Thank you Thank you Thankyou for this video! As a novice, this gave me the confidence to remove my rear tire on the Magicycle Ocelot Pro and insert a Tannus Armor. I now have done something the rest of my family has never done. Thank you again!
Love the video they are very helpful. I have a question for the brake but i have squeaking on my front brake on my heybike explorer. Is it the same thing to adjust
very nice video, thank you very much, my new engine x came in yesterday and anfter a little ride outdoors, the front breaks started squeaking like a mf. will try this tomorrow!
Very nice video which I'll save, but will you do a video on squealing brakes (when applied)? How to clean the pads and the rotor? My front brake squeals badly and I'm stumped. I've cleaned the rotor (I thought). My bike has been like this for a couple years and began after I owned it for a couple months.
Bruce!!! Bruce here too. SO I did a video on the Mars earlier this year. Follow it or these directions and it should stop most of your squeak of squalling. Do this procedure then follow up with 70-100% IPA on a new clean Micro fiber cloth and clean the rotor no need to be sparing on the IPA it dries quickly. If you do all of that and your brakes still do that the next step is buy better pads(cheapest next thing)
Great Demo on the video! Have you had any videos on the safety of charging the E-bike batteries? Lately it seems people are not taking the necessary precautions.
Can you help me I have the Heybike Tyson but this is like rocket science for me I don’t have any experience working on bicycles I rlly could use some help my front brake isn’t working the caliper though the little metal things that pinch together seem to go together but the brake is very hard to pull all the way in compared to the back one is that normal? I don’t think so but I don’t know, someone please help me out
I don't quite get all you are saying, but take a short video...about 1 minute and put it on the heybike electric bike support group andsomeone from heybike or a follower will help with your issue.
I was hoping this was about fixing brake squeal. All my bikes are adjusted correctly, but I get squealing, usually the front brake. I've tried cleaning with alcohol and sanding brake pads. Helps but still squeals, especially when wet.
So if you did all that correctly and cleaned the rotors and I assume you did. I would suggest buying a higher grade brake pad. The pads on these bikes are not very expensive and absolutely higher graded pads would and should help. The resonance coming from the rotor and pads will be there on most all when they get wet. Another way to get ride of the squalling is to get thicker rotors not always an option, but if you are struggling and hate it then do these things or replace with hydraulics.
Ricardo...This is for manual pull brakes with a cable... Not hydraulic brakes. Hydros are totally different. Heybike Mars and Ranger are Mechanical pulls not hydros.
Riding a 72V Solar Eclipse Ebike and experiencing front brake squealing. Thank you for the tutorial.
Welcome welcome.

Hey, can you do a video like this with the heybike Brawn?
soon yes. I will have it this fall.
