This is one of those bands that when I heard this song on the radio I thought to myself "Holy shit this is the closest thing to grunge in mainstream right now". I know I'm not the only one. We need more new bands like this because we can't just let it die out. I want to relive the 90s through rock in these times of tragic music. It's a shame that this video isn't breaching past 1 mil views for how long it's been out because it deserves so much more.
+Trevor Philips They sound nothing like Nirvana or Soundgarden. They actually sound closer to the "post-grunge" bands of the late 90/ early 00s like Puddle of Mudd and Staind.
+James Oakes They kind of sound like Mudhoney. I mean they have the start/stop/start/stop sound that's famous with Grunge. Technically it is grunge, but with elements of Alternative (whatever that means anymore).
Mudhoney? Are you shitting me? I don't hear any punk rock influence in this song. I'm not sure how this could even be classified as "alternative". What exactly is this supposed to be an alternative to? This has been the standard mainstream rock sound for at least 15 years now. Before that it was Bush and Candlebox, which aren't very far off.

Almosh 12 years old... Time just flew by. I remember clearly how this song was recommended to me by Spotify on my playstation 4 and then I got into the band. Man, my playstation Spotify weekly recommended really came through for me a couple times lol. This band brings so much nostalgia for me, I still don't know anyone who knows this band where I'm from. I have always felt all alone in knowing and liking this band. It's sad, but I know the band goes on and eventually will stop and I won't have ever seen them live. Music hits me more than anything in terms of memories, and the period in which I listened to the band was not a happy one, so sadly the music will always remind me of worse times, but at least the music is good and I'll cherish it forever. why does everyone always feel like they gotta compare a band to every single other band that they bear the slightest resemblance to? obviously a band doesn't make it this big if they just sound like EVERY OTHER FUCKING BAND i listen to violent soho FOR their unique approach to songwriting, delivery, and production give credit where credits due guys
Anyone else hear the Pixies influence? That little riff during the pre-chorus sounds just like Joey Santiago - simple but melodic riff. And the singer is trying his best to pull off that Black Francis yelping/screaming. Damn, this is a good song. And not just because of its 90's influence. I hope these guys keep at it.
