- Hey guys. This parsons chair was old, had paint stains, and just looked completely done. In this video I show you how I updated it using pillow cases and a hot glue gun.

Amazing!!! You just helped a girl for real!! Definitely trying ur chair diy!! fyi but u probably already know.....a blower dryer on hot setting and high will loosen that glue and u can just pull it apart, just hold the dryer on the area a few seconds, 20 to 30 seconds and there u go!. If its glass use lower setting. It help me so much for reusing glue gun decor.

I HAD TO DOWNSIZE IN MY AREA AND DINING AREA SOOO SMALL SO MY WOODEN CHAIR KEEP MARKING UP THE WALL I FEEL IF I DO DIY WITH CHAIR FRAME IT WONT MARK THE WALL AND CHAIR BE MORE COMFORTABLE

This is amazing and I love it. I do have a question tho. I want to cover a chair that is used a lot, can you tell me how yours held up with a lot of use? Do you use this chair a lot or is it a chair you use mostly for decor purposes? Thank you so much.
We used it daily for the most part and it held up great. It's not upholstery fabric but you would have to purposely tear this type of pillow case fabric. None of the glued areas came undone either. I plan to do it again and I want to try the hemming tape. It sounds perfect!

Hi, I used 2 packs of 2 pillow cases.
Looks great... Just never sit on it... That glue is going to fail the first time
It surprised me! It held up to daily use for two years. 🤷🏽♀️
