The Ballad of Ka'Hai: An Uktan Story | Fantasy Dinosaur Documentary

The Ballad of Ka'Hai follows the life story of Ka'Hai, an uktan, monarch of Kaimere's vast and dynamic prairies. Uktan are megaraptorans, theropods descended from animals like Australovenator and Orkoraptor that evolved into giant many-ton apex predators after the tyrannosaurs went extinct. Uktan are a social species, and Ka'Hai's life is defined by his family and all the critical lessons they teach him in preparation for a challenging life out on an unforgiving savanna.
Though entirely fictional, the format was inspired by a range of wildlife and paleontology documentaries, with The Ballad of Big Al by Impossible Pictures being the greatest inspiration and earning an homage in the title.
Songs of the Inland Sea is the sequel to Tales of Kaimere! It is a nautical anthology, with all six short stories and novellas taking place in aquatic settings. There are heists on a ship, a desperate chase through a marsh, and a survival story from the perspective of a killer whale!
