@@MakeWithMiles cool! For what price do you sell your kendamas for?
@@davidbrosten1921 Usually around $95
U are the future of the Kendama culture

That would be sick!!

Super sick video man! Thinking about getting a lathe to make my own and this video not only helped, but thoroughly entertained/impressed me. Love all your camera work/editing. Super well put together
Beautiful work, Miles!
Thank you kindly!
Wow, Miles! I'm sooo impressed with the amount of patience you needed for this project, and it was all worth it--- the Kendama looks absolutely amazing with it's colored "grain" effect! Great job as always!!!
Thanks Jake!! I appreciate it ;)
Great video and project Miles! I would love to see you make more things out of recycled skateboards! It's such a sweet material to work with! I love to make toys out of them!
Thanks Jolien! I love recycled skateboards, so I think I'll be using them in the future!

Nice spec Ken. Fire bro
The colored layers of the skateboards make this look really neat.
Thank you Sharon!
very nice. i hopefully will be able to try this sometime.
that's freakin awesome. i never think about how much work goes into making a good kendama, that thing turned out absolutely amazing
Thank you so much dude!!!
This is very well done kid. I want to try this for myself now since we have the exact same lathe
すげー!超カッコイイけん玉!!(Soooo super cool kendama! )
I used to play with kendama when I was younger! The colors in the layers are so beautiful!🌈
Thanks Jumpei!! That's super cool you played when you were a kid ;)
Nice job, very nice! 😲👍🏼👍🏼
incredibly well made video and kendama!
Thank you!
Hey man, You combined my three favorite things. Woodturning, Kendama, and skateboarding! nice work and technique on this Kendama. I turned my first Kendama probably something like five years ago and at the time there was nobody showing their process of making them on UA-cam. probably because if everybody turned Kendamas the market value for hand turned ones would go way down and I doubt anybody that was making them lol! Personally I think the hardest part is turning the Tama to the proper specs. Then again I’ve never used carbide tools so maybe it’s a bit easier that way? Anyways, once again great job dude. I just felt like making some again for the first time in a long time so I thought I’d check the old UA-cam out to see who’s doing this nowadays and I found you. Subscribed for sure.
Love it!
Please do more kendamas! You are amazing at what you do, also people would pay big money to get their hands on a hand turned ken (Me). It would be super cool if you made some for sale :)
Have a look at Handplan Kendamas.
Great work! ✌🏽
Thank you 🙌
Beautiful kendama.
Thanks Dennis!
thats so sick
Wow that is beautiful
Thank you!
Dude I think you did a really good job on it man
Thank you so much Jacob!
I’m learning how to make Kendama too. I actually bought the one you made on the live stream !
Oh that is dope dude! I wish you the best of luck. Thank you for your support!
It looks so cleaannn
It’s sooo good
Thanks Dylan!
That very cool !
Thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks!
You just gained a fricken sub!!! Let’s flippin go
Ayyoo dude! Thanks for the sub and thanks for watchin'
The tiny scraps might make cool fret markers for future guitar builds.
Just wow
You need more subs. Seriously
Mannn.. I’m literally speechless; I’m so impressed! You are amazing! I wish I had a fraction of the skill/talent that you possess! I’m so interested in stuff of this nature, but I just simply cannot “create” ANYTHING. Not only have you made a super fucking dope ‘dama, you filmed it quite flawlessly!! All the way down to your video description layout.. Highly professional.. for sure. Hopefully one day I’ll have accumulated enough funds to acquire all those woodworking tools, and maybe even a nice camera setup. I’ll never make it anywhere, obviously, but you truly inspired me! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK; && *FUCK* WHOEVER DOWNVOTED THIS! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Bro seriously it’s unreal how good he is. Literally got a custom kendama from him all through the kendama community.
Cool!
real sick vid
Thank you! ;)
So youre a youtuber, a skater, a kendama master and... what else!!? ♥️
Haha, thats about it ;)
Dude you got something huge for the future in store for you I can feel like I promise you'll be making thousands of dollars in a matter of weeks even days I am a fellow skateboarder that snaps boards every now and then and I think your idea is such a good way to recycle the wood if you ever need me to work for you I will do so for free u promise you that you heard that correctly I will work for you for free spread your name out here in Hawaii and blow your company up I absolutely loved this vid and the fact that you have probably the best kendama brand ever messaging you is a such a huge deal I can't wait until I get back into the rhythm of playing kendama's, yoyo's and of course skateboarding much respect and plz look into my comment im truly serious I love the kendama community so much that I will work for free no problem 7 days a week 365 days a year
I love kendamas
Zo maakten ze de bekers voor Battle of the Berrics ook! Heel vet! Kunstenaar heet Haroshi 😉
I want one of these so bad
Not gonna lie dude - your vids are excellent but I'm REALLY here for the BEATS! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for listening
I love how your friend reacts to every trick like, “Holy shit did you just see that??? Because I saw it. As a matter of fact I know the guy who did it. ME.”
Haha I totally agree! Love watching the homie when he finally gets the trick ;)
so nice damn!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hehe thank you so much!
So sick! What kind of glue did you use? Tried it with Standart wood glue and it didn't worked pretty well...
i want one holy cow
Very cool idea to use flex seal as a coating, do you know how it plays over time?
Thanks, it has held up well. It's definitely not the best of the best, but it works well!
how did that flex seal finish hold up?
Wtf sooooo coool
can u do a shop tour vid
Oh yeah subbed
Nice video
Thanks!
where did you get that grinding wheel for removing paint from the boards?
I just added a link to the description! its king arthurs tools
I'm looking for something different. An air rifle stand/ holder. Something ornate but almost puzzle like. Butt rest fits into stock element.
hey man, what kind of tools do you use for the woodturning?
These are the ones I started out with, they are great quality and easy to learn on: amzn.to/3B6qrKV
brooo I'd pay upwards of 200 dollars for this just sayin... anyways that vid was suuuuuper impressive man, you really used the shots in the video to tell the story! You're the next big thing 100% bro 1 mil easy, especially when you get a bit older!! LOVED IT!
does the flex seal give a sticky coat?
I've tried Flex Seal and it does help with grip. Not quite as much as the specialist coatings from KUSA, KROM, Sweets, Kendama Israel etc. but it does make a difference.
Yeah, it is sticky, it isn't glossy though. I think it's the best option available on the market!
What would you charge me if you made just a Ken love the work keep it up
I charge 85 for ken only, and I usually do a drop once a week (thursdays). Check my IG because that's where I post them.
What paint did you use ? Is it a sticky paint ?
Haha you would know if you had actually watched the video ;)
@@MakeWithMiles its hard, im french
Oh, my bad I'm sorry lol, I really need to get better captions. I used Flex Seal Clear Spray Finish.
@@MakeWithMiles ok ok thanks bro 😊 and it make a Cushion or Sticky effect on the tama or no?
@@jeandesbois7752 Yeah it is a decent grip, it's not the best of the best but I like it. It's somwhere between a cushion clear, and a sticky clear. Good luck!
Do you sell these? You should make some and sell them on Etsy. I’d get one!
I'd buy a kendama like that. Let me know if ya selling?
You should make customs. I’d pay a pretty penny for a skate ply on a NoJumper Flight shape 🔥🔥
Haha, I'll try and do a small batch when I get more skateboards ;)
No seriously though I would definitely buy one, but you inspired me to make one myself!
@@MakeWithMiles i'll would buy one, too!
also would try myself on a kendama but i got no equipment to do so. only a really old lathe from my grandpa without knowing how to use it (already dead so i cant ask how to and where all the stuff is hidden to turn stuff) :/
@@MakeWithMiles oh and the shift shape was the right decision. best in the game 😄🙌🏼
@@MakeWithMiles I'd buy one too bro
Is this Kendama for sale edit is it tho
Is it tho
Can anyone confirm the flex seal finish?
It's definitely not the same as a finish from sweets or kusa, but it is probably the best diy option out there. Like I said it works, and holds up well over time, but it's not my all time favorite to play
Make With Miles good to hear, I’m currently making a wenge, rosewood, maybe some maple all in a tama to add some tracking and I’ll definitely try out that flex seal! Preciate it Miles
How can I get you to make me a Ken
And 0lease do more kendama making videos
dang, can you hand turn me a ken?😀🙏 also, great video, it’s a very beautiful kendama
Do a yank spike with it lol
OMGGGGG
;)
Looks like a kendama USA shift shape
Yeah that's what i was referencing!
Make With Miles cool
Can you send me one so i can rewiev it in my video pls
Yes you can buy one on my kendama page @fuji.kendamas on Instagram. They are $100 ;)
Who disliked this video :(
Can you give me one kendama?😳
Hahah I actually sell them lol. Nothing is for free. ;)
