The song was written and performed originally by Ed Sheeran, for the film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The idea of vikings is appropriate as Tolkein, who wrote The Hobbit, had a lifelong love of Norse Mythology and it was an inspiration for his books.

And he is acting as the dwarves before they go to fight the dragon, so warriors who heavily suspect they will soon die. But that there is honor in what they must do. So there is a strong bit of connection between them.

I like how each Geoff character seems to have their own voice range while singing too. Some deep. Some higher.

He got the Dwarfs back together again. He did Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold from the first movie, this is from the second movie. These are all the same costumes, the makeup just needed a couple of new props.

1:20 as someone who has been described to have morning voice 24/7.
On one hand, you sound cool and older, authoritative even just from the rumbles in your tone.
On the other hand (and the more effective side) you speak at a frequency that can be difficult to hear in a public space.

Love Geoff Castelucci and his deep bass voice! You need to check out some Avi Kaplan. He's the former bass of PTX and has a ton of amazing solo songs. I would start with Change On The Rise ❤
