  • Due to youtube's new restrictions on content made for children. Here's a clarification, as youtube keep turning off comments on this video.
This video was created to give people who grew up in the 90's (like myself) a nostalgia rush. Anyone who grew up during the 90's would be currently, at least 21 years old (1999 being the last birth year).
If you're under 16 please enjoy watching the video, but please don't comment! Thanks.

The 90s was really a special time. It was the end of the pre internet age and everyone who grew up then were the last generation to ever know a world without internet, and the cross over to the internet age.
You went home and there was no computer, you had to use your imagination outside with your friends or just by yourself.

Honestly think this is why many kids born 2000 and up might be at a disadvantage in terms of being able to have a more creative imagination. Simply because, as was said, we had to use our own imagination when alone with our toy's or go outside with friends and create our own entertainment. I'm not a doctor but can't help but feel during those early years when we had to play in the real world or come up with creative, imaginative ways to use our time, it may have been more healthy for our mental wellbeing and interpersonal relationships, when if you and your friends had a arugment outside playing you worked it out and learned.
Now days when a 10 year old is playing fortnite, there's no interpersonal relationships being built and staring at the screen all day with endless amounts of mindless entertainment is setting up our future generations to have issues with attention and problem solving skills that kids born pre-"internet everywhere" era, had much less. I think theres much more than those two examples of issues, but kids dependent on a digital screen in place of going outside with real world friends and using there own vivid imagination, can't be healthy for interpersonal relationships as directly dealing with a real life friend would be.

Look up the song if you never knew the name of it or the band, it may give ya a big nostalgia trip!). Those were the best days! @@skahler Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the struggles and madness in this world today, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be
destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
      - (AMPLIFIED version)
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. Xxx

I really feel sorry for the younger kids these days. They have been robbed of an awesome childhood. I was born in '88, and though these nostalgia inspiring videos make me long for simpler times, I had a blast growing up and I'm fairly happy now. This younger generation, though.. they all seem to be miserable and depressed in their early teens. For anyone who only lived through the 90s, a lot of these things actually came from the 80s or even earlier, but stayed popular until the 90s. Glo Worms for instance were introduced in 82. The board game Mouse Trap (I'm just learning) first came out in 1963!

The 90s were the golden days for being a kid/teenager. So many new gadgets. So many new toys. So many new innovations left and right. Today, it’s basically the same old stuff that gets incrementally improved and/or recycled.
Countries still had respect for one another for the most part. Leaders still had class. The middle class was still the largest proportion of the population, and opportunities still abounded to better one’s self.
Global competition was not as high, Russia was the least threatening it had ever been, and China was not yet a super power. Japan was a friendly country introducing anime and manga to the nation.
I remember being able to play with the. With neighbours kids a lot. And friends would organize frequent sleep overs and parties.
Nowadays, society is so separated and making a living is becoming harder by the day.
Corporations have taken over the mom and pop stores and politicians are bickering chickens with no action.
Kids today only play video games... or stay stuck on their phones.
90s video games were better. They looked awesome for the time, but still required friends to be next to one another to be able to play together.
The internet was just picking up steam, but was just another innovation on par with all the others, and not the most important thing in life.

I was born in 2009 but for some reason I have this feeling of nostalgia I think it’s because I think about my mom when she was a teen

I love being an adult. I’m a wife and mommy to 3 beautiful babies. HOWEVER, this was the best time to be alive. Looking at the world we live in today. What a mess. Almost gives me a home sick feeling. 😞

I love how everything pre 90s just gets labeled as 90s

Did anyone else watch this and get sad? To be honest my upbringing was. Rough. I didn't fully get to be a kid. But I do remember loads of these seeing them at my friends house and stores. Just wanting to grow up and get out but sometimes wish I could just go back and try to enjoy being a kid. 🖤
