This is just inherently happy music. Nothing complicated, just making me feel absolutely delighted.
This movie is so depressing
@@THJAFOthe happier the music, the more depressing the movie
@@THJAFOdid we watch the same movie? I thought it was perfect
@@TinyFord1 but the ending is bittersweet
As a clarinetist that plays both jazz and wind band music, I’m in absolute awe as to how effortless this guy is making the solo sound! It’s so smooth, it sounds so relaxed!! And those glisses and bends don’t stand out too much, they’re heard enough, but they don’t kill the vibe, I love it!!!
Seriously!! I don't get how those high notes sound so smooth and effortless, it's absolutely crazy. His tone is so even!
andy miles' versatility is just incredible.
Gotta love seeing more clarinet content! And although I have no idea what twiddliest is supposed to mean, it absolutely feels like the perfect word to describe that solo
fr
Andy Miles, de lo mejor para mi, quiero llegar a su nivel y espectacular sonido.
to avoid seasonal depression:
- use a happy lamp
- play *this song*
It's from the La La Land movie. The movie is a masterpiece with such great music. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are fabulous and the songs they sing are sooooo good. I definitely recommend you take a look at this film.
I went to the cinema with my wife and it was literally just the two of us watching La La Land. When someone in the crowd started I thought I was gonna hate the movie, you don’t jump on cars… Well after the 7th time we watched the film the other dauly this song remains my favourite choreographed piece in the whole movie. Just brilliant
the German orchestras bang. Be sure to check out besides the WDR Klassik, the NDR orchestras and the hr frankfurt philharmoniker. These are my top 3. teh Frankfurt orchestra my personal favourite
HR has a LOT of content online. However I much prefer the BR.
And also check out the WDR BigBand. They have a huge spectrum of pieces they play, high standards. And they are lovely people. I got the chance for a workshop with them with my school bigband, still one of the best days I've had.
This is German clarinetist Andy Miles-- he has a UA-cam channel under the name "World of Clarinet"!
Damn, I think this style sounds better on German system clarinets now
I'm a clarinet player, and the way he plays it is so effortlessly and calm its absolutly wild.
This is an absolute bop. I could just put this on repeat while walking through the park on an autumn afternoon and it would just make my day.
Yes! I've always been a fan of the original video form how much finesse the clarinet has and it's pretty cool to see you transcribe it
As all clarinet solos, I can confirm that this one is the twiddliest of us all
everytime i open youtube i see this on my front page and everytime i rewatch this because oh my god i cant get enough; i play clarinet and im just awestruck by this mans talent, it sounds perfect
this is twiddily amazing
the solo sounds exactly how i imagined from reading the title
George wasn't lying, that clarinet can twiddle
I love this music, it’s so fun to play.
this was my opener this year!
"Some woodwind goes wild"
love it
That's a very sunny solo.
I LOVE YOU KING GEORGE
Dude. I love your transcriptions. Thank you so much. I know these take a lot of time and you probably have a list of things to do as long as your arm, but I would like to selfishly request piano transcriptions from Chico Marx if you ever get the chance. I love his style of playing, and he is very enteraining to watch. Very unique. Anyways, keep up the great work! Thanks, my dude.
Another day of sun I love it
When you are a clarinet player, you appreciate this even more!
That's the most fun a German system clarinet has ever had.
Ain't no way I came across your comment on the original video from TWO WEEKS AGO and now I see this, bless up 👏
George walks down the street happily humming his favorite tune.
He waves to the neighborhood market owner who always tosses him an apple as he walks by.
"Mashata!" Shouts the store owner.
"Mashata!" George delightfuly shouts back not fully knowing what it means but always happy to reply.
George continues..
i didnt know what twiddliest meant before this. now i do
When Spongebob and Patrick finally move:
As a clarinetist, I see this as an absolute win.
The song is called another day in the sun from Lala Land.
That is what you call clean
this type of jazz is an especific genre? i love this type of music
do you transcribe these by ear or playing it on an instrument then transposing?
German radio orchestras bang. They often do collaborations with famous musicians.
I didn’t know bro was chill like that
I love how we musicians play by the sheet but give it our own feel by putting keys such as "lay back". Music is expression really
AW THATS FUCKING GOOD
Some woodwind went wild😭
W song
YES LA LA LAND MUSIC
Twidddliest, and slightly smug and pleased with it self, but warranted.
I LOVE LA LA LAND🗣️❤️
Omg. SO much twiddle. ALL the twiddle. MAX twiddly.
If only clarinets at my school could sound like this
I must consult the word “twiddle” with my dictionary!
As i clarinet player, i would actually die if i ever tried to play this 😭
As a clarinetist WOW
Danngggggg
"Here you go, your pokemon are fully healed and ready for battle"
For some reason this reminded me of a Pokemon Center
Very twiddly I must say
Love La La Land
i edged to this video
like this content more than keyboards haha
Squidward wishes
can you do the sax solo in searching by roy ayers?
My first instrument getting attention!? YURR!
La La Land 💯
HOW DO I GET TONE AS LIGHT AND SMOOTH AS THAT
The twiddliest clarinet solo does nothing to save this music from being antiseptic puffery.
This clarinet solo sounds like something out of the OST of some game from the "Mario Party" series
Straight out of Pixar
swingy notes paired with the total absence of vibrato for a jazzy clarinet solo just sounds so unusual to me - those long notes hold awkwardly until the next note arrives
Is this what heaven sounds like to twiddly claranetists?
Have you considered doing a transcription of Flötenkreis by Philipp Läng? I'd love to see what you make of it
are you going to do the threatening notation video that you promised was coming ?
ooo la la land
very similar to one of the songs in rythm Heaven feaver. cant rrecall which one. Tap Troupe ?
Can you transcribe some of Greg Phillinganes' solos? Or Herbie's solo in "The melody still lingers on" by Shaka Khan? I would love some more funk on this channel
Bro’s just making up words now 💀
bro think he squidward
after 2 days playing this my technich still sucks lol (the sound is good now tho)
need to study and a new clarinet
who let stephen hawking cook
is this la la land?
I love this song. I like the Y-STUDS version the best. But no (place favorite superlative here) clarinet solo there.
La la land
Read footage of Mario 3d world music being made.
I'm German. In Germany we have enough of these superlatives. I send you a few
I didn’t even know Louis Theroux played clarinet.
i am glad paying almos 19€ a month for this...
When I saw the thumbnail, the first moment I thought it was Stephen Hawking…
Is this Andy Miles playing the solo?
Is no one pointing out the bassoonists in a jazz band?
could you please make more tuba content?
Reminds me of the Monsters Inc theme
0:06 The second note of mm. 5 was not a Bb, but actually a B natural. I know that this is not in the key signature and may not make sense, but this is just what I hear. Otherwise, good job on your transcription.
it is actually B flat after playing it myself and matching it to a tuner.

which mario game is this from
0 dislikes... nice. and i see you going to cange that, so stop.
First
Why learn this instrument when you can just whistle?
doesnt even sound like a reeded instrument
It's lovely but definitely not the twiddliest clarinet solo 😂 Balkan/gypsy music wins that one I think aha
