- BBC America's Doctor Who- The Doctor and the Ponds land in San Diego. BBC America's Doctor Who stars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill join award-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat (Sherlock) and award-winning executive producer Caroline Skinner (The Fades) for a Comic-Con panel and Q&A. As fans eagerly await the new season's premiere, BBC America is making sure Steven Moffat brings new footage to reveal on the big screens in Hall H. Ahead of the new season, BBC America will premiere new Doctor Who specials-The Science of Doctor Who, The Women of Doctor Who, The Timey-Wimey Stuff of Doctor Who, and The Destinations of Doctor Who-as part of the Supernatural Saturday programming block starting Saturday, August 4 at 9pm/8c. For those new to Who, the previous two seasons from Steven Moffat are available now on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download.

Back when RTD was writing Doctor Who was missing something, except for the moffatt episodes. They were ingenious. it's never been this popular, outside of Britian till Steven became writer and Matt became the Doctor.
Amy's favorite monster is the weeping angel, which is the monster that kills her, and takes her away from the Doctor.

The 3 of them are great together on screen and off screen. The way they bounce off one another- all those small things - gestures, reactions etc.and they really enjoy one another so much. And Steven is really funny and witty. The facilitator is excellent too! What a great panel! Thanks so much for posting this!! ❤️👍
Yeah trusting our hearts worked really well with Sherlock. Its been months and my heart is still in pieces from that last episode.

it would be horrible...this coming from an American. It being a British show and how long it's run makes it unique. You can't duplicate it. It's one of those things you can't take out of it's natural habitat.

I read something where Seth McFarlane just didn't " GET " the appeal of Doctor Who in comparison to Matt Groening who has given the Fourth Doctor little " cameo " roles in several eps. of " The Simpsons ". & Matt Smith mentioned Seth McFarlane @ 06:38, I got the time wrong.
Harlan Ellison should write a script for Doctor Who, if he's not completely burnt out from writing, like I've read that he is. He's rather sour on writing for visual media after getting several scripts radically butchered.

An AMERICAN Doctor Who ? It would probably be a complete train wreck / Dumpster fire / crap - fest. I've seen a few clips of the U.S. version of Red Dwarf, & my reaction was " meh ", at best.....
