I think it was basically confirmed that was the case. It always seemed odd the Kalos starters never got mega forms when the Kanto and Hoenn starters did. Could have been one of the planned features for Pokémon Z before it got scrapped.
@@AidanRatnage The difference is that Charizard is a naturally occurring Pokemon, so having two mega stones isn't too far fetched. However, Mewtwo was literally made by people in a lab, people who didn't know about, or at least didn't understand mega evolution. It would make sense if the stones also worked with Mew, but they don't.
You know... sometimes I feel like fan designs are a bad thing, because if they get popular in the fandom, then it potentially limits similar designs from being used without potentially causing weird legal issues like people shouting "They stole this fan design without credit!" even if they could probably do so if they wanted AND that its possible for two people to independently come up with similar ideas... Just imagine the rage if they, for example, do a Dragon-type Eevee evolution and it happens to look like 90% similar to a fan design... Will people just say "Oh, its just a coincidence." or will they shout "THEY STOLE THAT DESIGN!" The internet's habit of dogpiling on anything that looks remotely bad could cause some serious issues in the future if it keeps up...

I forgot their names, but what if the "Z" pokemon gets a "A" form, the "Y" pokemon gets a "B" form, and the "X" pokemon gets a "C" form. I think this makes sense because of the name literally having "Z-A" or "Z to A" in the name, and also the same logic you had of "they will most likely get a new form because thats what the other revisited regions had for the legendaries".

I like the idea of an 'A' Pokemon and enjoy the idea of an chaos bound Pokemon to counter Zygarde's order. However since they're all based on the creatures of the world tree Yggdrasil Xerneas being Dainn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Durathror as the four stags at the centre of the tree Yveltal being Hraesvelgr the Eagle who watches from atop the tree and Zygarde being based on Nidhogg the wyrm eating at the roots of the tree. There is but one creature left out with that being the Squirrel Ratatoskr who spends every day running up and down the tree sending messages between Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg. I could see the 'A' Pokemon being based on this squirrel that messed with the order by inciting Xerneas and Yveltal to rebel and cause chaos against Zygarde which led to Zygarde's sealing of the trio with it using so much energy that it split itself into all it's cells only recuperating into the 50% form by the time we see it in X&Y. Lysandre only finding one of the three sealed Pokemon in X&Y proper being either Xerneas or Yveltal and perhaps the 'A' Pokemon was sealed and had it's sealing place built over by those of the past to prevent this rebel getting out ever again? Say for catching it is the Post Game stuff similar to Arceus someone tries to and succeeds in freeing the rebellious pokemon to control but like how it was with Lysandre when he awakened the sealed Xerneas and Yveltal it is but a shell of it's original prowess and we catch it to prevent it from ever fully reforming with the absence of Zygarde to now reseal it.
To add to the argumentation for Pokémon A being based on Ratatoskr: Ratatoskr didn't just send messages between Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg. He was most often sending insults between the two and that just for shits and giggles. So there already is precedent for Ratatoskr being a little chaos gremlin who likes to mess with Nidhogg. If Pokémon A is supposed to be the chaos that opposes, Zygarde's order, it would make sense for it to be based on Ratatoskr just from a mythology perspective.

I can appreciate you speculating about the subject matter, but there's literally no information or Footage about Pokemon legends: Z-A aside from the trailer shown at the Pokemon present video. Just because other Poketubers are desperate for content doesn't mean you have to be desperate for content.
In the datamine of Pokemón Home it was shown that there was a plan for Mega-Jynx, as Jynx had the same space for another form like the mega pokemon do, so maybe Mega Jynx could be another option.
I personally don’t see Xerneus or Yveltal getting new forms. Rather I see Zygarde getting two new forms where he gets fused with one of them. Lore wise Zygarde is the enforcer of balance between life and death in nature. So when that balance is upset he could seek out either Xerneus or Yvaltal and fuse with them to help the balance. And game freak seems to have a thing for fusing legendaries and I feel like they would have had the Auro Trio fuse if Z version ever happened
I love your idea for the A Pokemon, however guessing the nature ask patterns on the A, alongside a green leafy coloration, this Pokemon is most likely based on Yggdrasil, the world tree from Norse mythology.
And if not Yggdrasil, the A Pokémon would be more likely to be based on Ratatoskr than whatever serpent Hoops had made for the video. Ratatoskr is the only animal on Yggdrasil not represented yet and it is already known to love to stir shit up, specifically by ferrying insulting messages between the eagle (Yveltal) atop Yggdrasil and the dragon at the roots (Zygarde 50%). Having a Pokémon based on Ratatoskr to be the chaos in opposition to Zygarde's order would be a good fit.

With the majority of Mega's being gen 1,2,3 i think it might be safe to assume 4,5,6,7 will get a decent chunk added for them whether that's just mega's or evolutions and regionals too. We don't need another Charizard form.

Z-A makes me think of Z to A, as in going from the end to the beginning. This is EXTREMELY fitting considering Gen 10 is coming up and Pokemon is up for another big shift in the formula as it transitions completely to the newer open world style.
The green leaf like veins within the A make me think it will be something to do with life. Perhaps it represents Ratatoskr if the kalos trio all represent norse mythology in different ways
I think Diancie might be involved due to the Pokémon logo being the same colors. I know some people have been saying Magearna, but that Pokémon doesn’t have that much pink coloring.
Getting a new legendary "A" Pokemon seems super likely given the genies got a new member in Enamorus in Legends Arceus, and with that pattern, its most likely gonna be a counterpart to Zygarde. Mega Flygon and Mega Charizard Z are must haves as well. I'm just hoping we finally get to obtain AZ's Floette.

I think since Mewtwo is a created Pokemon and this is set in the past we were likely not going to see it unless it's through a special future portal type event thing. I will say I think a mega Mew could be awesome!! Or a mega Mew Z could be possible within the game!!
I did just see in the title for Legends arceus the ''legends'' part is the same green/teal as the Pokemon legends ZA logo, This could've been forshadowing for that game so if that is the case the grey in the ZA logo could mean the next legends game is black and white themed. This videos title is misleading but a lot of video titles are, but the worst part is that he wasn’t genuine and said something like “Now, we don’t have anything on the new on the game besides what is in the trailer. But we can speculate…”; at the start of the video. This is the main thing that turns people from creators, because it breaks any trust that the viewer can have in the creator to be trusted at all for if they lie/mislead you that easily than why should we trust them with our time or money. To speculate about something is fine but to not clarify what we actually know and what is just your opinion is just misleading to any viewer. I really like the art of the mega flygon. I really like the idea of mega flygon taking on some more realistic features of real life ant lions, like the longer body, more swept back wings at rest, and skinny, spiky, more aggressive looking legs. I think a name for the A legendary could be something like “Abattagion” which stems from the word abattage, which means slaughter the near opposite of protection.
Being as overrated as it is I can easily see a charizard Z. As for the box legendary, maybe Auraboros? To tie into the yggdrasil theme of the legendaries? I also hope that nintendo leaves some mystery behind the new megas. I would love to "discover" them as I explore the game and its lore instead of having them all revealed in trailers, but that's alp marketing power that I doubt they'd chance to miss out on.
Anarchonda could also be an Ice/Steel type so it could have a type advantage over all the xyz legendaries. Steel for Xerneas, and Ice for Yveltal and Zygarde.
You should name the new legendary Pokémon AuraGarde because zygarde ends with garde and aura because the green in the A reminds me of the aurora Borealis

What if zygarde makes a deal with the trainer where it lends zygarde cells to your poke ball or something so when your Pokémon gains those zygarde cells (mega evolution z) it gains some elements and power from zygarde as seen in the charizard and mewtwo designs, after all thecharizard does have the same colour palette

Personally I’m not that thrilled for this game, mostly because they are bringing back a gimmick of a game that has run its course. Personally I didn’t like Megas only because they cause pain to the Pokemon once forced to evolve like that. I mean megas already bled through two more games before they pulled the plug. That being ORAS and SM/USUM
I think megas should have always stuck around, having a new gimmick in every generation has gotten really boring. Id rather they keep building on something good instead of trying to catch that same fire twice yk?

Your A-legendary in this video reminded me of Nidhogg, the dragon gnawing at the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. Could work, since Xerneas and Yveltal seem to be inspired by mythological figures surrounding Yggdrasil. Zygarde as Jormungandr (the Midgard Serpent), this A Legendary as Nidhogg... Anyway, all of this to say that the name "Arbhogg" came to mind, with the French word for tree, "arbre", and Nidhogg 😂 (I'm putting a lot of thought into this now, oops)

Ash-Greninja is literally a Mega that you have to knock a Pokémon out to activate - and the stats go up by slightly more than 100.
Maybe chestnut and delphox will get a mega in this game

You know... sometimes I feel like fan designs are a bad thing, because if they get popular in the fandom, then it potentially limits similar designs from being used without potentially causing weird legal issues like people shouting "They stole this fan design without credit!" even if they could probably do so if they wanted AND that its possible for two people to independently come up with similar ideas... Just imagine the rage if they, for example, do a Dragon-type Eevee evolution and it happens to look like 90% similar to a fan design... Will people just say "Oh, its just a coincidence." or will they shout "THEY STOLE THAT DESIGN!" The internet's habit of dogpiling on anything that looks remotely bad could cause some serious issues in the future if it keeps up...

I like the idea of an 'A' Pokemon and enjoy the idea of an chaos bound Pokemon to counter Zygarde's order. However since they're all based on the creatures of the world tree Yggdrasil
Xerneas being Dainn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Durathror as the four stags at the centre of the tree
Yveltal being Hraesvelgr the Eagle who watches from atop the tree
and Zygarde being based on Nidhogg the wyrm eating at the roots of the tree.
There is but one creature left out with that being the Squirrel Ratatoskr who spends every day running up and down the tree sending messages between Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg.
I could see the 'A' Pokemon being based on this squirrel that messed with the order by inciting Xerneas and Yveltal to rebel and cause chaos against Zygarde which led to Zygarde's sealing of the trio with it using so much energy that it split itself into all it's cells only recuperating into the 50% form by the time we see it in X&Y. Lysandre only finding one of the three sealed Pokemon in X&Y proper being either Xerneas or Yveltal and perhaps the 'A' Pokemon was sealed and had it's sealing place built over by those of the past to prevent this rebel getting out ever again?
Say for catching it is the Post Game stuff similar to Arceus someone tries to and succeeds in freeing the rebellious pokemon to control but like how it was with Lysandre when he awakened the sealed Xerneas and Yveltal it is but a shell of it's original prowess and we catch it to prevent it from ever fully reforming with the absence of Zygarde to now reseal it.
To add to the argumentation for Pokémon A being based on Ratatoskr: Ratatoskr didn't just send messages between Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg. He was most often sending insults between the two and that just for shits and giggles. So there already is precedent for Ratatoskr being a little chaos gremlin who likes to mess with Nidhogg.
If Pokémon A is supposed to be the chaos that opposes, Zygarde's order, it would make sense for it to be based on Ratatoskr just from a mythology perspective.
I would see *a Ratatoskr Pokémon* to be _a Mythical Pokémon that became a Scapegoat for the Betrayal,_ when it was *Another Pokémon truly Behind Everything* - Ratatoskr was a TroubleMaker, but _it was simply trying to make some Fun for itself, Not trying to Start a Revolution._ My Opinion would be that *the Villian would be a Human,* using _a Technique seen in One of the Animated Movies_ to Start the Revolution - *the Forced Mega Evolution shown Within the Volcanion Movie:* and *Volcanion* just happens to be _Another Legendary of Gen 6 that wasn't Represented in it's Game of Origin!_

I personally don’t see Xerneus or Yveltal getting new forms. Rather I see Zygarde getting two new forms where he gets fused with one of them. Lore wise Zygarde is the enforcer of balance between life and death in nature. So when that balance is upset he could seek out either Xerneus or Yvaltal and fuse with them to help the balance. And game freak seems to have a thing for fusing legendaries and I feel like they would have had the Auro Trio fuse if Z version ever happened

I love your idea for the A Pokemon, however guessing the nature ask patterns on the A, alongside a green leafy coloration, this Pokemon is most likely based on Yggdrasil, the world tree from Norse mythology.

And if not Yggdrasil, the A Pokémon would be more likely to be based on Ratatoskr than whatever serpent Hoops had made for the video. Ratatoskr is the only animal on Yggdrasil not represented yet and it is already known to love to stir shit up, specifically by ferrying insulting messages between the eagle (Yveltal) atop Yggdrasil and the dragon at the roots (Zygarde 50%). Having a Pokémon based on Ratatoskr to be the chaos in opposition to Zygarde's order would be a good fit.

With the majority of Mega's being gen 1,2,3 i think it might be safe to assume 4,5,6,7 will get a decent chunk added for them whether that's just mega's or evolutions and regionals too. We don't need another Charizard form.

Z-A makes me think of Z to A, as in going from the end to the beginning. This is EXTREMELY fitting considering Gen 10 is coming up and Pokemon is up for another big shift in the formula as it transitions completely to the newer open world style.
The green leaf like veins within the A make me think it will be something to do with life. Perhaps it represents Ratatoskr if the kalos trio all represent norse mythology in different ways

Getting a new legendary "A" Pokemon seems super likely given the genies got a new member in Enamorus in Legends Arceus, and with that pattern, its most likely gonna be a counterpart to Zygarde. This is the main thing that turns people from creators, because it breaks any trust that the viewer can have in the creator to be trusted at all for if they lie/mislead you that easily than why should we trust them with our time or money. To speculate about something is fine but to not clarify what we actually know and what is just your opinion is just misleading to any viewer. Not really, since they teased mega Pokémon, the outrage if they don’t add any new megas (which would last 3 turns) is enough to have game freak add new mega Pokémon, essentially guaranteeing new Pokémon.

I also hope that nintendo leaves some mystery behind the new megas. I would love to "discover" them as I explore the game and its lore instead of having them all revealed in trailers, but that's alp marketing power that I doubt they'd chance to miss out on.

if charizard gets a mega z form i am literally going to scream, he gets FAR too much love from everyone. he got 2 megas, the first of the gen 1 starters to get a gigantimax form, a spot on the FREAKING CHAMPION'S TEAM for literally no reason at all. if nintendo shows off their money-maker golden child one more time i swear to god
also mega mewtwo z doesn't make sense because it was literally man-made??? unless it was recently made in the plot of the game (which i highly doubt because it takes place around the 1860s), and while the idea you gave was quite cool, i honestly don't really believe it'll come to fruition in the actual game
Considering that the Kalos trio is based on the 3 animals that inhabits the various parts of the yggdrasil, maybe if there's a "A pokemon" maybe would be based on the yggdrasil itself
Personally I’m not that thrilled for this game, mostly because they are bringing back a gimmick of a game that has run its course. Personally I didn’t like Megas only because they cause pain to the Pokemon once forced to evolve like that. I mean megas already bled through two more games before they pulled the plug. That being ORAS and SM/USUM
I think megas should have always stuck around, having a new gimmick in every generation has gotten really boring. Id rather they keep building on something good instead of trying to catch that same fire twice yk?

Your A-legendary in this video reminded me of Nidhogg, the dragon gnawing at the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. Could work, since Xerneas and Yveltal seem to be inspired by mythological figures surrounding Yggdrasil. Zygarde as Jormungandr (the Midgard Serpent), this A Legendary as Nidhogg... Anyway, all of this to say that the name "Arbhogg" came to mind, with the French word for tree, "arbre", and Nidhogg 😂
