Hi Maria! I’m a beekeeper. Your garden looks like heaven for a sweet bee! Not only does the garden enrich your family, it enriches the pollinators! 🦋 🐝 Thank you!!
I absolutely love your gardening videos. Not only are they relaxing to watch and listen to but they make me want to get out and garden as well. Also...it is just so amazing watching Mila grow. She is such a big girl now! 🥹♥️
i really admire what a resilient strong woman you are. You have overcome so many challenges in your young life to get to where you are now. I wish peace and prosperity on you for the rest of your life. You are a true inspiration.
I feel like I’m watching a PBS gardening show on a cozy Saturday afternoon! I love how you called your plant mixture a “recipe;” I just read the phrase “tulip bulb lasagna” the other day!
I really like the voiceover, I think it's more calm than the alternative. Also, I get a lot of visual triggers, and somehow the 5 edited plant photos on top of the bark really did it for me 😂
Running around the back yard looks like so much fun for Mila and gardening with you will be treasured memories for her. I really enjoy watching these videos even though I have no gardening skills at all.
These are my favourite videos. Please do more of these if you can find the time Maria. They are informative and relaxing. Your normal voice is my favourite pick me up and boy do i need that at the moment. Thank you ❤ xx
I loved this! I'm always thrilled to see a couple glimpses of Mila being her charming self haha. I remember your very first gardening video and WOW, you've created an entire oasis in your own backyard 💓
That mint will take over that whole pot! I grow pineapple mint every year and it is AGGRESSIVE. I plant it in its own planter now, I love the flavor of the leaves in seltzer or mojitos :)
I’ve been following your garden videos. Your vision is being brought into fruition so gracefully. What a beautiful space you’ve created! -fellow zone 9b gardener
I don't blame Mila, that yard looks so fun to play in! My yard as a kid was huge and didn't have as many plants but it did have a lot of hills and places to climb. Things like that really feed the imagination
You are so multi-talented and such a diligent student of whatever you undertake. I admire your attention to detail. It’s the details that make life an art form. I also admire your eye for and appreciation of beauty in many things. I hope you have as much peace and happiness as you bring to countless number of people.
Hi Maria! Thank you for posting these gardening videos! They've really helped inspire me to tackle my own hillside landscape that I've not really known what to do with!
Your garden is very calming and serene. The potted plants are really pretty. Oooh my goodness. Mila got a hold of Mama's phone.😄😄 What a moment! Get well soon, Masha.💜🌿🌸🌿🌳💜
Gardener here. I think for the space in your garden you are planting wayyyy to few plants. For example: if you want the Cookie monster hill to look full grown in a year, you have to at least plant 5 - 7 clusters of these lilac plants, otherwise the hill will never grow over. So let's say 5 clusters of 3-5 plants at least! Don't plant single plants, they are not enough for the amount of soil space you have. 😉 Also the plants in clusters will provide shadow for the other ones so the soil, especially on a hill will not dry out so fast.
This makes me look forward to summer so much! Just got my seeds for the vegetable garden the other day. Can't wait! Hope you're feeling better soon. ❤️
Did Mila talk with Lena in Russian? lol What a stinker! I think every parent has that kind of story. 😅 So funny! Love watching how your garden has progressed, Masha.
I really appreciate your lifestyle videos! There's something special about the way that you relate to us through the camera, as well as your family members. And your dear plants too, of course :)
Maria you inspire me to make my flower bed in my front yard to stay looking pretty! I’ve been getting lazy with it but I’m going to go work in it today after watching this video!
Hi Maria you are so lucky to live somewhere that’s sunny and pleasant in feb/ march I’m so jealous in Ireland it’s grey and wet all the time x love your vids
Pots turned out beautifully! Love your garden updates (we are about 40 min away so similar plantings). If you have a boggy area maybe consider Japanese iris? If you like combo fruit trees I highly recommend the all pluot ones. They do well here, have fewer headaches than the peach and apricot, and the harvest is staggered through the summer.
My neighbors in Oklahoma had huge honeysuckle bushes in their front yard. Many years old and easily taller than the fences. IT SMELLED SO AMAZING. I’m not sure if you have but you may want to check out buying lady bug and praying mantis eggs/ babies and putting them in your garden! They help eat aphids and are so cute and sweet to find!
I love watching your gardening videos, thank you for taking the time to show us everything. Mila is so cute, so funny that she called your old classmate in Russia 😂
I was so excited to see a garden update! I’ve been yearning for spring & it started snowing here in Michigan last night… spring will be here soon, but in the meantime, I’m living vicariously through you! I love your planters outside of your dining room! I think I will try something similar at my house. 💕🌸🌺
Good for you that you take such good care of your beautiful garden. Me, I only like to spray water on bushes or grass and thats it. I see its cold in California! Thanks for sharing your growing garden with us.
Your gardens are beautiful!! I love this type of video. I am slowly building up my gardens since moving into our house 3 years ago and between droughts and freezes, it's been tough. I'm in zone 9a and have been planning some of the same plants you picked and glad to get some other ideas from your garden. I love maples and would like to find somewhere in my yard to add some.
Wow you have such an awesome landscape to work with! So beautiful and love these videos they are so relaxing ☺️ you have inspired me to try and grow something in my flower beds this spring! 🌸
Hi Maria! I’m a beekeeper. Your garden looks like heaven for a sweet bee! Not only does the garden enrich your family, it enriches the pollinators! 🦋 🐝 Thank you!!
I can’t believe how big Mila is getting, she’s going to be a teenager right before our eyes🥹🥹🥹
I absolutely love your gardening videos. Not only are they relaxing to watch and listen to but they make me want to get out and garden as well. Also...it is just so amazing watching Mila grow. She is such a big girl now! 🥹♥️
Watching you in the garden is very peaceful. The flowers, the sound of the birds...it's rather Zen 😌
Was seriously missing these garden updates! ❤
