@ I lived in London in 1986-1988. Esteê believe me...you are in the right place. I’m European, and if my situation was different I would absolutely live in London/England.
Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years since you've moved to the UK. It feels like it was just yesterday when I was watching your vlogs with you and your ex. Time definitely flies - so much has happened! I'm a sucker for jewellery, especially gold, and I think your collection is beautiful! ❤️ I can't wait to see more
Estée you should listen to the podcast ‘Dinner for One’ by this lady called Sutanya Dacres , she’s an American in Paris and it’s about her journey finding her making her own mark/ home in a foreign country after breaking up with a partner she lived with there. Each episode she cooks a different meal so you getting cooking tips and good chat !
It’s funny how people hate online adverts but forget the Internet is free to use and adverts enable us to consume great content without having to pay for it, not to forget, social media, google platforms etc.... We all gotta make a living! Thanks for all the bon content you’re putting out 👌🏼💜
Um last time I checked I had to pay for my internet service. I'm not sure how you're getting internet access for free?? But I appreciate your general point.
I have absolutely no problem with the people I follow doing ads. I know the things they advertise/collab are things they have actually used and believe in.
I don’t care what you do, it’s just your vibe that makes me happy. And in these times when its so hard to find those moments of joy, having breakfast with one of your videos gives me all the good feels. Love u 💕
Your video's always come into my life like a breath of fresh air. Your space, what you share, your lifestyle are all inspiring and uplifting. Thank you for always being such a genuine person
I love that you talked about this, I went through the same for American citizenship and I don’t think enough people understand how intense this process truly is
Absolutely! Also how expensive it is and how just one error in paperwork can cost you everything. Congrats on becoming an American, btw! As a fellow American, we're lucky to have you 😁💛
I've been following you for years, and hands down, you are one of the very few who I still follow religiously! Thanks for brightening up our days and being real AF! X
Uhh I've been putting money away every paycheck so I can splurge on one of your layering sets. Love everything you're doing, thanks for keeping us company during this crazy year!
I was watching Josie's vlog from the fashion mumblr yesterday and thought to myself how difficult an influences job is. From the moment you wake up till the moment you get into bed you guys are constantly creating content for us to enjoy and then when you take a few hours to yourself you feel GUILTY about it because you feel like you could've created more content. Its emotionally and physically draining. EVERYONE has to make a living one way or another, no job is easy and no job is successful without hard work so I think you are all DESERVING of the paid partnerships. 💗 been a follower since the beginning and I still get excited for every 📫 😘
totally feel you with not feeling cute in your clothes in lockdown. I am totally uninspired and don‘t really feel like myself in my wardrobe for some reason
Same here, but am also buying online and returning every order. Thinking something will look cute to wear on the next grocery run and yet arrives and hate it 😬
Thank you for all you share Estee! I turn 30 at midnight (in 20 mins) and while I can’t explain here all the reasons my life isn’t where I expected it to be, I have a similar story to yours and you have given me so much strength when I’ve needed it, especially in this moment. I live alone for the first time after an 11 year relationship ended suddenly last year and the country is locked down with only 4 weeks reprieve since March and you’ve been a light through the very dark times. While I hope I get through these days, if anyone is showing me the way it’s you. Thank you thank you thank you. 🙏💕
You are the first UA-cam I followed after I moved to Canada. I remember you just moved to UK those years and I love you videos all these years. You are like an old friend to me.
So excited for the new podcasts episodes! Your podcast was the one was that got me into listening to podcasts in the first place! I also agree that influencers/content creators should no longer have to explain themselves and make a huge disclaimer every time they do a paid sponsorship. It's literally how you make money and as long as you're transparent about the fact it is a sponsorship, and it isn't coming off as disingenuine, I say it's a great thing! It's such an accomplishment to work with different brands and oftentimes we as consumers benefit from these partnerships too, so I am 100% in support of your work! Sending love from Canada
my two cents (or paise!): when you go independent, it takes SO much to get to where you’d like to be!!!! can definitely relate to the sentiment, though i am nowhere close yet (considering my own journey). may you keep glowing + growing, estée 🌻🌻🌻🌻
Hey Estee, I’ve had ILR for 15 years now. Now you’ve got me thinking I should go for my U.K. citizenship as well. Can’t wait to see how your progress goes with it 🇨🇦🇬🇧💕
As someone who has been in the US as an immigrant for 11 years, I can understand what a big deal and an accomplishment this is!! So, congratulations!!! What a great moment💕
i started to watch your vlogs when i was 17 and now im 25 waaah!!! time flies so fast. im now at your age when you're starting your own life in a foreign country. you are a brave soul, i must say!
I absolutely love how you speak up about stuff like sponsorship etc. You go girl! ♥️ Love what you're doing! Also, keeping my fingers crossed for your citizenship, hopefully you get good results! x
I’m so excited for your podcast again. You’re a natural interviewer. Sis, I understand that you have to eat too! Who cares what people say about sponsors content? Do you, Estee!
Indefinite leave requires at least 5 years! I’m working towards my British citizenship too as a Canadian but I’ve got years to go haha. Congrats on getting it all together!
Hi Estée! I love that you talk about your immigration process and all the steps that you've taken to stay in the UK. I'm currently in the process of getting a visa to relocate to Canada and it's a long process. I've never thought about all the fees, paperwork and stress the process can cause. Good luck with your citizenship!
Hey Estee, I just wanted to say you are my roll model and who I aspire to embody every day. I appreciated all that you put into your work for us to enjoy and be inspired by. Thank you
I've been through part of the UK immigration process too, and it's so challenging-wishing you the best of luck! Unfortunately, things didn't work out for me and I ended up going back to Canada, but the whole process gave me so much empathy for people that go through the process when they're coming from awful situations that they need to get out of... Luckily I was so privileged to be returning back to a country like Canada, so I can't even imagine the stress people from less fortunate situations feel.
I'm so excited that the podcast is coming back! Also can totally relate to that feeling of not being inspired by your wardrobe right now... Lockdown certainly doesn't help 😂. One thing it has made me realize though is that I no longer want to keep clothes that aren't comfortable or don't fit quite right because I will just never wear them.
Always make my day brighter, love hearing what you are up to, good luck with your UK citizenship, I am Canadian but know you will always be a happy Canadian!!!
Yesss I love a long video😘 I’m also so happy that the podcast is coming back, I’ve been recently re-listening all the old ones. You’ve been treating us well during Covid/lockdown 🙏🏻
Thank you for providing me with entertainment, comfort, and companionship for YEARS! I turned 30 this year as well, it’s been a journey 🤓 Love from Northern California 🌲 xoxo Kelsey
I always wondered about your status in the UK! As a fellow Canadian who would LOVE to make the move to London but I have so many questions and the whole idea stresses me! Thank you for being so transparent with everything! Sending love from COLD & SNOWY Canada!! xx
Smart move to get the citizenship sorted out. Since the rules can change quickly I applied for citizenship 5 years and 1 day after I'd arrived on an ILE (indefinite leave to enter which you get when you apply from the outside). It also means you can leave the country for more than 90 days and still come back online on the visa.
I fully understand what you went through and still are! I moved to Canada from Brazil 9 years ago and people don't realize how much it goes into all the visas and permits (re)applications. It is extremely psychologically demanding and it takes time until you are actually allowed to call that country your forever home, if you ever even get there! Sending my love to you. You've done the hard bit already! 🖤
these days im really trying to watch all the adds on my fave UA-camrs - i feel so grateful for the escapism and joy they've brought me through lockdown - most days its the only conversations or outside views i see. i could have been having a really shit day and seeing someone i love post a new video would give me such a boost! all the while they had to deal with the pandemic themselves! TIP if you have annoying adds (queue Squarespace "they don't" just let it play and press mute LOL
Hey Estee, Your work brings joy to so many people. For the few that can't see that, they can look the other way. I just bought the chunky chain ring and I can't wait to have a piece of your hard work on display. Sending so much love 💕
Love you and your content Estée! We left UK to live in Canada - the paperwork! That was 21 years ago now and I still remember studying for the Canadian citizenship test, fun times!
for EU people wondering, i know that at the moment people can apply for a pre-settler status (just got mine), which allows you to stay and work in the UK for 5 years, and once you've completed your 5 years you can apply for a settler status! hope it helps!
I totally get you on the not feeling the vibes with your clothes! I am on the same boat here since I work from home! And don't worry too much about the comments about sponsors. You give us so much content for free. You deserve the sponsors.
Wishing you all of the best on this citizenship journey, Estée! As a Canadian-American who's going for German citizenship in a couple of years, I hear you about the documentation process. Also, you are a businesswoman in new media. You define how it is successful for your life, not us. I think viewers are just too used to entitlement of information that comes cheaply to them *edit: translating* to being cheap for the creator to earn, which just isn't the case. Totally support you, Lady, and hope that you feel you can always promote the reality of your situation to your own channel. :) Hope you're well!--Emmy
Love how you’ve become a Londoner! I moved there 6 years ago and honestly don’t see myself living anywhere else. P.s I love your long vlogs can we have more!❤️
I was told my UK citizenship application was successful earlier this month and I immediately felt such a huuuuge sense of relief (yes, happy tears were shed). I know how complex, tiring and expensive the naturalisation process can be. I wish you the best of luck with it!
I absolutely love your vlogs, I feel like I’m catching up with an old friend 🧡 when you were talking about body products and you asked “what about you?” I paused the video and genuinely gave an answer 😂 oh this lockdown
I feel you on the having nowhere to dress up for because of COVID. I spent the weekend sorting through my clothes and putting away all of my covid impractical clothes (things that are dry clean only, things that uncomfortable) and feel so much better now that I don't rummage through my closet to find something to wear!! It's sorted into comfy, cute and comfy, cute enough for zoom 🤣, etc.
We moved to Guelph 4 years ago from the Uk and we are in the process of getting our permanent visa but it’s so hard and a process especially with COVID. We are in limbo land as we bought a home and we could still be turned down. We have at least 13 months to wait. Sending love to you. Ps I met you at your Bloom book event in Waterloo I think it was and you were lovely .
I done all that too few years ago so know how difficult it is to satisfy all those requirements. That test! I still remember it. Hot day in a tiny office, we were not allowed to go out of the door to get a bit of fresh air. After that it continued to be quite nerve wrecking - the wait for the final decision. Wishing you the best.
Thank you for responding to my comment))) i enjoy so much watching your videos and chill vibe ))) you support yourself it is great, maybe I'm just missing those old videos like " 6 my favorite tea and tea mugs" "10 things you didn't know about me" "learning how to cook " "my shoe collection" "5 dresses I have but never wear"(that is about me already 🤣) Your declater video was cool )))
Why people still (and tbh also then) think that ads are not ok in 2020 is just 🤷♀️Do they think content creators are a charity?! How would that even be sustainable and even realistic? Anyway, I LOVE your podcast and am sooo glad that it's coming back next month!! 😭 Thank you so much for doing this for us :))
Hi Estee! I'm in a similar situation as you, here on the Youth mobility visa from Australia for two years. But instead of applying a partner visa in the UK we have decided to apply for partner visa in Australia! Totally understand how stressful it is with the visa. Thanks for your video, love your content.
Good luck with the citizenship! I've gone through the process myself so I know how long it is and how much you need to pay. I had my citizenship ceremony two months ago. :)
I am an herbalist and I mostly use herbal infused oils on my body and sometimes salves because they feel more interactive aka I like melting them into my hands and reciting mantra or infusing intention into as a ritual before rubbing it into my body 💞
I love that you moved to the UK to be with a partner and while that relationship wasn’t right, you have now found your home ❤️ congratulations!
Nowhere else I'd rather be!
@ I lived in London in 1986-1988. Esteê believe me...you are in the right place. I’m European, and if my situation was different I would absolutely live in London/England.

Thanks for your video, love your content.
G bless for long vlogs to watch while I chip away at work
Good luck with the citizenship! I've gone through the process myself so I know how long it is and how much you need to pay. I had my citizenship ceremony two months ago. :)
loved that this one was a bit longer - good luck on your citizenship!!
And I have a feeling that born and bred Brits (me) wouldn’t even know the answers to most of those questions 😹
UK is deeelighted to have you Estee! 🇬🇧
I love your podcast so much and looking forward to it!

I am an herbalist and I mostly use herbal infused oils on my body and sometimes salves because they feel more interactive aka I like melting them into my hands and reciting mantra or infusing intention into as a ritual before rubbing it into my body 💞
made my day to watch this today...i needed it, BADLY.....
I was so sad when you stopped uploading on the podcast so I’m happy you might be making more content
