Matt's Doctor was my best friend. Doctor Who didn't really click with me until Matt popped out of the TARDIS in The Eleventh Hour. Like one of the fans said, I'd always turn on one of Matt's episodes when I'm feeling depressed and I'll perk right up. The eleventh Doctor has been with me through a lot! Still a little sad that he won't the Doctor in tomorrow's premiere (though I am excited for Peter Capaldi!) Thanks for posting!
Naysie101 David's Doctor is by far my favorite but I'll definitely turn to Matt's when I'm feeling depressed. His energy totally brightens my day! I miss Matt, but I'm loving Peter! You're welcome.

Around 19:10 the person says that they watch Doctor Who when the are depressed and it helps. I can so relate: Doctor Who is my go to when I am so down I can barely face the world. I love Matt Smith's energy and goofyness. Thank you for making those days a little more tolerable.

I love how Matt starts a sentence then starts another, before starting again to answer a question. He is just gorgeous. Love him so much, I miss him already as the Doctor and the new series hasn't started yet.

Any tips for what time to show up to get in to the panel ?
The way it worked at our comic con was that they didn't clear the room after each panel so we went early to make sure we got a seat in the room and watched the other panels while we waited. Matt's panel started at 1:45 pm. We got in line around 11am to get into the panel that was at 12pm so we could get seats. We watched that one and the one at 12:45 pm. It fills up pretty quick. If they don't clear the room between panels, I suggest getting there at least one panel before your's. That means you'll need to get in line an hour before that time. Hope this helps! :)

Nicole Russell I wish I could have asked a question. Unfortunately, I had to choose between filming and asking a question. The question line was in the back and I wouldn't have had a good view. I decided that sharing the panel was more important. Thanks, it's just a point and shoot camera.

Hi my name is Gregory, If possible can you tell me why doctor who the movie was blocked by bbc ? I saw the movie on my tablit this summer and since it was blocked, does this mean you tube did not have permission to show it ? IF this is the case why is all these other clips being allowed to be shown? I would think the bbc is getting a lot of publicity for americans who do not have cable tv to see it The movie is allready released and on dvd so what is the big deal? With respect?
Gregory Worth Hi Gregory. I know what you mean but UA-cam will usually take down any recorded material from shows or movies because they are not authorized by the company, such as the BBC. These interviews are a little different because they aren't recorded by the company. This one for instance, I recorded at a public event. It's not a copy of someone else's video. The best advice I can give you is to check Tumblr for links.

I mean what i say if the movie is not available in this country i guess it is meant on line why do they allow people to rent or buy.? It would seem to me that perhaps Google play has a boot leged verision of the movie comming from some where else! I feel F.B.I. should be told If i get some guts, i will but mabie they know If Google play is reading this, food for thought

Most who here said Matt is their favorite doctor is their ONLY doctor.. Ultimate favorite doctor when only one has been watched. Only a kid of these days can make a statement like that .
I can agree MATT blew Doctor Who out in a big way and I really love Matt as the DOCTOR as a 49 year old I found myself in tears so many times.
I became a WHOVIAN in 1976 and I like ALL doctors they all have something great.
I suggest new Whovians watch as many Doctor Whos as they can.
Well put! I started watching with Christopher Eccleston. I loved him and was sad when David Tennant came, but David is my favorite doctor!! I've been trying to watch more of the Classic Who. I watched the very first episode with 1, an episode with 4, and the movie with 8. I agree that every doctor brought something great to the Who world. After watching The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot for the 50th, I really want to see more of Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy!!

I am so annoyed at people who get stuck on one doctor and the rest sucks..they are missing out on SO much fun, so much LEARNING so much sadness.
Capaldi has BIG shoes , but I am sure he will add something new somethings we wont like and some will be great....

I agree. Although i only started watching DW mid last last, I have since gone back and watched all of Chris and David and some classics. I still call matt my favourite, but I think it's because he was the first episode I watched. But I can't place David and Chris, I love them to!
Anja Winch My friend's first episode was also with Matt and he's her favorite. That is usually common. However, my first episode was with Chris, but David is my favorite! All the actors who have played The Doctor have been fantastic in their own way! I'm really looking forward to seeing Peter!

***** That's a bummer! Before I had the chance to go last year, I would always watch the panels on UA-cam.
And giving some thought of how Clara should and could go once it's time, i think there are not to many options that can make sense. I think they could make her fall in love and go to live with some guy who would be adventurous and everything else he should be to make Clara be interested in him. Maybe he could be some time and space traveler from next century or something like that but he should travel in some other way than Doctor and go only to some nice and safe places and times, not interrupting anything neither running around like a mad man. :) And i think Matt should play that character.

6HrsofBatteryLife Well, for me Martha's was better because she left by her own choice and afterwards ended up with Mickey. That was great story from my point of view. Rose's departure was sad and shocking but she also kind of got what she wanted, so it was silver lining in it. Amy and Rory's "death" was heartbreaking, but also alleviated by the fact they were together and doctor also still had River. For me the sadest departure was Donna's because not just she left but she also could (should) never even remember the doctor. And he was devastated after that even more than when Rose left. :) I have to say i haven't watched old doctor episodes and don't know about other companions so i just wrote what i felt of those from new series. :)
merrycap982 I wasn't a huge fan of Martha at the beginning, but I loved her journey! She become such a strong and confident woman! I have only seen Donna's departure once. That was devastating! I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch it again. Amy and Rory's departure was really sad, but like you said, no one was left alone.

Matt seems like a really nice guy and i love his Doctor Who, but i still think Christopher was the best. I don't know, i just try to imagine what some scenes from new series would look like if they were acted by other two Doctors and i think that Christopher could do any of them, but not sure if David and Matt would really be credible in some of them. :)

That Let it Go question/singing/thing was weird. Like of all questions to ask Matt Smith, that's what she asked? And she sounded like an adult. And then she sang. I was embarrassed for her. (The child before asked a much better question. More mature than the Let it Go singing adult. ) Maybe it was a bet or something. Otherwise it was weird & embarrassing.

What does alien even meet in Doctor Who ? Humans are aliens to the doctor.
They're aliens, sure, they're also monsters. It's just to make a distinction between "nice aliens" and the freaky antagonists the Doctor encounters.

I would say I've watched The Eleventh Hour over 100 times... I went through a faze where I had my season 5 and 6 box sets on repeat 24/7. And by 'a faze' I mean a year haha
Well... I think I'm pretty close. I've watched it in English two times in a row, then in German three times (The original is way better. I mean German dub is usually pretty good but the voices are really not fitting this time) and now I turn it on (in English again) every night I can't sleep. Which are a lot of nights. :D

I think the enthusiasm is universal! In one of Billie Piper's latest panels she said there wasn't a difference when it came to American and British Whovians. They are all just really excited. It's great that people love Doctor Who so much! However, I agree that it can be distracting at times like when you cannot hear the person talking.
My point was the Original comment i replied to implied all american audiences were this way and that British audiences were not. I was simply stating that this is not true.
