I'm also liking belt squats so far after 2 months, I have no back or shoulder problems but still want to avoid disc pressure. Range of motion is better with belt squats for me, and using a good belt is crucial otherwise it can be uncomfy.

I have this machine from ATX as well. A masterpiece. I also use it for RDLs. Standing calves raises and rows.

I guess you missed munzer, kovacs, benazizza, el sonbatty etc. all of his era., if anything, the death of active ifbb pros was more common then than now

I've never used one, but I already know that it would be good to use it.
    Sometimes, you just know.

    Every gym should have these.
Once you try it you’ll never go back.
Just WAY safer for the back and also helps people who aren’t naturally suited to barbell squats and can never achieve perfect form.

After getting hurt from doing years of very heavy squats, I switched to the beltsquat. My l4 and l5 are dust and I have sciatic pain 24/7 . The beltsquat takes some of the load off the spine, and no need to balance

      Because:
      1. No weight above the transverse plane means no spinal compression.
      2. No weight above the transverse plane and to the front or rear of the coronal plane means a lack of shearing force on the spine.
      Question answered?
