- A last minute decision after going to Detroit after filming a ship, we drove to Flint Michigan to ride the Huckleberry Railroad at Crossroads village. This was my/our first visit to Crossroads Village where the Huckleberry Railroad runs. This ride made our 9th train ride of 2018. ( 1- Ohio Rail Experience @ Springfield, 2- Tennessee Valley Missionary Ridge Local, 3- PM 1225 Howell Melon Festival run, 4 Jeddo Coal 85 @ FWRHS open house, 5- North Shore Scenic Two Harbors Turn, 6- Hocking Valley #3, 7- NKP 765 Steam in the Valley at the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, 8- PM 1225 Polar Express and #9 Huckleberry! I don't know if we'll top that in the future but it was a ton of fun for the family and proves that railfans actually do contribute to the operating expenses of historic trains.

Thank you Drew! This was a cool little operation to film and a good place to visit. We'll come back for some summer action too.
That would be a nice video to see.
Scott, that is a truly gorgeous video. Sound quality, top notch. Love that whistle in the opening shot. Excellent.
Thank you! She does have a fine whistle!
You must have been the guy next to me when we were chasing it at the loop. You said hi to me
Yes I believe we were the only 2 there. Thanks for stopping by my channel
@@ScottTaipaleRail your welcome!
I would be honored to use a part of this video for the Flint School of Performing Art's Virtual Holiday walk video. I am hoping to put the Dort Honors String Quartet members around the train as it moves by. Would we be able to have your permission to use the section of 3:57-5:32 for this purpose? Thank you so much!
Yes you have my permission, good luck with the project!
@@ScottTaipaleRail Thank you so much. We have a good start on it already. ua-cam.com/video/i2iHfeARiwc/v-deo.html

@N&W 2156 Y6a alaska railroad
@@still-plays-with-trains2550 the ARR was standard gauge, it would have to have been the WP&Y
N&W 2156 Y6a Alaska railroad was originally narrow gauge when built in 1903
@@still-plays-with-trains2550 If memory serves me correct, this engine was built in either 1912 or 1925, long after the conversion, and for awhile it was gov't owned, so I'd say it served on thwe WP&Y, at least while state owned
