Screen or Hybrid Cages for Chameleons?

I had a Hybrid cage built for Mr Sprinkles my Panther Chameleon .He hates it .Sits doesn't move and his colour goes drab.He just looks depressed.And when i moved him back to his screen enclosure he perked up colours got brighter and he moves around alot .However the 3 sides of the screen enclosure is enclosed with clear plastic .So it's a see thro Hybrid Cage really

Husbandry was probably incorrect and not to his liking. Or he didn’t like the reflection of himself on front glass door.

His home was perfect the lighting was perfect and the door was screen not glass .Door and ceiling screen
