- Опубліковано 21 гру 2018
- These commercials aired on FOX in December of 1992
1. B.O.T.S (Commercials starting here are from 12/2/92)
2. Cheerios
3. FOX 32 Interstitial
4. FOX Action Theater Commercial Bumpers
5. Tyco Fast Traxx
6. Nestle Quik
7. Fantastic Flowers (Made By Me!)
8. Batman Birthday Bash Sweepstakes
9. FOX Action Theater Commercial Bumper
10. Count Chocula
11. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time for SNES/Hyperstone Heist for Genesis (A weird ad for an absolutely classic game...Turtles in Time, one of the best if not THE best 16-bit console beat 'em ups. Hyperstone Heist isn't too bad either, but feels more like thrown-together leftovers from the first TMNT arcade game than its own thing)
12. Berry Berry Kix
13. Twister
14. Little Mermaid Beautiful Hair Ariel
15. Honey Comb
16. Tomorrow on "Batman" (Episode: "Pretty Poison")
17. "Batman: The Animated Series" End Credits
18. Batman Birthday Bash Sweepstakes
19. Promo for "The Simpsons"
20. Cheerios (Commercials starting here are from 12/3/92)
21. Magic Motion
22. California Roller Baby
23. FOX 32 Interstitial
24. Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie Dolls (Interesting that these were made by Mattel and the Little Mermaid dolls were made by Tyco)
25. Battleclash for SNES (I kind of wish I had bought a used Super Scope in the early 2000's when I still had a CRT TV and a SNES hooked up to it. Like most lightguns, it doesn't work without a CRT display)
26. Monster Face
27. Color Blaster
28. Terminator 2 Action Figures (Wow, he actually says "Hasta La Vista, Baby" here! In an ad I posted previously the kid said "Adios Amigo")
29. Tyco TCR High Banked Speedway
30. Baby All Gone (That's a damn catchy jingle)
31. TV Spot for "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York" (LOL at "This ain't like the last time!". I love it, but a large part of the script is spent rehashing entire scenes and jokes from the original for no real purpose)
32. Magic Potty Baby (Is it the potty or the baby that's magic? You decide!)
33. Tomorrow on "Batman" (Episode: "Heart of Ice". This completely reinvented the backstory of the goofy low-tier villain Mr. Freeze as a tragic figure and is probably the best episode of the entire series)
34. "Batman: The Animated Series" End Credits
35. Promo for "The Simpsons"
36. Domino's Pizza Nintendo Instant Win Contest (I didn't get the SNES until that Christmas and it was a while before I got to play Super Mario Kart. I believe I got it the following summer at Software Etc.)
37. Converse (With Larry Johnson)
38. Osco Drug
39. FOX 32 Interstitial
40. Tyco Super Duper Double Looper (Commercials starting here are from 12/4/92)
41. Baby Feels So Real (A doll with bones inside...creepy)
42. Lucky Charms
43. 2-XL
44. Batman Returns Tiger Handheld Electronic Game
45. FOX 32 Interstitial
46. FOX Action Theater Commercial Bumper
47. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 For Sega Genesis (BLAST PROCESSING!!1)
48. Kellogg's Cinnamon Mini Buns (With free mini board games)
49. TV Spot for "Aladdin" (I believe I saw this on opening weekend)
50. TV Spot for "The Muppet Christmas Carol" (I definitely saw this on opening weekend. In retrospect it's crazy that so many classic kids movies were released around the same time. 1992 has to rank as the best Christmas of my childhood. So many great memories of toys, video games and movies)
51. The Claw (Reminds me of "Liar Liar")
52. Peppermint Rose
53. Discovery Zone
54. Polly Pocket
55. Tyco Turbo Hammer
56. Monday on "Batman" (Episode: "Nothing To Fear")
57. "Batman: The Animated Series" End Credits
58. Promo for "It's A Wonderful Tiny Toons Christmas Special"
59. Whale Of A Tail Ariel (Commercials after this point can't be accurately dated to the day...they're still from 12/92)
60. FOX 32 Interstitial
61. Lego Castle
62. Cocoa Pebbles (I love the spoof on "American Gladiators")
63. Promo for "Tiny Toon Adventures"
64. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
65. The Claw
66. Terminator 2 Action Figures (I guess each ad used a different Spanish phrase)
67. Trix
68. Nerf Blaster Master ("Terminator 2" influenced so many trends in the early 90's, they've even got that desaturated blue tint going on)
69. Tomorrow on "Batman" (Episode: "Cat Scratch Fever")
70. "Batman: The Animated Series" End Credits
71. Promo for "Beetlejuice"
72. Nerf Bow & Arrow
73. Tornado Rex (I still wonder if WB ever sued them for completely ripping off Taz)
74. McDonald's (It's pretty unlikely that a kid would be riding around on a vintage bike like that and not know about it)
75. Lego Town (It sounds like "Mean Eddie" should be disqualified?)
76. Promo for "Super Dave"
77. Chia Herb Garden
78. McDonald's (With Tonka Truck and Cabbage Patch Kids Happy Meal toys)
79. Pop Tarts
80. Tomorrow on "Batman" (Episode: "On Leather Wings". This was technically the first episode in order of production)
81. Promo for "Merrie Melodies"
82. Promo for "Merr-Eek! Christmas Saturday" - Розваги
I miss the 90s so much..
I do too.
So do I 😔
Things were so much simpler back then. I’m so fortunate to have grown up during the 90s.
I watch these whenever I feel depressed or stressed out, it's like a time machine. I miss my childhood, maybe it was because I was a kid and didn't know any better but the 90s seemed like such a great decade before everything fell to shit. If time travel existed I'd go back and live again in a heartbeat
I hear ya. I was born in 82 so was the perfect age in the 90s. I remember most of these commercials and bring me back to my childhood. My wife is the opposite and watching them depresses her because she misses it.
@@Vgp-rp4iu I can sympathize with your wife, it's like what the hell happened and I often wonder was it as good as we remember or did it just seem like that because we were kids ? Either way there's something about it kinda feels like going back home
@@slimpikin82 I think we had a lot more serotonin as kids. It's normal to be nostalgic for our childhoods. There is a reason older people often reminisce about the "good old days". I'm sure kids today will be nostalgic for today's commercials, music and movies.
@@misatchi good point
I do this also. Feels good know I'm not the only one. I don't know what it is but watching these are very comforting to me.
I remember all of these, the 90's seemed like everything was going to be alright. It bridged and complimented the 80's nicely while giving slight glimpses of the future in a positive way, but ..now smh.
This doesn’t feel 20-30 years old, it feels like a 1,000+ years ago. What a different world we live in now💔
Things made sense back then man I miss the 90s😞
kinda hard to believe how much the world has changed in just 20-25 years.
The commercials were so lively. So no wonder I wanted everything I saw on TV.
Take me back. 💜
they say you shouldn't look at the past but look forward. all I do is the past old games, computers, toys. sometimes these things seem like yesterday.
Brenden S Such a simpler time. We as kids were the last of the porch light, imagination, patience generation. We could spend hours playing with sticks and rocks. Bikes & Badminton. Cards and board games. Hide and seek and Polaroids.
Now, it’s all about phones, selfies, gaming and instant gratification.
I'm 36 years old and I'm just gunna say this the 80's and 90's were a better time , everything was great, food, movies, music, ect ect, those were the last two great decades, the 2000's and beyond cant hold a candle to the 80 and 90
Thanks for sharing. I'm 30 & the 90's was an awesome time to be a kid. It was right before computers & cell phones really took over! No smart phones, no UA-cam, no streaming services or too many other distractions. Just tv shows & going outside to cause mayhem!! 😉
The 90s was a great time bring back the good ole days.
These were just the BEST days ever. I wish I could do it all over again... Everything was just different. These commercials took me back!! #80sBaby #90sKid
Same here avoid so many mistakes I was born in 79 but man did we have fun as a kid and we had imagination not apps
You're right, nothing compares to the 90s.
Just want to say. GREAT collection of commercials. I’m in the hood of hoods Newark and these were exactly the commercials I used to watch. #nostalgia overload. 👍
The 90's, especially early to mid-90's were super colorful and not a little psychotic.
Do they even have toy commercials anymore? God I love that I was born in 86 and experienced the 90s.
I was born in 82, and remember all these commercials. I don't know if there are still toy commercials, if there is I'm sure they're all CGI and forgettable.
There's a reason Toys R Us went kaput. Kids these days just don't play with toys. It's all smart phones and tablets. I live in a neighborhood that has quite a few families living in it with dozens of children and I NEVER see them play outside. Ever. There are like 6 Basketball hoops in my neighborhood that never see any action. Even in the summer when school is out.
It's sad and actually tragic that a lot (though obviously not all) of kids just stay inside and play games. I remember back in the SNES/N64 days that we weren't allowed to play for more than 1 hour of games per day. And that was only IF we completed all our chores + homework and had already played outside for at least an hour. I learned quickly as a child that hard work equals more satisfying rewards. It felt GOOD at the end of the day to have finished all my chores, worn myself out playing Football or Basketball or running around the neighborhood having huge Nerf or Water fights and then coming inside, putting my feet up and playing some fun video games to unwind.
Now kids steal their parents credit cards to dump money on mobile garbage, don't interact with each other outside of text messaging, and have 0 work ethics. And many of the parents are 100% to blame for enabling these lifestyles, either purposefully by not caring about their child, or indirectly by having BOTH parents needing to work all day long to support them.
Hell, nowadays it costs $233,610 to raise a SINGLE child to age 18. And that's not including college.
Me too. At least the 90s toy commercials had jingles.
It seems like I was watching these commercials just yesterday...
To be young again.
Brought me back to my childhood days thank you 90’s babys rule
This video made me miss my childhood even more. Great memories!
Twister..”the hot spot!” Crazy how I heard it coming all these years later. Born in 89’ I lived through every year of the 90s. Take me back..
89 also!
89 here too! 👐 It was a glorious time!
“Part of this complete breakfast”. Always juice, milk, and toast lol.
And strawberries in a bowl lmaoo
Awww I remember making my mom a bouquet with Fantastic Flowers 💐
I get so emotional takes me back when i was lil kid 😪😪😪
You're not alone. Life was so much better back then, we didn't have our faces buried in smartphones we went outside and played everything was so much simpler
Omg that Animated Batman Series, Tiny Toon Adventures, Home Alone 2, that Nestle Quick ad..and that color blaster pencils and stencils...oh childhood come back 😭😭😭...BTW I still have my Turbo Hammer Monster Truck..my nephew loves it
I can’t believe how many of these jingles were immediately recognizable. The power of advertising.
Every single commercial brought me back to when I'd get up early on Saturday mornings to watch the cartoons. Damn I miss my childhood!
me too.thats why I'm watching this commercial now.i miss the early 1990s.
OMG that Twister commercial just brought me back to being an eight year old plopped in front of the TV watching cartoons. I still remembered the jingle for it too.
Man oh man! The nostalgia is so freakin real!!! I still have my entire Polly Pocket Collection and the same Castle in this commercial. I just turned 35 and i don’t think I can ever let them go 😩
Commercials back then were so great. Most of everything was either positive, happy, or funny. Commercials nowadays are so fake, monotone, and bland. They need to bring this type of stuff back. I loved commercials as a kid. Nowadays, they’re depressing and annoying. That’s why most people watch Netflix.
That first Cheerios commercial almost feels like a modern day parody with all those '90s commercial standards - handheld cam, sped up footage, frazzled moms, a singer belting, I probably even missed a couple too.
Well.....I JUST realized that the voice actor for the Nesquik rabbit is also the voice for Donatello from TMNT 1987; Im 35 btw.
These were the days
i wanna live in the 90’s...
So many memories. Thanks for sharing!
the way that boy so calmly volunteered to tie that woman up in the quik commercial had me dying laughing just now
I remember the order in which these commercials aired with the exception of the few local ones; mostly due to the fact that I and the other kids at school were obsessively watching Batman (including X men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and would always be raving about an episode at lunch or at the playground, this is how we used to talk about things we liked before social media! Also back then TV episodes were about 25 in a season! You had a lot to talk about back then; unlike now which it's about 8 to 10 episodes within a season due to steaming but I hear as of 2023 that's about change, things may go back to the way they used to be. Good times!
Soon as I heard the Twister jingle, I knew what it was. Says a lot for jingles...and what you can remember two decades later.
I remember when our FOX affiliate's Kid's Club first revealed Batman: The Animated Series. The "sneak peek" involved showing the intro about every other commercial break. Every time the host introduced "another look at the new Batman," I hoped it would be a different clip, but no. . .Just the intro, over and over again, during the whole block. From the lackluster way the station promoted it, I never would've guessed it would become one of the greatest shows in animation history.
The 90's rock
RIP kevin conroy! 😢❤
I love, LOVE the clean, no glitches Twister commercial!!
I'm still waiting for my B.O.T.S that my mom promised me 25 years ago
:(
Back when LEGO didn’t rely on licensed properties.
i envy the American 90s
Twister! OMG that commercial always got me jazzed when I was a kid!
Man, I still remember the Twister jingle! These commercials are in amazing quality! Thank you for sharing this blast from the past. :)
Modern advertisers need to watch some of these and learn what worked.
seeing the genie from Aladdin makes me miss Robin Williams even more. Still cannot believe he is gone.
FOX Action Theater returns! There is so much awesome here, and it's 30 minutes long to boot!
The 90s had the best jingles. ❤️
Ah the simpler times. Damn.
Miss the 80z & 90z
I spent SO MANY BIRTHDAYS at that exact Villa Park Discovery Zone. The nostalgia is REAL I wanna get in A BALL PIT.
Wonderful days of our childhood
OmGosh the memories 🥺😢😭 I just realized that most of these kids in the commercials are my age🥳
This video brings me so much joy. I had disc replaced in my neck and this is about all the joy I have right now thank you
Aw....take care.
When TV was good
Back then they had such cute clothes and they looked so pretty
There's so much awesomeness in this video I can't even begin to comment on it all. 1992 was a truly awesome year in toys, games, entertainment, etc. I got Super Mario Kart this year for Christmas and it was such a major score. Turtles In Time was the far better TMNT 16-bit experience and I did like the take on American Gladiators in the Pebbles ad, I was watching that show religiously every Saturday on WNYW channel 5.
Epic compilation
I was about 12 when this happened, and this is what I consider as not being all that long ago, since I remember it all so well. Now I'm six months away from being 40 years old and wonder how I got to be this old!
You mean you were 13 when this happened, not 12?
We’re the same age. I just turned 40 a few days ago. Wanna go baaaaack to the 80s and 90s. No luck with my time machine though :(
Shoot. I'm 26. I was a baby but I have a good memory of a lot of the stuff.
Time slows down for no one it goes by so fast and we dont even realize it at the moment I cant believe it's been 30 years since 1990 I was 2 years old lol
Love the Super Nintendo Super Scope ad at 9:01
15:25 "She has tiny bones" Wait, What??? My daughter just caught this as we watched, my childhood commercials. I had to rewind when she fell on the floor laughing and creeped out. Seriously, someone needs to find one of these dolls and open her up LOL!
truly terrifying. and the less said about magic potty baby, the better....
Brings me back good ol childhood days
Kix and berry Berry kix the Only cereal that needed at least ¾ sugar added to it for me to eat it 😂😂
2:47 - "Hey, kids! Invite a tortured vigilante who is haunted by the murder of his parents, and spends his days in constant torment to your next birthday party!"
Dang. I remember almost all of these.
Childhood Memories.
Ads 59-71 are from Tues., 12/8/92 since "Cat Scratch Fever" reran on Wed., 12/9/92. The remainder aired during "The Forgotten" (these are ID'ed in another video) but I couldn't find the exact airdate.
I still play both Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist every once in a while!
Most of the Terminator 2 action figures were in my collection, especially that motorcycle.
Giga Force I recently bought the John Conner t2 3-d toy that comes with the motorcycle still in the package and in really great shape I was so happy to add it to my pretty large figure collection
Count Chocula! 😭😭😭💕💕
They still have them just seasonal now
I had so much fun with my 2-XL!
I was born on 12/2/1992 :)
I had the Tornado Rex board game and it was one of my favorite toys. I used to set up little action figures on the board and then let the Tornado Rex top come down the mountain to crash into them. I really regret letting the board get destroyed and thrown away. I'd love to own it again but it's so rare and so expensive now and I imagine it could never be released because the Tornado Rex character is basically a ripoff of Taz. I still remember being at Toys R Us once and they had like a whole pallet of them on clearance. I wish I would have talked my parents into buying me an extra copy and keeping it sealed in the box.
Discovery Zone was one of the greatest places I ever got to go to as a kid! When I was there, I was totally pretending I was doing the Temple Run game from Legends of the Hidden Temple. It was so much fun.
Yo, when I was a kid I thought I was the only person that noticed that Tornado Rex was a rip-off of Taz, I couldn't get anybody in my family to agree with me.
I grew up between other countries, but I remember see that Twister commercial in other countries too! Good memories.
I had a California Roller Baby lol
Me too!
Man I miss Discovery Zone!!!!!!!!
Me too. We would get dropped off there while mom went shopping, then would pick us up when she was done
Wow i remember the quik and fantastic flowers. Nostalgic!! ❤️
gina marina it makes me feel old af but I don't think I would of changed being a 90s kid cause the toys were so much fun
lauren ralph yes. I miss growing up back then. Everything was so much better
Love this! Thanks for sharing :)
I used to watch the kozone on fox32 Chicago every day that discovery zone commercial man that brings back memories everyone would have their birthday party there
That Quick commercial is ingrained in my head
I'm salty that my mom didn't let me have Trix cereal. I wasnt allowed to have super sugary cereal except on special occasions. I loved trix 🤬 thanks mom
It was a good cereal but wasn't super sweet.
now that you're a grown up you can eat it every day
I never was lucky enough to sucker my mom into the sugary cereals. I always wanted to try cookie crisp as a kid..
Anyway my sis and I just dumped sugar on cornflakes and had delicious sugar milk to drink at the end
😔same
shellyedmb117 well Trix is not always for kids which is so messed up. I always felt bad for the rabbit not getting his cereal, even Santa Claus who's not even a kid gets to have that and not letting him to have it and thought Christmas is all about giving and sharing. It's like everyone hates rabbits but I love rabbits!
I remember that Trix commercial with the rabbit dressed up as Santa. I haven't seen that in a while.
I either didn't know or forgot there were toys for "Terminator 2."
Does children's programming still have as many commercials for remote control vehicles, Nerf, and race tracks? Whenever I got an RC toy, its battery barely lasted fifteen minutes. I regret not getting any of that Nerf stuff.
I recently found my Zapper Light Gun, so I guess I'll have to hook the Nintendo up to my old CRT TV if it doesn't work.
Every time this commercial would come on I was say it's the Be like Mike
I want some honeycomb and cheereos now
I remember the koz zone when I lived in North Chicago. I think I might have even seen this series of commercials on this very day they aired in this order. I watched alot of Fox 32 back then
Wow, been awhile since I've seen the Fox 32 Koz Zone stuff!
It’s interesting seeing familiar commercials, or just what they are selling. Also cool seeing ones I don’t remember
How I remember those Fox Action Theater bumpers
I kinda want a fantastic flowers maker...
Cheerios-the camera editing in that commercial..
The Simpsons-if i recall,Maggie spoke(with Liz's voice) at the very end
Batman TAS-Heart Of Ice was a good episode..actually felt bad for Mr.Freeze
Terminator 2 figures-wouldve been interesting if they made some for Predator
This volume (and the other shorter 256 volume) is so perfect!! I watched them as soon as you uploaded them! (It was fun when it showed up on my notifications and was so pleasantly surprised and happy as I watch these perfect compilations ) !!! Xoxoxo
Great commercials fast traxx 1992 was a great uead thank you 😙😅
I had the Magic Potty Baby was my fav toy
Love this channel xxx
God I haven’t had Trix in eons. Weren’t they shaped like actual fruit at one point and now they are just balls?
They brought the fruit shapes back, last i seen in stores
Nah. You just grew up and can't see them anymore.
It's a sad realization, isn't it?
I like how you put your thoughts on some of the commercials in the description lol
i noticed that too and also apreciate it
@8:25..haha i had the skate doll
SOFTWARE ETC.
now THAT'S a name from my distant past...
@1:00 Rich Koz, aka Svengoolie
I remember getting the 2XL for Xmas and was very disappointed that it broke a few weeks later :(
