a green and a Bahamian so their only like 4" each. I plan to use a lot of vines and the hanging plants
Megan Ceja no, that's overstocking. Don't do that.
What size would you suggest a curl tail lizard to stay in
Depends on their unique size and how your habitat is set up. You'll have to gauge yourself what will work with your specific pet.
I need a new cage for my crested gecko what size do you recommend
It depends on how you plan on using it. We keep 3 of our Cresties in one of our Medium sized ReptiBreezes. Learn more here: links.zoomed.com/nt-10
Ok thank you
Can you use It for crested geckos
Seems good, researching to my soon coming veiled chameleon. If I purchase Reptibreeze large, will it be a good home for him as juvenile and when hes become an adult?
Depends on how you arrange the habitat. If he can easily maneuver the space without difficulty, then it should be fine. We have our own Adult Veiled Chameleon housed in one in a large ReptiBreeze enclosure. Hope that answers your question. Take care.
Zoo Med Laboratories what are the dimension of the floor panel? i have recently purchased a used medium and it is missing a floor panel i need to replace it
Phi Salaymang The white base plate for a medium ReptiBreeze is about 15 1/8" x 15 1/8You can also try contacting our Customer Service, you might be able to purchase the missing part from us directly. They can be reached at:1-888-496-6633or by email at:zoomed@zoomed.comHope that helps. Take care.
thank you
hi,my name is iker and i love reptibreeze,im gonna use an xxl for a veiled chameleon
My question is
¿is true that the screen oxidate,if i use a reptifogger,or if i just pulverize on it??
My friends of the forums say taht,
''reptibreeze is cool,but it oxidate''
What do you think?
Good idea however for this companies best interest in selling this product, use stronger screws for sending home for buyers assembly. Screws that strip easily and become 'chewed' by using a small manual screw driver make assembly very difficult when its something so simple to assemble.
other wise good product except for weak screws that make the assembly way more difficult than it needs to be
which size would be suitable for an adult Jacksons Chameleon
+TheSpicyBannana It depends on it's unique size. We personally used our Large 18" x 18" x 36" for ours.
Do I find the stick outside?
You certainly can, or you can purchase something like our Mopani wood, cork rounds, or our other natural branch products from your local pet shop. See our selection on our website:
www.zoomed.com
If you end up using a stick or branch found outside, make sure you're not disturbing a natural habitat and that you properly soak and disinfect the branch.
Hope that helps.
Can you use these for tree frogs.
It's possible, but a glass enclosure would hold humidity better.
This is the extra large?
This is the Medium size ReptiBreeze (16"x16"x30").
Will this be good for a green anole?
If set up correctly, this can be a great enclosure for green anoles.
I have bought a large screen cage for a baby veiled chameleon, would I need to get an xtra large when the chameleon is and adult?
Depends on the species, their unique size, and how your habitat is set up. You'll have to gauge yourself what works best for your unique pet. Hope that helps.
For a short time, this could probably work for a hatchling or juvenile Green Iguana. See our website for a list of size dimensions. The ReptiBreeze Iguanarium, a ReptiBreeze designed specifically for Iguanas, is also available: zoomed.com
Do you know what size cage was used in this video
In this video, we used the Medium sized ReptiBreeze™ (16"x16"x30").
~DF
Thanks... is that good for an adult veiled chameleon
Zac Paterson Possibly. It ultimately depends on how big your chameleon gets and how their habitat is set up. The Veiled Chameleon we keep here at HQ resides in a Large ReptiBreeze enclosure.
Can a medium work for a full grown adult veiled chameleon?
the wiener dog That depends on the unique size of the chameleon and how you set up the habitat.
Can we get it at like a pet smart or pet co with out building it ?
Unless you are buying used, it will arrive unassembled. Luckily, it is really easy to assemble and shouldn't take more than 15 min to put together.
would the 24"x24"x48" be good for a chinese water dragon
+Justin Spenrath Depends on how it is set up and the unique size of your pet, but that tank could certainly work. If your pet outgrows its habitat, or has trouble maneuvering its space, it may be time to upgrade to a larger enclosure.
+Zoo Med Laboratories Inc what wattage daylight bulb would I need for a jacksons chameleon?
+TheSpicyBannana Depends on the distance it is from your pet. See our Care Sheet page for more details: links.zoomed.com/caresheets
does this kit comes with screw's
Yes, screws are included.
+Zoo Med Laboratories Inc
does it comes with branches
It does not, branches are sold separately.
What size screws are they? I lost mine!
Screwing this in was very hard it was almost like the holes didn't match up
Just need an electric drill. I had this issue with shelves also the drill makes building things a lot easier. Harbor freights has cheap ones in case need to put together future projects.
Have you not put anything together before ( ͡º ͜ʖ͡º)
Will this work for a crested gecko?
X D yes
On stage 11 my screws will not fit in
The holes are there mostly as a guide and easier installation. The smaller holes make for a sturdier installation once screwed in.
Yea I fixed it just had to bring out the trusty hammer
hey is the extra large one good for one femal iguana
+RED TAIL Gecko Depends on the size. I would suggest checking out our ReptiBreeze IguanArium:
links.zoomed.com/ia-30
+Zoo Med Laboratories Inc yeah i was planning on buying the iguanarium but i dont think the zoomed here in the philippines supply those
+RED TAIL Gecko See if your local pet shop can special order.
I have one of these. Not a great fit. Has gaps due to not being square on corners.
Did it arrive that way? Try contacting our Customer Service, they may be able to help replace the bent piece:
1-888-496-6633
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc.
Yes, it came that way out of the box. It's not that it's bent. It's more of the holes not being drilled correctly. Made things off kilter. I believe it's mostly where the hinges are, and when latched it goes out of square. Nice unit, but causes gaps. Thanks for the reply above.
Can the X-Large house an adult female panther chameleon?
Its 24x24x48
the wiener dog The Large and X-Large enclosures should do well for an adult Panther Chameleon.
can a panther chameleon live in one all its life from juvenile to adult
If set up correctly, the right species of Panther Chameleon should be able to live comfortably in one of our larger ReptiBreeze enclosures throughout its life. Always research the specific species you plan on keeping, and learn more about our ReptiBreeze enclosures on our website here:
links.zoomed.com/nt-10
Hope that helps. Take care.
thanks
how many chameleons per reptibreze
+Courtney Walsh It can vary depending on the age and type of chameleon you are keeping. Always research the specific species you plan on keeping and adjust their habitat accordingly for the best results. Hope that helps.
does the cage comes with the lamp?
The lamp is not included, unless you're referring to the Chameleon Kit version.
Si megusta pero como lo puedo comprar
Check with your local pet store and see if they carry or are available to order.
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. No entiendo ingles
if you want vines in your cage this is crappy
i just spent all of my fucking money on this kit and the holes are diffrent sizes. the damn screws wont screw in. GARBAGE
