This is awesome, man! Always nice to see physical media in the days of Nintendo not wanting to preserve their old content.
Their licensing issues. Their products becoming rarer. I’m not a huge fan of Nintendo anymore, although they’ve come out with some remasters.

In all reality, that is such an impressive collection and i really wish I kept my copies of Nintendo power. I actually made my own mum subscribe to them for me and i always got excited when a copy came in the mail. I was like five or six so obviously I only looked at the pictures lmfao but i really want to find them now, hopefully they're still in great condition.

Time crisis was my favorite game growing up. Whenever I saw it at the arcade or at a restaurant I just had to play it. I ran my parents out of cash so many times, and if only they knew they could’ve just bought me the game. lol Great memories, thank you so much.

Holy shit dude this is SO SICK! I still have a bunch of my brothers old consoles and games. I remember fondly all 3 of my brothers kicking my ass 6 ways to Sunday in Pokemon Stadium... they of course had fully optimized teams all imported from their games, and I was stuck with rental mons lol

No idea you were such a gamer. People when they look at my computer set up, they ask me if I'm a gamer. Which no, not really. Only game I ever liked was AcroPhobia (fear of acronymns). It came out in 2000 (saved me in an insane marriage that I got divorced from). But it was restarted like last year when I searched for it.

I am not a gamer. However, I am an artist. It would take a long vid to do a complete tour of my studio. ( i have accumulated more supplies than an art store over the many years, but it brings me joy). I have been enjoying your videos for a while and it is good to see your 'joy'. You are so organized. Love the gear. Something that may have been pointed out already but the game gears have bad capacitors in them and need to be replaced. They will leak if they have no already and damage the board.

The two rarest games I own is Magic Knight Rayearth on Sega Saturn and Rule of Rose on PS2. Rarest guidebook I own is Versus Books Final Fantasy VII unofficial guide, which contains info that the official guide left out.
I ADORE the Sega Saturn so much. Too bad the sales in the states didn't do so well. I love collecting for that system.
Oh, *sad typing sounds* my PS1 died some years back, after many years of faithful service.
It still sits on its shelf, I can't bring myself to dispose of it.

If you ever get a Dreamcast, you gotta play Jet set radio.
For all of the retro consoles an handhelds, you should just get/use a MiSTer FPGA. I've mentioned that to you before but I don't think you understood at the time. You can even use your original controllers with the MiSTer if desired. As a bonus, you get about 40 retro computers and > 1,000 arcade machines. What consoles? Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Atari Lynx, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis/Megadrive including the SegaCD, Sega 32X, Sega Saturn (WIP), NES, SNES, N64 (WIP), Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy 2-Player, and GBA 2-Player, TurboGrafx 16 (and CD), Sony Playstation (1)... plus about a dozen more. Anyhoo, being FPGA based, it acts like a transformer and modifies its hardware to become the original hardware that operates in parallel... as opposed to software emulation that runs in series. Then you'd not have to have all of those original systems hooked up, nor cart the media around and potentially add wear and tear. If you want to check it out, I have a spare you can borrow.
I love seeing all this kinda stuff, I have the original sega and Nintendo consoles. I loved to play duckhunt by just holding the gun up to the tv lmao. Game and gun still work too. I think the rarest game cartridge I have is the golden Zelda cartridge

Great collection! I do have some advice. The Xbox one on top of the ps4 will melt the internals of both systems quickly if you turn them on and use them. I know because I had limited space and melted a ps3 and ps4 twice by doing this, that’s two ps3s and 2 ps4s in the trash.

Do you constantly cut the power to your consoles? Or do you just keep all of them or most of them plugged in to where there getting power? And do you worry about fires at all with all that stuff plugged in?
How do you make sure the power lines are safe. How do you check no cords are over heating? I would love to set something up like this but with all those cords that would be an anxiety for me.
