I remember when Vinnie Moore first hit the rock guitar scene in 1986 with Mind's Eye. Tony MacAlpine hit the scene that same year. A good time to be into guitar playing.
It sure was! I met Vinnie at a guitar clinic in 87 and he was the coolest. He loved the questions I was asking and spent extra time with me chatting afterwards. You can tell when a person is being genuine and he was definitely that and then some.
Dude just fricking rocks. One of my top five, rock guitarists along with Satriani, Buckethead, Vai and Andy James. OK, there's a lot more but you know!
@@robbwaltonguitar735 Thanks i thought he was using KRAMER exclusively these days but was not 100% sure. I have seen him with a Pacer imperial and a Stagemaster. The one in this vid appears to me a Custom build for him?

Two of the greatest of all time!
I started playing guitar in ‘86 (on my 15th birthday) because of guys like them.

Heck yeah man! I'm about to turn 54 in October. I used to listen Mind's Eye every night to fall asleep to. I love that album. Great memories!
Most underrated musician.
Luv Vinny! He’s a melodic genius that has perfected instrumental guitar songwriting and recording 🎸.
Keep rocking Vinnie. Waiting for another album. Make it rock like the Maze album.
Thanks for posting this up. Hope to catch a VM solo tour one of these daze!
What a playing, such a tone! My guitar legend GOAT

I never realized that he used an e-bow on the little breakdown during The Maze. Very cool!

I noticed the sound changed when you zoomed in and out. Zoomed in had more bass. How does that happen? I'm baffled. lol
Sounds great though!

He left Dean guitars a couple years ago, and is having a signature guitar coming out with Kramer.
Lenda☄🔥
I still have the Mind's Eye Cassette Tape. Saw the Vin Man play in Myrtle Beach SC back in the late '80s. He's actually kind of short.
Holy shit! At the beginning of the video, it sounded like Jim Morrison was singing, "Yeeaaah!" 🤣
