I truly do not understand why anyone does a thumbs down on your projects. I love this one, and enjoy all of your lovely step by step videos. Thank you for all your lovely how-to's. I'll be doing this one today. ❤❤❤
I’m a newbie, to this specific kind of “treasure book”, so I really appreciate all your ideas, big and small and usually make a few right along with you . I think I’ve watched about 15 or so of your videos in the last week (sort of addicted :). What I absolutely love…. And there’s lots to love in your presentations…. In all your videos you start off with the finished product (this is so so nice) and beautiful to see in a grouping and lets me know right away what to expect. Then you do details, with very helpful tidbits thrown in. They really are helpful, so many people talk just to talk, which is annoying. Then you show ideas for using them, which is always inspiring! It’s just such a pleasant and lovely way to learn.
I just recently started making junk journals. Watching your videos has given me so much inspiration. I can't complete one because I keep finding your videos of different things to make for it.
I could not sleep, so I watched this video. I immediately grabbed some stash and made 4 envelopes. They are darling. I only did the folding. Maybe tomorrow (today really) I can finish them. Thank you for showing how to make them!
Thank you. Absolutely love this idea. Just showed my daughter. She sends encouraging little notes to a few of the old ladies at church. Been a help during covid for the poor old Dears who are lonely. She will be using this idea.
"Who doesn't have scraps like this?" Other people who are not me 😂 when folding the points down to make the flap, if they come out a bit uneven, you can add a thin strip of contrasting paper or ribbon as an embellishment to hide the mismatch!
These are really fun. I love how you take the element to the journal and show us all the many ways it can be used to decorate. And I just love your journals. They are just beautiful and intriguing! Thank you!
I don't make journals, but I make birthday (etc) cards for family members & close friends. Your ideas are always inspirational and very often relevant for card making. My current project is for my granddaughter's partner. It's his birthday next month. This will definitely be in there somewhere. Thanks so much for your work/play ❤x
Couldn't sleep so watched a few YT and then made 4 of these Flip Down Envelopes and swirl paper clips for them too ( I do bead and wire jewelry also). Now it is 2:30 am, good night and thank you for the lovely tutorials. ☺♥
Excellent ground breaking ideas for junk journal newbies like me! Tip for straight line folds, is using a laser level from hardware store lay it on your work surface then fold along the laser line.
Just now seeing this... I love these and your directions and ideas for using them in your journal is wonderful. My Granddaughter and I are creating journals together, she will love these ideas. Why had I not thought of adding charms to paperclips? Lol !! Brilliant ideas 💡 👏!
these are so nice and easy to make. you are awesome for sharing these cute ephemera. my favorite is how you added to paper clips with charm. they add a finished look.
Fabulous way to use those 'what the? ' pages that come in 12x12 paper packs that don't seem to match the theme of the paper pack ( weird patterns or colours). Decorated and embellished, they now can be used in a variety of journals .....win win :)
Hi Natasha - the circular spiral paper clips you love and were saving are called "Clipiola Italian Paper Clips" if you are looking to find more. Thank you for the video! They are wonderful little envelopes! Hugs, Lynn
