Just came across your video, thank you! I am a group fitness instructor, coming on 4 years now. I found myself being really judgement on how I coach recently. I feel like I’m at that burnout phase of teaching and was looking for new ways to spice up my teaching.

I’m a group fitness instructor. I took a class today and I told the teacher I couldn’t get low because of knee issues. She said mid class , if you are doing squats like this, you are bulshitting yourself. I had to walk out bc it was no longer fun, but it’s important to be inclusive
that's just messed up, being an instructor your supposed to he doing it for the people taking the class, it's all for them, it's member based. bot to inflation your ego tf is wrong with them
Late to the comments! lol. Honestly I don’t really have relevant papers or anything that would help with fitness instructing in particular. It’s really best to learn teaching in-person, learn from others as you go as well.

Since you said your a registered kinesiology major did you still need to get a cert or was the degree alone enough?
Thanks for watching! In Ontario, I did have to write an exam to be a Registered Kin. My degree was not enough in order to have that title!
